However, does NOT include a strainer so coffee grinds are a slight problem… Also you must hold the top part of the plunger as you pour otherwise it will fall…

Love Spode and was very happy with the coffee pot. One thing to be careful of is the lid it’s a little bit loose from the mental plunger so maybe could break easy. Overall very pleased. Keeps the coffee hot and looks great on the table.

This product is terrible. The screen doesn’t fit the carafe properly so little bits of coffee grounds get into the coffee. The lid doesn’t secure to the carafe so when you try to pour coffee out the lid falls out along with the strainer and you burn your hands. It is the most poorly designed French press I’ve ever seen in my life. Cute design though.

Shipped quickly and is beautiful. Arrived completely broken and I had to return. Replacement arrived intact thanks to coffeemakers.us.com’s super easy return process. Interior box has nothing to protect the ceramic but second time was a charm and wasn’t broken. Bought as a Christmas gift so can’t speak for how well it works yet.

This is a beautiful cafetiere, my second one bought to replace one with a broken lid. The Blue Italian design with the domed lid is beautiful and the plunger and filter well made. It is delicate however, so be careful when washing and pouring. Definitely recommended.
