I replaced my drip coffee maker with this. The volume markings on the side are very useful. The cone has a very tight mesh and does not let grounds through. No need for cone filters. Coffee made at home is just as tasty as that from a coffee house. And it is pretty on my counter. Perfect for one mug. Coffee is not wasted.
