- How it works: The coffe maker is made up of 2 main parts: the bottom chamber, the top chamber with the funnel-shaped filter basket. Fill the bottom chamber with cold water up to the level of the safety valve, then put the silicon gasket on it . fill it with k cup pod. Screw the top chamber onto the bottom one, making sure it’s tightly sealed. As the water in the bottom chamber heats up, it will create steam. The steam will rise through the pod, extracting the flavor and aroma. The brewed coffee will then be pushed up into the top chamber.

Firstly the coffee tasted fine. BUT: 1) It took 8 minutes from pushing the on button till pouring the coffee. 2) The first cup was cold as soon as it was poured; from all the metal in the upper section I’m guessing. 3) The second cup was warmer but still not hot. 4) It took 3 brewings to fill one insulated mug of coffee. That means it took over 30 minutes to brew my 1 mug of coffee…..

I have had this for a week, making two to three cups a day, and I can say I am not satisfied. I followed the instructions that came with, which actually were helpful, but the coffee maker continually fails to brew my coffee. It will run its course without actually sending the water in the reservoir through the disposable coffee pod and into the tank. I will also fail to start. I bought this as a convenience item to make my coffee in my vehicle before going into my place of work, but I will run it out of time trying to get my coffee. It also leaves large amounts of grounds in he reservoir and tank, as well as on top of the silicone seal.

Nice looking machine but it start leaking the first time I used. I think they could design it better. There is a rubber gasket that you have to remove and replace back every time you use it. I don’t recomend this machine
