   Like it very much. We bought a new home and we needed a coffee pot and I bought this one because the price was right. I like it very much because as long as you keep the button on you always have a nice hot cup of coffee. Even when I turned it off and later on that day put it back on it warmed the coffee that was left in the pot for a nice hot cup of coffee. Would highly recommend this pot. I think it is a much better buy than the higher priced coffee pots. It does not have a timer but my other coffee pot does and I never use it so having no timer is good for me. If you want a timer than this one is not for you.

   If you’re looking for an inexpensive, no frlls coffee maker, this item is an ideal choice. No clock, no gadgets or gizmos. Only an off/on switch. It makes it’s full capacity (12 cups) in only a few minutes. The power cord is very short however,
   so it needs to be located close to an outlet (unless you have an extension cord
   handy). This item is dependable and very easy to use. A good product at a good
   price. If you’re shopping for something basic and easy to use, you can’t go
   wrong with this.

   Can anyone tell me WHY coffeemakers.us.com would ship me a used coffeemaker? I opened the box for the Mr. Coffee and found coffee stains and grounds on the plastic. But, being in a pinch (new house, chaos) we decided to clean the coffeemaker and use it, since we didn’t have time to ship it back and deal with the hassle. THEN, we realized why the FIRST person who bought the coffeemaker returned it: It did not stop dispensing coffee when we pulled pot away from burner, despite a little nub on top of the pot top that was supposed to control dispensing into pot. So we had coffee all over the burner and counter.

   What a piece of crap.
   What a piece of BS that coffeemakers.us.com would actually ship us a USED coffeemaker.

   I previously owned a Mr. Coffee 12-Cup Coffeemaker and thought I was buying a replacement. My old one automatically shut itself off after about 2 hours. I liked that feature so I did not forget and burn the coffee which is a real mess to clean if it happens.
   I also thought the automatic shutoff was a safety feature and because I was used to it turning itself off I am concerned that now I will forget to turn it off. Otherwise, it makes good coffee and we use it every morning.

   Simple, no fuss. No extra “features”, just durable and easily cleaned and makes great coffee. No silly foil packets or plastic containers to create waste and cost a fortune. Makes simple, straight-forward pot of coffee. Gets used two to five times a day, average of three. The previous ones have lasted us for three or so years of that kind of (ab)use. This one is actually a replacement for one that had a slow leak from the water reservoir. Promptly replaced by coffeemakers.us.com. All of our previous coffee makers suffered deteriorating hot plates. Since they are similar to an electric stove heating element I am not surprised. Those fail over time as well. We also live in a high iron content area, this requires regular cleaning with vinegar. But it all takes a toll. For the price and simplicity it can’t be beat.

   Simple, reliable no-brainer machine that gets the job done perfectly every time. Bonus: this appliance is so inexpensive you can just buy a new one instead of using $5 worth of CLR to clean out inevitable alkaline (hard water) build-up. This is my third one in as many years, and 3 of these Mr. Coffee’s are half the price of one fancy Keurig! Oh, yeah, and this real simple appliance (simple = less to go wrong) also happens to make great-tasting coffee.
