   I received this from the coffeemakers.us.com Vine program and am leaving my review voluntarily. Handy little coffee pot to travel with or use in your home. It is a single serve pot – you add the water each time you make a cup. Has a raised plate if you use a shorter cup. Water comes out a bit slow but otherwise worked well. $49.99 isn’t unreasonable.

   I was intrigued to try this being that it’s dual purpose with the pods or ground coffee. My husband is the only one in the house who drinks coffee so the single-serve works well for us. However his single-serve is probably a tad bigger than some others. So the 14 oz water well could be a little bigger… after all the removable base for the mug to sit on makes this accommodate a travel mug that oftentimes would hold a 20 oz (or bigger) mug. That being said, it brews pretty fast so you just have to wait a minute and refill the water well to do another batch – like 6 oz to make your 20 oz or whatever. That’s really my only gripe. Other than that – we really like this. I prep the coffee at night, so I just push the appropriate button (ground/pods) in the morning. Brews faster than the traditional single-serve coffee maker we were previously using (that only accommodated grounds) and being able to use pods is a bonus as my husband likes the holiday flavors for a couple weeks in December etc. Would recommend!

   Purchased August 5th. So it was delivered around the 8th. Today is September 14th. The coffee pot no longer works. It has only been used on the weekends. So at the maximum 20 cups of coffee. That is more than a dollar a cup. The return deadline was September 5th. Will not buy this brand again.

   Was looking for something that could do coffee, but also hot water quickly for our shared hospital office (for tea and oatmeal). We’ve tried others in the past and always resorted back to our trusty Sunbeam (shown in the picture for size comparison). I was really pleasantly surprised with this. It does K-cups, but also comes with insert to fill with coffee grounds or tea leaves (I tried coffee grounds and it worked perfectly, no spillage, leakage, and no grounds in my coffee.). I also did hot water for oatmeal, and it actually heat up faster than our Hot Shot. The only small caveat is that you can’t choose the size of what to make; whatever you have put in the reservoir is what will come out. There is also not a power button (just the selection of cup or ground on the side), so if you need to power it off for some reason you need to unplug it. Also has a removable insert to accommodate different coffee cup sizes. Very pleased with this – perfect for small spaces like office!

   The Good: >Skinny space saving design – about 5″ wide. 12inches high, but note you need room to open the lids for the pod and water. Would have been great if the water trough was removable by sliding, but alas. >Simple: plug it in, put the desired water amount (up to 14oz if you drink the weakest coffee in the world, LOL), push the button for a regular pod or the ground coffee pod >Non-slip feet really stick to our silestone counter like suction cups – nice disaster prevention feature. The Bad: > It’s obviously cheaply made, so the longevity should be questioned. (common for this price-point however) > Taste. My wife and I did a blind taste test against a not-to-be-named famous competitor (hint: begins with a “K”). We used Starbucks House Decaf pods with about 8oz of water. In all fairness, the machine we tested against is more expensive than this one. Here’s what we found: It brews a bit slower than the K competitor machine (and I suspect due to less pressure), resulting in a more bitter taste, likely due to under-extraction. In the last photo, you can see a bit of foam (or crema) on the competitor’s cup, indicating the higher pressure brewing process (I think anyway). Summary: Despite the space-saving design and simplicity (great), I had a hard time between 3 and 4 stars on this one. The taste is important to me, and I feel like there may be better options for $45. It seems like a slight upgrade to the cheap coffee makes you find in hotels. It may be fine for your Air BnB, but I’m not sure I’d make it my main coffee option.

   This isn’t a bad little single serve coffee pot. The max water level makes a decent sized mug. Getting the ratio of grinds to water down has been a journey, but the included strainer is pretty large so the strength can really be adjusted. There’s suction cups on the bottom and while that’s good to keep it from tipping over, it’s quite annoying when I want to move it. The two piece base allows me to get the cup close to the spout, but one annoyance is that at the end of brewing it sprays coffee all around the cup onto the counter. Not enough to make a real mess. Just enough to be annoying. You can also use any type pods you find and that’s a plus too..

    Lots of features with the little unit. As a K-Cup brewer this is a really neat machine that brews a HOT cup of coffee. It doesn’t have a cup size selection so only put enough water in for one cup. It does have an automatic shutoff when the water runs dry so only put in as much as you need. Think of it as a K-Cup brewer with a bonus drip brewer. It’s really nice that you have the option of using ground coffee in the interchangeable basket for loose grounds which can make up to two large cups of coffee. Also included is a storage container for grounds that doubles as a boost for smaller cups, or to store the unused grounds basket/K-Cup insert. The container doesn’t seal so other than temporarily on a counter I wouldn’t store grounds in it. It’s a great little machine for two or to take on a road trip.

    Overall, I think this would be an amazing coffee maker. Issue is it does not work well with pods… We have resorted to pouring the pod contents into the grounds insert to get the best flavor from things. If you want to use it for Hot Chocolate the grounds insert is 100% the way to go!!! The pictures are of Hot Chocolate, if we just put hot coco pods in there will be a lot of coco left in the pods and the cup will taste watery..

    The Homeleader single serve coffee maker is smaller in size , however its 1000W heater makes your coffee very quickly. There are adapters included that raise your specific size coffee cup to where you want it ! ( see pics for the largest and smallest setup). Also Included is the ground coffee adapter , just remove the K-cup holder , put your ground coffee into the adapter and insert into the coffee maker. Making single serve coffee is very easy and this product heats up very quickly and your coffee is ready in a very short time. Although not mentioned in the instructions or on the box, the manufacturer states that this coffee maker has been ETC tested and certified. The only minor issue is you must be careful filling the water reservoir, filling it too quickly will cause the water to flow into the front K-cup area and drip out or into your coffee pod .

