   Omg this is the best cafetiere I have ever had. I’ve always had glass ones and the glass always eventually broke. This is so sturdy, keeps the coffee mega hot and is so easy to clean.    As a coffee snob I found French press to make the richest coffee. I must have owned over a dozen presses. Fragile Glass, hard to clean but resilient plastic…. And now this!

   Schnelle Lieferung. Die schwarze Ausführung ist an der Oberfläche sehr rau ähnlich wie diese neuartigen beschichteten Pfannen. Ungewöhnlich aber nicht unangenehm. Filterleistung super, nur minimal feines Kaffeemehl im Kaffeesatz. Aroma sehr gut.

   I love this one. I actually use it to make green tea every morning, and so far, after about 3 weeks, the tea is not staining it like it did my previous ones. Also it retains the heat well, though t not as well as I would have thought it might. It is not much better with that then my last glass one. Nonetheless I am very happy with the quality, and at age 72 I hope this will be my last one ever. haha.

   We all have had our share of broken glass French Press vessels over the years. When my cat jumped up on the table and knocked my latest one to the floor a few weeks ago I knew it was time to search for a new one. I found many similar to this one, so making the choice came down to price and color choices.

   I broke my old glass french press when it had a collision with my granite countertop, so needed a replacement. The Secura French Press was a great upgrade. it is sturdy (and will not break), easy to clean, and the insulated press keeps my second cup warm so I no longer have to microwave my second cup. In addition, the extra screens are great, but not sure I’ll use them because the edge design of the screen holder is much better than my old glass press, where the edges were often frayed. Overall great product, and am enjoying the press along with no longer dumping plastic pods in the trash.

    This french press is amazing. It is the best french press i ever bought or used. On a scale of 1 to 10 it is a 100. It keeps your coffee warm for a long time.     Pros:
    – Resistente. Al ser de metal es muy difícil que la rompas. Llevo tres de cristal en un año, esperemos esta nos dure mucho más de un año.
    – Calidad. Se siente muy bien hecha, de buena calidad, además es muy bonita.
    – Funcionalidad. Además de hacer café, como era de esperarse, mantiene la temperatura por bastante tiempo, y por fuera no se calienta, por lo que el riesgo de quemarte es mínimo.

    Contras:
    – Peso. Es pesada, al ser de acero y estar aislada, lo cual puede ser un problema para personas mayores, o con movilidad limitada.

    Fragile paint is probably why it was heavily discounted. Gonna return Sir Chipsalot here and get the all-stainless version for a bit more.

    Otherwise the carafe & press work well and my coffee tasted great. Their recommendation of a rounded tablespoon per 4 ounces water was way too strong for my taste. What worked best for me was, per 10-ounce cup, a single HEAPING tablespoon of medium-strength, medium ground coffee & a 4 minute steep time.

    Wanted a stylish Coffee Press and that’s what I got! It holds enough for about 3 to 4 cups of coffee (or 2 mugs). It’s lightweight and looks amazing. Easy to use and easy to clean. Plunger works well and it pours perfectly. When they say it’s ‘insulated’ I wouldn’t compare it to insulated drink mugs etc… it will keep your coffee hot for about 15 mins then it’s going to slowly lose heat. You can help it along by rinsing it out with hot water before use (I.e. pre warm it) and making sure to turn the lid to ‘closed’ after pouring. It’s a lovely addition to the kitchen and a pleasure to use.
