    So far so good, I’m new to the espresso hobby but this grinds uniform coffee dust that appears to be correct for esspesso pucks.
    I’ve only had it a few days but it works better then the Bodum burr grinder it’s replacing.

    First off you don’t get to choose the amount of coffee you want to grind. The power on button just stays on until you turn it off. Luckily it’s not too loud because it keeps raining until you hit the off button. Also the collection cup has cup markings but you can’t see it because it’s dark from the coffee and the static is so bad that it gets all over the place, and it’s hard to push the cut back in because the grinds are all over it, as you can see in the picture.. and before I return this I noticed that they’re going to charge you 3 different fees, if you’ve used the product which as you see, I’ll probably have to pay for

    Update: I was using Melitta whole bean coffee and had no issues with static until I tried Lavazza whole bean last month. Now, I have the awful static mess that others are reporting. I can’t imagine that the brand of beans has anything to do with static. So weird. I need to figure out how to prevent this static somehow.
    Original review: The collection container isn’t static free like the upgraded model, but I have zero issues with mess. I just tap the outside of cup with my fingers a couple times before I remove it, and no mess (I only grind a 1/2 cup of beans at a time so that may be why). I LOVE this grinder and highly recommend it!

    After a good 9-10 months of use, I can say that I would not recommend this grinder. Just for a pour over I have to twist the top to the mocca setting to get a somewhat decent grind for my pour over. Mocca is supposed to make fine grind coffee…. There are still big chunks of beans that come through. That just ends up leaving your coffee to taste bitter once brewed. Also, it leaves lots of static. I’ve passed the return window so I can’t unfortunately return it. I saved up to buy a conical burr grinder so now it feels like a waste of money :/

    Works fine as long as you wait a bit, in between batches and allow unit to cool down, as the motor does tend to get quite warm. People complain about messiness, I just found by turning tumbler upside down and patting it, all grounds fall into receptacle and not a problem.

    I Really like the device: Big Bean Basket but the Assemble Instructions Don’t show Where to put the Orange Silicone Ring. I show where I put it and that works but I don’t know if that is correct BECAUSE there is NO Customer Service Phone Number! and you Cannot Gmail Chat/Ask unless you Susbribe And Agree to Cookies!!!!

    Had it for maybe two months, worked fine initially and the. It just conked out. Machine runs, nothing grinds. Have disassembled, cleaned, etc. but doesn’t matter. All I was doing was grinding regular coffee bean in it, like you’re supposed to do. Have concluded this is cheap ripoff junk, will go look at some vendors who actually focus on delivering something quality with focus in coffee instead of every possible machine out there.

    It grinds the coffee just fine, but if you’re looking for a machine that’s gong to build static electricity in the beans so that when you try to empty the container that flies all over the countertop this is the one. Can’t recommend this machine . Clearly it’s not wired properly and grounded.

    So far so good! Got this for Christmas and I really love it! It’s a little loud when it grinds your whole beans but I don’t mind it too much. You can choose to use ground coffee and bypass the whole bean grinder if you’d like. Only one complaint is that it displays in Military time and doesn’t have an option to switch to civilian time. I don’t know military times and have to look it up when I want to set automatic brewing. 😝

    The design of this thing is so bad that every time i grind beans and take out the powder, it goes all over the table. I mean what the actual ****. Who designed this thing? Along with the caption “tough tools, half price”, they should add “half coffee” also because you’d lose of the powder after going through it.

    I’ve had this for about two weeks now. It makes good coffee but here are a few things I have issues with. Filling the water is a little tricky. I have to pull the unit out and turn it to fill the water reservoir. You also have to be a good aim to get the water in. The other problem is that there is no keep warm feature. Once it brews the heat pad only stays on for 30 minutes. I’ve been hitting the brew button after 30 minutes with the grind button off to get the pad to heat up again. I’m thinking this is not good as the upper brew element is probably heating up with no water going through it. Might burn the heat element up. So now I have to microwave my new cup coffee after 30 minutes. Oh and one last thing. It states not to grind, use, dark roast beans. I have been using dark roast but not issues YET.