    This coffee maker is a 2 in 1 so you can brew your k-cups or your regular ground coffee. I used k-cups at work before the pandemic and I liked that with a press of a button it would pour the right amount of water. Instead with this coffee maker I have to measure my own water. So, once you wrap that around your head you can automate your k-cup brewing process. For an 8oz cup I been using 6oz because I feel the coffee is too watery maybe is brand quality that has diminished or it could be the coffee maker. For ground coffee 14 oz of water seems good enough for your morning coffee. It is much faster than the regular pot type coffee maker. The taste is even a bit better and strong granted is like 3.5 cups vs the 4 cups of water from a small pot coffee maker.

    I bought this to replace a worn out product from a popular retailer. It looks nice on the counter and I do like that it has a water reservoir. What I don’t like s that the coffee splatters; the lid snaps closed instead of no snap and the drip catcher is always full. The previous one I had was only $10.00 but it wore out. I don’t think this pot is worth the money.

    We love this coffee maker and it does not take up a lot of counter space which is a plus. We have used it every day since receipt and the coffee is tasty and hot. Mostly, we use the 14 oz. cup size which is ready in less than 3 minutes. I have not used it yet for loose coffee but have used it for hot tea which is equally great tasting and hot. All of its features work well and we give it a five plus. Recommend product.

    Was looking for k-cup server something like the Keurig but no so big in size & not so expensive & this works for me – I’m able to use the mesh cup instead of for coffee grounds instead for my tea bags instead & it works good for that – & the capsule holder works good for k-cups – I did one for my hot chocolate k-cup & it worked good. The only thing I was very disappointed about was how it was shipped out – it was shipped out in the box it came in – so if someone saw the box setting & it showing that it was a coffeemaker – could have though hey I’m going to steal this from this location- so instead it should have been put inside another none describe box or bag so could not have seen what the item was setting there on the porch – so please make this change when shipping out others items so can’t see what the item is setting there on the porch – thank you

    This coffee maker is versatile and convenient. My favorite thing about it so far is how personalizable it can be. With this machine I can use the pods or I can just use ground coffee, thanks to the reusable filter included. I can also adjust the amount of coffee that I put in the filter. It comes with a mounting dripping tray that can be removed to make room for the tallest cups. The operating instructions are pretty straightforward: there’s only 2 buttons, one for each type of mode (pods or ground coffee). It is one touch and done; and it brews super fast. Unfortunately, it does not beep or warn the user about the water reaching the minimum required. I have to sit and watch it. The base of the coffee machine is anti-slip, that is a plus to me, it makes it safe to use in my busy counter, and it doesn’t take much space. About maintenance: I learned about the self cleaning function on the website, apparently for this function I would have to press both keys at the same time (haven’t tried that yet). No problem cleaning the reusable filter, I just have to wait for it to cool down. I am not sure if the seller offer a replacement for the filters… The water tank is transparent, with 14 oz capacity (decent size), and I find it convenient to be able to see how much water is left in it. However, I think it would have been nice if the reservoir was removable, it would be very annoying to clean this tank if there was sediment or mold on it. In addition to this, the lid for the water tank opens to the front, so it is kind of uncomfortable to fill. So far, I have used this machine on the Ground coffee mode only. I love that it is an affordable option for making coffee in a hurry, because it works fast and the flavor comes out perfect. I hope it lasts because I am planning to keep using it multiple times in the day.

    This is a review of the Homeleader Single Serve Coffer Maker for K-Cup and Ground Coffee. I’m not a coffee drinker, but I got this for guests and for myself to make hot chocolate. I’ve used the coffeemakers.us.com brand salted caramel hot chocolate pods and the first six worked beautifully. This machine was easy to use and easy to clean. It worked extremely quickly and heated the water to the perfect temperature. Unfortunately, after just six uses, the water reservoir started leaking, dripping down the outside and pooling water/chocolate on the counter. The inside where the pod was was also a mess, chocolate everywhere. (See photos.) Since I’ve used this brand of pods before, I can’t blame it on them. This machine is going straight to the trash. What a waste!

    The Homeleader single-serve coffee maker is just right for anyone who, like me, has limited counter space and/or enjoys one fresh cup of coffee in the morning. I’ve no room for a full-size coffee maker, but I discovered this little gem. It has suction cups on the bottom to keep it from sliding, a drip guard with catch containers, two various sizes that allow for height adjustment in mugs, and a filter for loose coffee grounds. On the side of the unit, you will notice measurements, make sure you measure according to your cup size. I just placed the water from my mug into the unit’s water reservoir to ensure the correct amount. I realized the first time I used the pot, the unit doesn’t shut off until the reservoir is empty. More water than necessary and you’ll be happy there is a spill container beneath. There are 2 start buttons, one for ground coffee and one for pods (capsules). It didn’t take long, plus the coffee was hot! Quick, easy, and fresh every time!

    It’s my first time using a 2-in-1 coffee maker. K-cups aren’t my preferred coffee style, but having the option is nice. I tested the ground coffee feature, and I can say I liked it. In the mornings, I usually have to wait for nearly 10 minutes with my other coffee maker to make a cup of coffee. The best feature of this coffee maker, in my opinion, is its practicality, it’s incredibly practical. I put enough coffee in the small forever filter for myself, and the brewing time is about a minute. The coffee quality is average; I didn’t have very high expectations, and it met my expectations. Cleaning is quite simple. The only disadvantage is that being a light-colored coffee maker, it looks dirty very quickly.
