I could not figure out how to give it 0 stars. I finally finished using all my old filters with my Mr. Coffee machine today. I got out the Taylor Swoden Coffeemaker I purchased on September 7, 2022 and followed the instructions to be ready for tomorrow morning. I was trying to run the 1st 8 cups of clear water through as instructed. I pushed the On button, the blue light started flashing. I left the room and came back about 5 minutes later but nothing was happening. I waited some more time still nothing but the blue flashing light. I tried using the programming function-unit came on with blue flashing light but nothing happens after that. Unplugged the unit waited a while-repeated steps-nothing happens. I emptied the water out and checked when I purchased the unit and then saw a person has 30 days to return item- but it said it had a 2 year warranty. What do I do now. Thank you for your consideration in this matter. As you can see from the photos that the coffee machine has never been used before. (Brand New) Steve M.

Works as expected.
No manual needed to set the clock, set autostart. The dedicated buttons are simple and self-explanatory – there is no dumb programming menu to figure out and fuss with.
This is as easy as it gets.

The only caveat is that I use this to make tea, and the wide flat basket bottom is not well suited for that (as opposed to the conical ones). But for coffee this is just fine.

The ONLY reason this doesn’t get all stars is because when you go to pour from the coffee pot into a cup or the water into the reservoir, you have to pour incredibly slow of it spills out and gets all over the counter. Other than that, it is very lightweight, programmable function works fine, and the brew strength is great! It’s only been set up for a few days so I will update when it gets longer.

I would like to say how much I love this purchase, and I do, minus one annoying issue. You cannot pour without spilling all over the place. It just doesn’t allow for a streamline pour. There are added features to this pot that I do appreciate. The clock, the capacity, the brew time, and even the timer. I liked the fact that it came with a scoop and a filter. If I could just figure out the preferable way to pour a cup, I’d go from liking to loving.

Have never had a burner plate disintegrate. Little pieces of either metal or paint are coming off. I do not scrub or use chemicals on it. Feel like will have to replace soon. Does not keep coffee very warm when it sits. I like the programmable part. It works.

Shipped on time and in good condition, set up & use is easy. Comes with a reusable basket, so I don’t need filters. Cleans easy. Cons: Where the water comes out into the coffee basket gets lots of backsplash and I feel like it is always dirty (see the sprayer-looking thing in the pics). You have to pour the pot slowly because if you pour into your cup fast, it spills – I am not coordinated enough for this in the morning, so it’s a pain. The stopper for the “pause” is a bit loose and leaky sometimes, and you have to wiggle the pot to get it out while it’s brewing. In the end, it’s a coffee pot. It’s useable and fine – meh. This is not rocket science.

Makes coffee as it should. It’s a little difficult filling with water as the lid is hinged on the back and has a plastic attachment ( for stopping grounds from splashing up I assume) that makes it tight for pouring in the water. It has a reusable filter which I prefer.

I really like this coffee maker. I’ve had it almost 2 years, and while I don’t use it everyday, it is serving me well. I love the reusable filter, the fact that you can make up to 12 cups at once, and the 2 hour hot plate auto turn off feature. I’ve read some reviews talking about leaking, but I have not experienced this problem. Although, regarding pouring water into the machine, I do think it’s easier to pour into the left section rather than the right (video attached, but please excuse the not-yet-emptied used coffee grounds and dripping carafe that I just rinsed 🙃). I also included a photo with an egg carton as a size reference lol. Overall, as a single person who doesn’t like complicated appliances, I really like this simple coffee maker. Simple to brew, clean, set the time, keep warm, and is a fair price.

No doubt this is super cute. Love the color. But it is poor quality… it’s made of flimsy plastic and the screen is difficult to read when the certain buttons are lit (there’s a faint glow from the other buttons so you can’t tell which ones are lit while programming) It did come with a reusable basket with I like but again poor quality. **Edit- I’ve it one time and just realized the (1) on the hour doesn’t even show up. What I like? Programmable, nice that coffee is ready when I go to kitchen in the morning. The strong brew setting really makes a difference. What do I not like? I think this is an issue with all these types of carafes, they spill easily when pouring! Need to rethink that design! Should not matter how fast or how slow, I pour a cup of coffee, it should not end up, dripping down the side of the carafe and onto the counter. The only other thing that is awkward, is reaching the water reservoir to fill it. Would be nice if it had a pop out, side door, instead of having to go through the brew mechanism.

