I will never buy this product again. I was so pleased with the first one I bought two more to give away as gifts. It is not obvious but there are two walls to the container it just looks like it’s thick glass. on two of the containers The inside glass developed a leak into the outside glass so coffee grounds and coffee leaked in between the two walls and when you soak it in water just adds soapy water to the muck. Since it is such a slow leak we tried making a quick cup of coffee and emptying it but the soap suds came up into the inner chamber. This happened 40 days after purchase and we are not allowed to return it after 30 days. So far this had happened to two out of the three purchased. Not a good testimony for any product.

The little hole in the bottom was a surprise. I understand why it’s there, but if you set the thing down in any liquid while it’s hot, it will suck that liquid between the two walls where you can’t clean it. Works great, just looks dirty.

From after the first time I used it there’s been a small droplet of water inside the double walls, not sure if it came that way originally or if somehow water manages to seep in, but it’s stayed put ever since. There’s no obvious holes/gaps/seams, but the issue is a cosmetic one that’s somewhat annoying once you notice it.

you can use to prepare coffe at French style, o simply to prepare <cafe con leche> , better if you use milk powder. You can put the milk below, add the coffe, and mix using the device. You are gonna have a coffe with milk, creamy and free of grume. Delicious!

I’m an engineer and just had to marvel at the simplicity and beauty of this device. The all glass construction is beautiful. I just fill it with water and put in the microwave to heat. The insulated glass is great for keeping coffee hot for a long time.
