This is a very basic single serve coffee maker. I like the reusable basket, and that I can fit any of my mugs in it. I would fill the water and coffee at night, then flip the switch, before I went to the bathroom, and it would be ready when I was. I’m not sure if it takes a long time, because I was never waiting for it to get done. It was just what I needed, until I got coffee in the water section and gently rinsed it out, and it never heated again. 2 weeks is not long enough for any item to take up space in the landfill, no matter how cheap it is to buy.
