   I drink only cold-brewed coffee and I have tried several techniques for brewing my own while traveling, none of which worked so well and all of which were messy (leaving me straining coffee grounds in a hotel room sink, etc.). I love this product! So much thought was put into the design. I love that it’s a glass bottle (dishwasher safe!) that doesn’t interfere with the taste of the coffee. I also love the sleeve that helps to keep the coffee cold, and especially love the loop detail which allows you to hook it onto your bag. I’m so happy that the size of the bottle fits into most any cupholder. At first, I was disappointed because the top opening isn’t big enough to put most ice cubes inside, but then I realized (duh!) that you can open it up through the bottom instead and put ice cubes inside that way (after your coffee is done brewing)! My only complaint is that my coffee did not turn out as strong as I like it. I tried putting more coffee grounds in than recommended (filling the basket completely full rather than 3/4 full) and that just made the coffee turn out weaker somehow). But still – this is by far the best travel cold-brewed coffee maker I’ve found! And I also just love it as a travel cold-brewed coffee mug!

   Makes great cold brew. Be sure to use corse ground coffee. I gave 4 stars due to leaking issues. I have a work around I now stand the brewer on it’s cap. Works like a champion.

   It does what it says. It makes overnight cold brew, and it actually tastes pretty good. My qualm is with the bottom screw-on cap. This is the one that keeps the filter in place. You are supposed to remove it (the filter) before enjoying your beverage, but when it is cold the cap separates (metal exterior from plastic interior) and spins freely while you are a zombified level of tired and just want to drink your coffee. The top lid does not seem to have this problem; however, it very easily cross-threads and can allow your drink to leak.

   All that being said, I do still use this product. I still like the ability to make a single serving of Cold-brew, and have it ready for me in the morning. The idea is sound, the design is slightly lacking, but is not at all terrible for the price.

   EDIT: 2017-Dec-27 I picked it up while sitting at my desk, and went to twist the top off. Suddenly the bottom shatters, and water just goes all over me, my desk, and the office carpet. Luckily it wasn’t coffee. Old review: Use it at least once a week after getting it for cheap from a Thinkgeek sale. Hopefully no fakes are going around? It looks like a lot of them break but I’ve dropped mine and everything, still seals perfectly, etc.

   The lid is difficult to take off and the silver and cover came off on the 2nd use. Makes ok iced coffee. I’d rather buy a larger iced brew maker and have enough for the week rather than make it daily with this.

   A great way to save time in the mornings when you want a coffee but don’t have time to wait for it to cool down. Requires a little prep in advance, but no major issue. Easy to clean.

   More importantly, cold brew is great for cocktails. This thing can help you make a killer White Russian.

    I’m very pleased with this bottle so far. I’ve been making a bottle of cold brew a day since it came in the mail. The coffee it makes is comparable with other cold brews I’ve bought before. It’s tasty; I drink it without any cream or sugar.

    In regard to negative reviews, yes it does take about 12 hours to brew to my desired strength, and yes it does have several gaskets. These gaskets are no different than those in other flasks or bottles. I would not write a review saying “This bottle was great but then I lost the lid, and now it’s worthless!” so the same should go for the gaskets. They’re not that hard to lose, just don’t dump them out with the grounds, obviously. Also, it’s made of glass. I’m not in the habit of dropping glass things on the ground, but I would suppose that if I did, they would break. I’m trying my best not to drop this on the ground, but I have a feeling that the neoprene sleeve would help protect it.

    Update: —– The glass has a crack now 2/3 of the way through the length of the glass, after less than a month of use. Wasn’t dropped or subjected to extreme temperature changes. I work from home, and this was really just used this as a container kept in fridge for cold brew. Consider a non-glass version of this product? —– I love the concept of just having to brew one mug of cold brew at a time, instead of some of the larger setups. However, the problem I had with this product is that when you remove the filter from the bottom portion and screw the base lid back on, it no longer seals properly, and will repeatedly leak. My suggestion would be to leave the coffee infuser in, or pour into a separate mug. No, there’s no gasket missing… I suspect that the lack of the coffee infuser and it’s additional gasket makes the base lid unable to fully meet the base of the glass and properly seal without that additional layer present.

    I love the rolled edge off the inside lip, on the drinking end. However, the stainless steel pressed onto each end doesn’t hold fast. The top one simply falls off, but the bottom on spins around, making it so you can’t remove and/or tighten it. I ended up cutting the steel part of, so I could actually remove the bottom lid.
