This makes excellent coffee! The previous reviewer just doesn’t understand their machine… when you press the brew button, it isn’t automatic, the water needs to come to temp,; once it reached temp, it will start to brew. Why does everyone expect things to happen immediately? It’s worth the wait sometimes… as I said, excellent coffee!

The most important thing to do with this machine is to keep it clean, and use clean filtered water every time you run it. I grind my own beans and I add a dash of kosher salt to the grind. Takes out any bitterness from the beans.

This Wilfa coffee maker was reviewed by James Hoffman and I was tired of Keurig Pod dullness, so I bought the Wilfa. So far, I’m impressed. It delivers making very good coffee. The build quality is excellent, it looks great on the counter, and is clearly high quality. It makes two to four cups of coffee quickly and the simple interface – a single button – is exactly what I was looking for. Though I prefer the glass carafe over a thermos, the carafe is fragile so I have ordered a backup carafe. Highly recommend.
