I was enjoying this coffee press but today it just fell apart in my hands. The handle where it was attached to metal ring that went around the glass canister came loose. I’m glad I was not pouring hot coffee when this happened. Would not want a replacement if it is the same as this one. Disappointed because I was really enjoying drinking the coffee made with a coffee press.

This model is cheaply made and the glass is very thin. We broke it just be it being hit by the side of a fork… also doesn’t retain heat well. We switched to stainless steel.

My first French Press so I did not want something expensive or fancy until I knew I liked using it. It has been an outstanding purchase and performed very well to date. I have used both coffee ground at coffee shop for French Press as well as ground coffee I do myself with spice grinder, and the Press worked well using both types.
Great size to keep at office for when you want that afternoon cup of coffee. Easily disassembles to clean.

The part that I’m pointing at in the foto slides up and down if it’s not tightened exactly right. This must be done EVERY TIME. My last french press the part was firmly attached and NEVER caused a problem. I would not buy another one of these.

Easy to use, easy to rinse and clean, and makes a tastier cup of coffee that I can directly control than a drip coffee maker. Slightly more work than dealing with K-cups, but the French press offers more dimensions of flavor. This will make two large cups of coffee at a time, if you want it to.
