I absolutely love this coffee maker! I’ve always wanted a way to brew just one or two mugs of coffee at a time, and this machine delivers. As a fan of pour-over and AeroPress, I was looking for a no-fuss method to achieve a similar quality. This coffee maker produces a consistent exceptional cup with the simplicity of pushing a button.
I do have a couple of minor critiques. The start button is a bit too easy to press when removing or inserting the basket, but it’s something you adapt to quickly. Also, it feels like for the price there would be less plastic, but I guess plastic is pretty standard in most appliances these days. I also bought the expensive brand-name filters, but I will probably get the store-bought 8-12 cup flat basket ones from the store next.
Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase!

Makes good coffee but coffee doesn’t stay hot enough more than 2 minutes, which is not enough time to enjoy a 2 cup. It ends up “just warm” within 2 minutes of pouring which is not pleasant to drink. If they upgrade the unit to keep the coffee hot/warm enough, long enough, I will buy again.

First, I really liked the taste of the coffee this machine produced. It’s better than batch brewers I’ve had. Unfortunately as others have said, the brew temp isn’t hot enough. If you’re not pouring the coffee immediately after it’s done, you’re going to find yourself reheating it in the microwave. I found myself doing this constantly. And since there’s no warming plate, if you’re finishing the rest of the carafe 30-60 mins later, the coffee is cold. In addition, there’s no drip stop so after the brewer says it’s complete but still dripping, you can’t easily pour a cup without having drips fall onto the base. Given these compromises, I can’t justify paying this much. I would consider a Ratio in the future if they can address these issues.

This has worked really well for my needs. I only ever do a single cup of coffee in the morning, and this has been perfect. I usually fill the water container up to the 2 line, which produces about 10 oz of coffee. The complaints mentioned in the other reviews are legit, though. The coffee definitely doesn’t stay super warm for very long. The button is finnicky because even a slight brush will turn on the machine (which is annoying since I have a hairless cat that can trigger the machine just by walking by) and it does drip after finishing (not an issue I had with my Ninja coffee machine). Still, I like it and will keep using it until it dies.

Bought this maker as a Christmas gift to my wife. Not going to lie, now I’m using it every morning because it makes such a good cup. I’ve been using an aero press with the pressure valve to make an Americano for my morning cup, the coffee brewed with the ratio has a clarity to it that I can’t explain. Just had to do a little dialing in to get the strength of brew I was after. Only critique is the crane for the filter basket isn’t included. I had to order one from ratio for $6 ($15 with shipping) one more thing, this maker can use the 8-12 cup melitta pleated paper filters. Still trying to figure out what mesh filters will fit.
