    I gave this 4 stars BECAUSE the box says 6 cups, the coffeemakers.us.com page says 32oz (which in my calculation, as well as most of those who can do math is 4 cups – but that was plenty for me so I went for it) but when I made my coffee the first time, I put 4 scoops of coffee in for 4 cups then added my hot water (which I microwaved in a 4 cup Pyrex – this is just for the trial run mind you) and started pouring … only 3 cups of water fit! Soooo – love the look, made great coffee (which is the main point), kept it hot (and I took 3 hours to drink it) and cleaned easily, but if you expect 6 “cups” and are ok with a 4oz “cup” OR if you are ok with 2 great 12oz mugs of coffee then you are all set and this is the one for you. BUT If you want actual 32oz +, buy the larger FP. But ultimately this is a great little press and works for what I needed and looks pretty while doing so… so it’s a keeper for me!

No rust, no broken handles, no gritty grounds (use coarse grounds made for French press) – don’t let negative nellies keep you from the best press you’re ever going to own.     I really wanted to love this French press. It has a beautiful design, but there are a few design flaws IMHO. 1. Nut at bottom of plunger rusts after only a few uses which leads me to believe that all parts are NOT stainless steel. 2. Filter leaves something to be desired, perhaps they should include a double filter for fine sediment. For the price, I would have thought I would have been getting a fine quality press. I ended up returning it and buying one for $15 cheaper that worked much better.

    I really wanted to like it. I broke my 35 yr old glass press and decided to see if this keeps things hotter. Yes, a bit hotter, a bit longer. However, it left a LOT of grounds in each cup. You can even feel the grit as you drink. I take my coffee with cream so it’s very obvious. I’ve been grinding beans and pressing for 35 yrs, I know the proper sized grind to use. This has never happened in my old pot. Ever. Sadly, I’m returning this nice looking, but bad performing pot.

    This french press coffee pot works better than any I’ve ever had. When I measure the water from my large coffee cup and then brew the coffee, the coffee measures out the same. The plunger goes all the way down and there’s none that you can’t get out and have to toss. It is also so easy to clean and beautiful. It is small, but there’s only one of me, so it’s just right. Also, it won’t break like glass ones that I’ve broken in the past. I would definitely buy this coffee pot again, but I plan on having this one for quite a while.

    Was looking for a 2-4 cup coffee maker and just couldn’t find one I liked and stumbled upon the bodum French press but didn’t want to pay the $50 price tag so found this one and it is just Beautiful and no different than the more expensive brand Made my first cup of coffee and the smell filled the room as it was brewing after pouring in the water over the grounds. I let it sit for 5-7 minutes (I like a bolder taste) and poured my first cup and it was delicious. So easy to use and the pot keeps it hot till you do our and drink it all It makes 2-3 cups depending on how big your coffee cups are. I love the simplicity of this along with the beauty of the pot Couldn’t be happier
