- [ALL-IN-ONE] Brew and drink from a single device with the Pipamoka all-in-one nomadic coffee maker. Simple, sturdy and brilliant pressure brewer, it becomes super easy and quick to fuel your days and enjoy hours of hot, freshly-brewed coffee during your commutes, work hours or adventures.
- [THE TWO MINUTES BREW] Its patented construction, paired with its innovative twisting mechanism, generates vacuum pressure inside the mug. This negative pressure generated a suction force that draws hot water downwards through the coffee grounds. Engineered to brew a consistently clean, full-flavored cup of joe in about two minutes, the Pipamoka’s vacuum pressure brewing method sets it apart from other devices.
- [HOW DOES VACUUM PRESSURE WORK] ADD:Fill the water chamber and drop the coffee basket into it. Let it sink to the bottom. TWIST:Turn the ring to create vacuum pressure that draws the water down through the grounds. ENJOY:When the water chamber has fully risen, remove the brewer, add the lid and enjoy a hot coffee for hours.
- [LEAVE NO WASTE BEHIND] The stainless steel micro-filter is re-useable, meaning there is no excess waste created from having to use one-time-use paper filters. Fine mesh filter :250μm
- [REMARK] Pipamoka does not heat up water. Brew ratio is similar to standard drip or infusion methods, close to 1:15 (1 g of coffee ground for 15 mL of water). We recommend using a medium to medium-fine grind for optimal brewing performance.

Let me just say right off the bat that I don’t drink coffee. However, I really, really enjoy making coffee for my significant other (I still taste test). For the home we have a Chemex, but needed something that would work well for camping (the single pour over baggies and the French press just weren’t working). We don’t need to look any further. This thing is amazing!!! The coffee is consistently delicious and easy to make if you follow the simple steps (which only take tops 2 times to remember). Aside from making a perfectly extracted cup of coffee, keeping said coffee warm on a cold camping morning and being able to grab the cup and go for a hike is just awesome. We looked at the AeroPress, but what sold us was the heat retention of the cup and how compact the entire contraption was, no need for anything additional cups. I have seen a couple of reviews where folks had trouble turning it. This has only happened to me once (and even then my 8 y/o could still turn it) and I think it has to do with the way the pod is situated. Just make sure ALL the bubbles are out before starting the extraction. Don’t hesitate. I promise you won’t be disappointed!!! p.s. For the manufacturer reading this… the only thing that would make this even better than perfect would be a lid that has a sippy opening.

I just lived through a 4 day power outage….without this coffee maker…not sure how I would have survived….I LOVE my coffee!!! I took the Keurig K cups and opened them…put the coffee in the special filter and YUM….what a great cup of coffee. Easy to use and clean….Just ordered a second for my cabin as it loses power a lot….If you can boil water…you can make a great cup of coffee….They have instructions for cold press coffee as well…….I also order the extra filters and case……so worth it!

I love travel gadgets and this is one of them. I’ve made about 9 cups since I received it and all have been equal. The screw on lid keeps it hot and safe from spills and keeps your coffee hot for quite a while. You can get a hand and forearm work out using this, but it’s worth it. I find holding the cup and turning the orange ring started causing a sore spot on the side of my index finger. I find holding the ring steady and turning the cup counterclockwise has resolved that issue. Older people or people with soft hands, like office workers, may find this info handy. I do have to stop maybe twice during the process because it gets a little tough to turn. You will know when your getting close to completing the process when you start to hear a squeaking noise from the from plunger gasket in the cup and then when done, the orange turning ring turns easily. At this point gently pull the threaded tube to the side and the seal breaks. Easy cleanup after that. I use this travel cup at work and it’s really handy if you have access to hot water. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Dropping the coffee puck into the cup and watching it sink is so satisfying. A big part of enjoying coffee is making it and this gizmo is going to be great for camping. The extraction is similar to an aeropress where water is sucked over the coffee grounds. It makes a great cup! The coffee stays hot for hours when using the lid. I have several Wacaco products and they are all awesome.

I loved this product. So easy to use and quick to set up. You do need to ensure that you keep turning the press portion to ensure that all the water has filtered through the coffee before you can remove it. If you try and remove it too soon, one it will become difficult and if you force it, you might have an accidental spill.
My coffee tasted great with no extra granules inside. The cup is a great added bonus that kept my coffee hot for at least thirty minutes, great value for money and so easy to clean. I just run it under a running tap, very portable too for travel.

The PipaMoka allows me to make a good cup of coffee quickly, and all that’s needed is some hot water. The quality of Wacaco equipment is outstanding. Pushing the water through the grinds with vacuum suction speeds up the brewing process (my Vietnamese coffee maker, which I love, takes about 5 minutes for 100 ml of coffee). In my view, the great advantage over the Aeropress is the fact that the system is closed so to speak. Everything is inside a sealed container and you only have to turn the orange ring to pull the vacuum (note: this actually takes some strength). With the Aeropress, you have to push down hard with a device that’s just propped up on some arbitrary mug. I also like the fact that the coffee accumulates in a double walled thermo mug, keeping it warm, in case you brew and then take the sealed container away, say to a meeting. The filter basked is of high quality, easy to load, and easy to clean. The plastic is generally of high quality (the grey and orange colour arrangement makes it look though as if it was hacked together from some Gardena garden watering equipment :-).
