   This isn’t a bad little single cup brewer. It might be worth mentioning a few things about it. First, this does not have the feel of real glass, or at the very least if it is, it’s not very thick or heavy and seems like it might break easily. Most single cup brewers I’ve seen have been made out of ceramic or a fairly thick glass. Second. the opening to the cup is fairly wide. If you’re using manufactured cone filters, depending on the quality, over a few minutes the coffee may start to get heavy enough to sag the bottom of the filter, and if you use enough force when pouring, you COULD potentially bust right through it. For what it’s worth, it’s probably worth getting foldable filters that you can put into a cone shape yourself and combine that avoiding pouring your water into the center (which if you know anything about pour-over brewing, you should try to avoid anyways). The last concern I had was that the base is wood. Most single cup pour-over units I’ve seen have been all one contained piece made of the same material as the cone. The concern here is that with steam coming off the cup, over time water will saturate in the wood and start to mold. It’s worth noting that there is not much varnish or finish on it at all.

   I like the design and overall idea of this teapot. The wood collar that sits between the top and bottom of the teapot doesn’t have a gasket on it so it doesn’t fit well. The top of the teapot is very unstable because of this. There is nothing to keep the top from tipping or leaning over or even falling out.

   It was okay but honestly the filter is so small for the size of the carafe you cant put too much coffee in. I think if the filter fit the inside of the carafe better it would be a great Kinto alternative. Nice product but not super efficient

   I absolutely LOVE this Pour Over Coffee Maker!!! Who would have thought!!! It’s so perfect and it makes the perfect cup of coffee. It’s so easy to use…it’s just as stated “pour over”, it’s just that simple. The filter is reusable, just rinse and reuse, as it is stainless steel. The design is simple but so elegant and this coffee maker takes up a small footprint on your counter, it’s the perfect size. It’s great quality and well made. I love the borosilicate glass it’s sturdy and durable. This would definitely make a great gift for anyone, tea or coffee drinker. Please keep in mind that when you use this pour over coffee maker, you pour slowly and watch it so that you don’t make it spill over. This coffee maker has been my choice since I got it, rather than using my big coffee maker. A great, great value. I highly, highly recommend.

   This is a very nice pour over coffee maker. The filter really does work well. They mention it can prevent residue from falling through the filter and that is absolutely true. It makes a pretty clean cup of coffee. My cold brew pitcher reusable filter lets a lot more residue from grounds through. So I am pleased with the quality of this filter. It works very well. It’s easy to use, well made and nice looking. It’s perfect for one person. If you’re making for multiple people it may be too small. Or you have to be ok with taking time to make a few batches. The glass on this is sturdy. While glass can always break if you drop it, this isn’t so delicate that I’d worry every time I set it on a hard surface. It also pours nicely from the spout and does not drip everywhere. The filter and glass wash clean easily. I hand was them with hot water. The listing does say dishwasher and microwave safe though. The one comment I will make is that with the narrower neck, you need a bendable brush to get in there and get the outer rim of the bottom section when cleaning. This is not overly difficult. I already had a softer, flexible brush that works well for this. But I did have to make effort to do this when hand washing. Maybe I should just try the dish machine? Haven’t tried that yet. I do also wish it came with a neoprene sleeve or something to help hold some of the heat in while it dripped. Pour over takes a few minutes so the temp of your beverage will drop a few degrees. It does come with a very small silicone piece that covers the piece of the filter that sticks out as a very small handle. This protects your fingers from the hot metal when you lift it. That is a good thing. However, for some reason, it is not glued on. It slides off very easily. I almost lost it down the sink drain when washing because I didn’t realize it came off. So I will probably glue that piece in place. Just be careful the first time you go to wash it and know that it can slip off or you may lose it. I now remove it before cleaning. Overall, I am super happy with this and would definitely purchase again. The quality is excellent and I would recommend it. It could also make a nice gift for a coffee lover. This is now my favorite way to make coffee as long as I have a more leisurely morning. *Please note. In one photo the pot is on a burner. The stove is not on. That burner does not work. Don’t want to give anyone false ideas. I just have limited counter space and set it there when brewing.

   I bought this for a vacation home, ended up liking it, and now use it at home. I truly appreciate the volume markings are in actual values (oz/mls) rather than the number of 5 oz cups. My mugs hold 10 oz of coffee plus milk, so the carafe holds enough for 2 mugs. If it is just for one person, the lid for the carafe helps to hold in the heat. Because it is glass and the heat loss is quick, I put the carafe on a folded towel or pot holder. It uses a number 2 filter. I recommend not going with very thin Melita style filters. The bottom of the glass dripper has a large hole and does not completely support the bottom of the Melita filters. I have ripped a couple of them when pouring the water too fast. When I used two of the thin Melita filters it worked just fine.

    The unit is completely made of thin glass. It is beautiful but I never got to enjoy it as it was just placed in the box with one sheet of flat bubble wrap. Nothing else was protecting it and the box did not indicate that the item is fragile anywhere on it so imagine how many times it got tossed around. I was really looking forward to this item as it is very pretty.

    I was torn between giving the product 5 stars or 4 stars. The one knock I can give it is that it is very fragile and thin. The reason I decided to give this 5 stars is that I knew that based on the reviews I read, but be aware, this item is thin. As for the coffee maker itself, it’s fantastic. 18oz was the perfect size for me. The included filter is excellent as well. What I like about this filter as opposed to some of the other filters is that is allows the drip to escape from the bottom as well as the sides. Just be careful using it.

    This works great for 1-3 cups of coffee. The esthetics on this is just on point. I love it. Please note, this is for slow pour over. As in, slowly drips, not fast coffee machine. If you’re looking to make fast coffee, do not get a pour over or drip coffee. The filter does not get clogged up. However, it is best used when rinseed/washed in between uses. Meaning after pouring in water for about 2 cups, you need to throw out the beans, rinse/wash the filter and then use it to make more coffee. The only “fast” pour over makers are the ones you use paper filter with. Hope this helps.

    This is a great-sized pour over coffee maker. It makes about one to one and a half cups of coffee and comes with a lid you can put over the top of the glass partition to close it off so it doesn’t spill. To make the pour over coffee you just put the triangle bit in the top, put a filter on it and coffee in and start the process. Recommended!!

    This comes with it’s own mesh filter that you can put the coffee into and don’t have to worry about using paper filters inside of it. The mesh keeps the coffee grounds from seeping through. The only thing you will need to use this is a kettle or you can heat up water in the microwave. You simply pour it over the coffee grounds and inn less than a minute, you have fresh coffee. So much more convenient than using a coffee pot and I like it better than a keurig personally. If you are looking for a new way to brew your coffee, you will love this. I would recommend it.

    I didn’t think I would like this as much as I do. I’ve wanted a pour over coffee maker for a while. I’ve looked at a few different types, like the ones that just sit on your mug, etc. This came along, and frankly, it’s styling appealed to me. I like the fact that it has an ounce (or should I say 600 ml) of thoughtful design! It makes a great couple of large cups of coffee and I use a paper filter, and water at around 200 F. I let the water first percolate and bubble and then gradually pour more through. It is a peaceful and relaxing start to my day.

    I love that this small pour over coffee make is portsble because I am able to take it when I travel. The glass carafe is beautifully made. I wish it would have been packaged with at least simple instructions. There weren’t any instructions or at least one coffee filter to get a feel of how the coffee maker functions.
