   small easy to use makes great coffee get 2 mugs which is perfect for me. However pause and serve not great. pull decanter out and it drips all over the bottom of coffee maker. Also find drips of coffee on counter after pouring cup of coffee. I tried waiting til it stops brewing and when I pull decanter out it still drips on hot plate of coffee maker.

   This is the worse machine i ever had, I order it and after a couple of time using it, it stop working the water was not leaving the back and making loud noises and after that they send me another and that one also done the same thing and after that they send me a third one and again same thing only got one cup from it before its water would stay in the back and not go into the cup, this is a very terrible machine, do not buy it because its a terrible machine that does not work, I should know i had three of them and none of them work at all.

   This is exactly what I was looking for. I had it for over a year. I used it for a month or so then forgot about it in my cabinet. It’s perfect for when I get home and just want a cup of coffee. No hassle. Throw a cup in and push a button. I see alot of bad reviews but the one I got is great. I always put the hottest water from my faucet that I can and I sealed the hole in the back with epoxy so I could put more water in it without it pouring out of that hole. It makes amazing coffee.

   Downgraded to 1 star because it’s dangerous! I originally gave this a good review because I loved it… even with the occasional leak. I set it up in a tray to catch the water. If only used once a day or less, it didn’t leak or just leaked a little bit. But went I started to try make more that 1 cup a day, the leaks got to be too much. When I found out were the water was coming from, it scared the heck out of me, so I had to stop using it. I loved the coffee this thing made, & it was very convenient. But 1 out of every 2 or 3 times I’d use it, it would leak clear water. I never saw it leaking, it would seem to only do it when I wasn’t watching it, so it took me a long time to figure out where it was coming from. Sometimes it would leak just a tablespoon of water, other times, almost a half a cup. The problem is, if it only leaked a little, I wouldn’t know at first because the puddle was under the thing, so would only be discovered if I moved or lifted it. At first I thought maybe I used too much water, then too little water, maybe the water was too cold going in, or too warm. Nope, it seemed random. If I only used it once a day in the morning, it wouldn’t leak or leak much. If it was used a second or third time in a day it would leak or leak a lot. I think it was leaking & puddling inside the base on EVERY use, & the puddle inside would overflow onto the counter by the second or third cup. If I didn’t use it for a day or 2, the puddle inside the base would evaporate, leaving more space inside for it to leak again before it overflows out of it. I tested this theory by after making a cup of coffee, lifting the unit, & tipping it just a little to one side or backward. Water did indeed pour out of the base of the machine… from the area where the power cord goes in! It turns out it’s leaking right out the bottom inside where the AC power & electrical high voltage is. Due to the shock & fire hazard of getting the high voltage wiring wet inside, I’ve discontinued use until I can take it apart to try to fix it. It made no difference if I only used 8 oz of water or 10oz. Indeed, the last time I used it, I used only 8oz, only to discover almost half of it leaked out the bottom all over the tray. It got used only a few times a week for a little over a couple months, & leaked during making its second cup ever.

   This electric drip coffee maker looks fine- nice compact design with a little glass coffee pot that pours nicely, but when you fill the reservoir with water it leaks out the bottom and makes a puddle on the counter. Don’t know if it is just something wrong with this particular one, or the construction itself is just bad.

    At about the one-year mark of ownership this coffee maker pot broke in the dishwasher. I previously had to glue the pouring lip back on because that cracked and came off while handling/cleaning. In general, the glass pot is too thin and the lip is poorly designed meaning it cannot stand up to normal use and cleaning. Shame on you Proctor Silex for designing a poor product.     I am still in the process of deciding if I like this coffee maker or not but overall, it works properly. I was never a fan of k-cups because of their impact on the environment but i did purchase a box of k-cups along with this maker that have the more environment packaging just to test out the k-cup option. The machine works quickly, producing a decent cup of coffee in about three minutes, but the only issue I have so far is that the coffee isn’t hot enough for my liking. I find the temperature of the water to be hot enough to drink the coffee immediately, but I personally prefer the water to be on the hotter side. It may be best to make your coffee in a pre-warmed mug if your would like your coffee to be hotter than normal. I also found that the coffee produced from using grounds to be on the weaker side. But again, I am still testing the machine and finding the right combinations that work best with it. Overall, I do like what the machine is capable of and hope that I will be able to produce the perfect cup of coffee with it at some point.