Okay. Only used once. It’s light mint green. I was looking at deeper aquas, and pinks; but there were bad reviews, or they were too expensive, or too big for my limited counter space. (Some pod users are incredibly small!) I already purchased a pink one for pods and a one cup basket. But I wanted something for when I want to make more coffee at once. And smell it when I wake up! Or percolate it for a change. My daughter prefers that. I love Donut Shop pods, but they are expensive! This one is programmable, which is nice. And it’s more compact, and cheaper than some of the other ones like that! Although it’s still a decent size. And turns out the light mint matches my cabinets perfectly! I did my whole apartment and kitchen Shabby Chic pink and aqua, with Paris roses. I was looking for those colors. Reviews tend to be confusing, though. Some people love things, and other people have problems. This had a nice color, features, size, price, and enough good reviews, to make me give it a try. And it’s even a 12 cup! (I was at looking five cups originally, to save space.) Well only brewed one pot so far. (Plus a plain water first for cleaning.) I had no problem pouring the water into to the little spaces in the back on both sides. Not until that last little bit! Then it spilled a little bit. Even going to the left side. Just have a dish towel ready. I found that going forward to the narrow part towards the end helps, because the pot is then very vertical. I wiped off the extra drips on the burner, because for some reason it does a little when you’re putting the carafe in. And then it sizzles for a little bit. Not a real big deal! But I didn’t want problems, so I wiped it with a dish towel. No biggie! No water coming out of the machine. I use tap water. And the carafe is fine! I don’t know if they changed it, but it’s a normal thickness carafe, Not fragile. And the spout works fine! No dribble, thank God, pouring; cuz I hate that! So I definitely think it’s a great value for the money. I will update if it breaks down the road. It comes with a little scooper. Now I used four for four cups. Perhaps was a little weak. Maybe I’ll add one for the pot, as my dad used to say, next time. There’s also a strong coffee option. But for now, after returning a pink one that was 12 cups cuz it was just too big for me! This one got my little rose sticker of approval. Lol. Has to be Shabby Chic and pretty, to be on my counter! For some reason it will not let me post a picture at this time! *Update. It did sizzle the first few times. I realized from a tiny bit of coffee dripping out as it’s brewing. The star shaped holes on the pot lid and spring mechanism on the machine, where the coffee drips out has to mesh, I think. I found pushing the handle of the pot back helped. But it didn’t do it today! Also, I wipe the bottom of the carafe off first with a dry dish towel after filling, because people complain the burner rusts after awhile. I dry both. It’s easy. And you can just have it ready and turn it on in the morning, rather than programming. The sizzling on the burner was the only problem, when it’s first brewing. A little loud. But may have stopped. But I just wipe the burner off with a damp sponge when it’s cool, so it doesn’t rust. I don’t use it every day. I use my pods too. The light is a little bright at night, not blinding. I just turn the kitchen light on! The color actually matches perfectly! Use plain water twice first to clean. It says periodic cleaning with a little vinegar in water, and it has a clean setting. If the burner starts rusting in a few months, I will update. That’s the only thing they need to fix, I think!

The product does what it’s supposed to. However, these things I don’t like: * Water container is blocked by the sprayer in the middle, making it hard to pour water into receptacle without spilling or needing a funnel. * Somehow coffee grounds get all over the filter holder at top edge. * Most irritating is the pot itself refuses to pour without a portion of your coffee running down the side of the mug. Mess everytime. I somewhat remedy this with a knife or straw at the pour spot to guide water. In general, this is yet another cheap plastic product. Rather than using a reliable durable metal, we get plastic. This seems to be unavoidable without making your own coffee maker unfortunately. I did not have these problems with the Mr Coffee maker. However, I had to scrap the working Mr Coffee maker because I couldn’t find a compatible decanter. coffeemakers.us.com sold me one that was too short which then allowed the flow to continue when the pot was removed.

Purchased this coffee pot 3 months ago. Husband uses it once in the morning and once in the evening. The heating element completely stopped working!! Does not make coffee or heat up. You can see the light is on and the coffee pot is filled with water. So it should be brewing coffee now. NOPE completely NOT working at all as you see!
