   It’s not a bad product that’s actually perfect if you’re traveling and they don’t have coffee or you’re going or drink drink coffee. It fits in your bag easily the case is great. I wish it might have been made a little bit bigger because I enjoy a little bit more coffee than this mug can hold. Yes I understand the concept that they’re trying to make it as small as possible and put it in your travel bag. But I find having to make another cup of coffee slightly annoying. Overall I would buy this product again. As with all such systems, the coffee can be a little weaker than I prefer, but it is Acceptable.

   Just what I wanted. Classy looking, works really well, has a protective case. It’s great. Highly recommend!!! I drink any kind of coffee, brewed in any kind of way. I have a soft spot for pour over coffee brewing because sometimes the best cup of coffee has come from that. I was looking for a new pour over system- partly because I was considering a gift for my husband to keep at work, and partly for use for me. So far, this has been for me, lol! I had been using a silicone brewer–great, but needs a specific sized paper filter. I figured I would go the permanent route of trying a steel filter. As I shopped, it was then I discovered that there are steel filters that also serve as the brewing vessel. woah. Then I saw some come with a pot for the coffee to pour into. I prefer the kind that sit on a mug. This borosilicate glass mug with stainless steel brewer filter WITH a carrying/storage case stood out among all the others. Actually, I only saw one other with a carrying case, and it was really just a draw string bag. Boom, decision made. Ok so, add coffee to filter, place on top of mug. Pour hot water over filter. It seems like the coffee would just pour out from the filter holes and make a mess, but it doesn’t- there are slats in the base of the filter that allow the coffee to pour directly into the glass mug. Very clean brew, very clean looking system. A steel lid can be used as a coaster for the mug, or for the spent filter, or as a lid on the mug (as a loose cover, not a secure lid). All of it easy to clean. The hard/firm soft case (like a soft but firm case for sunglasses. Clamshell style?definitely neoprene) is formed to perfectly fit the mug and filter. Has zip closure. Also a snap loop that keeps it extra secure and allows for hanging. Takes up very little room. The glass mug is clear. Reminds me of a lab beaker of the sort. This might be also why I was drawn to it as my husband works in a lab. I have tried the filter on other mugs. If the base was just a little wider, it would work on most mugs. It will definitely work on most or all travel mugs. Love everything about this pour over brew system!

   This product is only so-so for me. I would say the biggest advantage is the really helpful carrying case that does keep your items safe. On the other hand, the cup itself is incredibly fragile and the metal component is also rather flimsy. I haven’t broken any of the pieces or had issues there, but I wouldn’t really say it lives up to its full potential in terms of a travel item. I wish they could have fit a much sturdier mug in there and used a little bit of a thicker metal for the filter itself. I think the design overall is very smart, but it doesn’t totally stick the landing for me.

   I read a lot of mixed reviews prior to my purchase and my gut instinct was right. If you aren’t having a good experience with this piece of equipment, you just aren’t brewing properly. If you employ all the good standard practices of making a pour over, you will have a good cup of coffee. 15g of coffee roasted within the last month and ground fairly course with a 1:17 ratio of coffee to water at 205 degrees, bloom, then add gradually until you reach approximately 250mL. This is perfect for making a single cup of coffee in an environment where you can’t reliably have your full setup—obviously you’ll still need a grinder and a hot water source. For $20, there simply is no beating this thing. I’ve definitely found my #1 travel and work companion when it comes to coffee brewing. Extremely well done, Oranlife.

    This coffee maker unfortunately came apart at the tac welds after two months of use. There is a section that connects the top stainless part to the stainless mesh below and is welded in four places using small tac welds. These welds all came loose on mine and it fell apart.

    Starbucks has nothing on this bad boy! It works great and makes a good cup of joe. The filter itself is a little small so you have to babysit it a little more to keep adding water. The only other complaint is that the filter base will only fit on standard sized mugs. It will not sit on any rim that is larger than 3” in diameter.

    This is perfect for travel or the office. Makes it easy to make your favorite coffee on the fly. I keep this at my office for when i need one more cup of coffee. Don’t have to make a whole pot and share your favorite coffee! Easy to clean and stores easily in the case to prevent breaking!

    I really like this, I’ve never tried or used pour over coffee, not bad at all, in fact perfect for that quickie 1/2 cup or whatever size you want! I thought the flavor would be different, I like strong coffee and buy and grind my own. So, I am able to make this as strong as I want! Love it really. I am not a huge fan of the glass mug, they get super hot. But this fits over a couple other mugs I have, plus I can always use the glass to make and pour into my favorite non-glass mug. So not a big deal
