It took a couple of attempts to get the amount of coffee right so that it would drip through, but it was well worth the learning curve. The coffee has a wonderful flavor and mixed with sweetened condensed milk and ice makes a great iced coffee treat.

The only issue that I have with this coffee phin is the screw in filter. I prefer the drop-in filter. When making Vietnamese coffee, I like to see my coffee bloom, before placing the filter. This is practically difficult with a screw in filter. If this is not an issue for you, then this phin is fine.

I appreciate how much coffee this one can hold, however it was difficult finding a glass mug that it would fit on. I also wish they offered this large size with a screw type filter. If not precise it can get kind of messy… Practice makes perfect!
