A great little coffee pot for 1-2 cups of coffee. I’m the only coffee drinker in my household so I usually just use a single serve pod coffee maker, but sometimes I just want drip coffee or not have to wait to brew a second cup. This 5 cup brewer doesn’t take up much space. The basket comes off for easy cleaning. The operation is just one switch for on and off. It is equal in convenience and brew taste to my pod coffee maker, just an another option. It makes a good gift for a college student going away. You can hear it working but it’s not too loud. I purchased some paper filters for a few bucks. In terms of total value it is cheaper to make coffee this way versus pods but that is not my reason for wanting this. The capacity is 5 cups although that brings it to the rim so 4 is a good amount. This little machine brews an excellent cup of coffee and I would definitely recommend if it fits your needs.

Arrived on time, and well packaged. The coffee maker has a great finish to it, and looks much more expensive than it cost. PERFECT GIFT for anyone, including yourself!

  • Loving my Nutrichef Nitro keg! We have been making our own cold brew for the last few years and wanted to up it to the next level - Nitro was the way! Super easy to assemble, takes a full carafe of my BodyBrew cold brew maker and one and half N2O chargers to prep it. Delicious!!!

I really loved this item and wanted to give it five stars...I love cold brew...low acidity...smooth flavor and strength of the brew. This product was relatively easy to clean and the perfect shape for my fridge, so I used to count it as one of my most prized kitchen tools. However, after three months of use I see the glass begin to give way close to the rim. I always put it away after wiping dry so it was never on a dish rack, and I don't have a dishwasher, but the lid is tight so it always felt like it was applying pressure to the rim when I attached the lid on. I was so upset the other day when I saw it but chalked up a little crack to wear and tear and made one last brew, but obviously adding the lid again put more pressure and it further cracked. I am afraid to use it further so no more cold brew. For 18-19 bucks I think 3 months of use is too little. I would hope I just got a defective one, but am a bit wary.

Easy to hook up. Don't need to fill a water tank. You can take the carafe to the other room and it stays hot for hours. I did get an extra carafe so I can rotate when we have company over. Very happy so far.

  • I love that this coffee maker comes apart to put in the dishwasher and the coffee is fine. However, after a few months the ‘brew now’ button started to stick, until now I have to fiddle with it to get it to go on. Also the valve that releases the coffee into the carafe sometimes sticks and I have to stay with it and jiggle it around or I will end up with a coffee mess on the counter dripping onto the floor. So I’m out of the return window and after owning the coffee maker for seven months I have to buy a new one!

This is the first time I spent this kind of money on a coffee maker. My last coffee maker lasted 7 yrs and cost me $50. The only reason I got rid of it was that it was looking nasty and started to rust. So for this Ninja, everything seems to work. I am not one for the fancy coffee or expresso. I drink a lot of coffee and prefer it hot and strong. I use half cup of coffee for one cup of coffee. So for that purpose it works well. I am hoping to get the longevity out of it that I got out of my old cheap coffee maker. I will update this review in a few months. Update: So I have started having issues with this coffeemaker. I attempt to make a cup of coffee. It acts like it wants to brew. All of a sudden everything starts flashing and it shuts down. For the money I would have expected better quality from Ninja. Here after months its been nothing but problems. As I stated before I had a cheap coffeemaker that lasted yrs. SO DO YOU SELF A FAVOR, SAVE YOU MONEY AND DO NOT PURCHASE.

  • Makes very good coffee. I changed over to this drip coffee maker because of health risks associated with using a French Press. This drip coffee is as good, without the risks. Tastes great, and the coffee maker is easy to clean. This 1000 ml coffee maker produces 3 normal size mugs of coffee, enough so that you might need to keep it hot to avoid reheating, and it is here that this product has an issue. Once you remove the glass top piece that holds the filter full of grounds, the metal bottom is an odd shape that is ugly, and very awkward to handle and pour from. My solution was to buy a #13 size rubber plug (also on coffeemakers.us.com), leave the top piece on, and after removing the filter, use the rubber plug to seal off the hot coffee. Easier to pour and better looking. A $5 solution, and it keeps the coffee maker small and easier to store than ones that come with a handle. So it’s a good $15 coffee maker, but a much better $20 coffee maker once you add the plug. Go ahead. Live a little. Bezos probably could use the extra money.

  • I bought this for myself as a birthday present as it had a great sale price. I love it. The frother is super convenient and it makes great coffee. I’ve had a Nespresso for a couple of years that came with a separate frother that I never used. My non-frothing days ended with this. BONUS - the frother is self cleaning. It takes longer to warm up when making the coffee, but I’m used to that now. Totally recommend this machine. It’s a step up from my first Nespresso Vertuo machine.

Great coffee maker. It's easy to use and the temperature of the brewed coffee is ideal. The only drawback was that after 3 years it stopped functioning and it was due to scale buildup. We sent it in to the manufacturer and they said keep it descaled. However, there are no easy ways to keep any autofill coffee makers from scale buildup even with an inline filter. Most coffee makers require descaling twice a year in addition to using an inline filter. My husband put together a simple container that can be filled with citric acid powder mix that enters the entire system (he fills it 3 times and fills to 5 cup mark). The container has threaded ends for opening/sealing. After the third run through the system he removes the container, reconnects the lines to the original filter, and stores the container until next scheduled descaling. It works great.

  • It not only serves its purpose as a coffee maker but you can also use it to make a cup of tea which is nice. Also the build quality is great!

This is also great for loose leaf tea. I had a strainer in the middle that filters out the tea leaves. Great for the flavored teas, Raspberry, Peach and Blueberry. Make a good size portion. Make strong and add some water into a pitcher.

  • I love it !!

  • The color I bought is called putty. I included pics because the coffeemakers.us.com pics made the color seem towards a tan, when it is really more a grey. The last pic is a cream colored mug by it for contrast. Coffee makers have different pros or cons depending on a given preference. This is why I bought this one and like it: 1. Very small footprint. This gives 12 cups of coffee, while consuming very little counter space 2. Brew delay feature to allow coffee to start went you want (like right before you wake up) 3. Easy functionality. The delayed brew should be 1 button instead of 2, but otherwise this is superbly straightforward 4. Carafe pours perfectly. No drips, no weirdness 5. No need for paper filters 6. Design is rather cute 7. Easy enough to clean
