   I like many things about this French Press: It’s pretty much unbreakable. It keeps the coffee warm a bit longer than the glass ones. Fairly easy to clean.
   Things that are a minor disappointment: It doesn’t actually hold 34 ounces, because, with the grounds floating on top of the water, you need to stir the grounds down and add more water & still can only fit around 30 ounces without some coffee leaking out of the spout…after you press it down.
   My wife and I have 16 ounce coffee cups and so 30 ounces makes a bit less in each cup. We only drink one of the 16 ounce cups per day, though & French Press coffee…made properly…has the highest caffeine content of any brewing style. I’m lit for a couple more hours longer than drip coffee. It’s also about the ritual: the right coarse grind + the right amount of beans + the right temperature of the water & the right amount of time before pressing. Do it right and it’s a great cup of coffee!

   This pot is perfect for French press coffee. It’s super easy to use, very easy to clean and makes the best coffee. The handle is very comfortable and comes with a measuring scoop and extra mesh filter. It is also beautiful to look at with a black body with a Rose gold plunger. I make this pot when I need to make two cups of coffee or three little cups.

   I bought this because I knocked over my press and it broke. I got it in literally two days which is unheard of where I live. This press is beautiful to look at… very art deco designed. It is sturdy and easy to use and clean.
   Kept my coffee hot for over an hour.
   If I were to give you one piece of advice when using a french press is get something long like a chop stick or a kabob stick or even just a butter knife and stir after you put the water and coffee in before you put the plunger down. It aids in the brewing of the coffee and makes pushing the plunger much easier.
   I am glad I bought this product and would buy again but hoping I do not have to lolol

   A good alternative if you do not want to make a large pot of coffee/tea. The press is easy to use. The coffee/tea has a good flavor perhaps better than a large pot, because it is a small amount so does not sit in the pot for a lengthy period before consumption. The beverage stays warm if it cannot be immediately enjoyed. The small size press fits well in the top rack of the dishwasher, and cleans nicely. I also appreciate the extra screens for use when the original screen wears and needs replacement.

    A few annoying things, but altogether fine. Nice size for 2 small cups in the morning. Pros: -It’s not glass and doesn’t shatter when I drop it in the sink while doing dishes. Woo! -It came with 4 little filters. -The two metal pieces that hold the filters can be tightened from the top AND bottom with a cool little mechanism, so the filters are always tight. This is nice. Cons: -The most annoying thing is that when you unscrew the bottom part to clean the filters and two metal parts that hold it on, it is a pain to unscrew. Since the top “knob” of the plunger also unscrews, sometimes that wants to unscrew instead of the bottom. Just a little PITA I don’t love every morning. -The plunger makes an annoying loud *clank* sound when you let it slide up or down that is more annoying than other french presses in my life. Again, another unwelcome thing inthe morning. I put a rubber band under the top part of the plunger so it at least doesn’t clank when it slides one way. -On mine, the “knob” of my plunger that you push down is welded crookedly (see pic). That is not a big problem, but just shoddy craftsmanship. -It doesn’t insulate the coffee as well as I’d hoped. I wasn’t expecting hydroflask-level insulation, but even so, it’s pretty poor insulator. Nothing a towel blanket can’t fix to keep your 2nd cup warm.

    It is very nice looking. I like that it has multiple screens, which help keep the fine stuff out. It is double walled but I wish the walls were more insulating. The pot does get hot but keeps the coffee warm longer if it were glass or single walled. I would definitely buy again.

    As you can see in the pictures, while the top volume capacity may be 1.5L, at best, you could only brew about 1.3L of coffee. The picture with the filter/screen shows how much space is needed for the insulated top. Aside from the misleading capacity, the unit is nicely polished and appears to be made well, however, if you are purchasing this unit as a large (1.5L) French press, it falls short.

    I purchased the 50 oz version of thi shiny stainless French press, to make my pour over coffee into, so it will stay hot and look elegant while serving 3-4 people. I can only make 1 liter (34 oz) of hot water at a time in my red kettle, so I first had planned to get the 34 oz version. I thought the 50 oz would be ridiculously large for 34 oz of coffee. But it’s actually perfect. See my photo where I’ve put one liter of hot water from my red electric kettle into the 50 oz version of this French press. It gives me some room to spare, without being too much room where the coffee might cool off too fast, or where the pouring carafe would seem huge and cumbersome. Compare this to the 34 oz version, which would very nearly overflow with 34 oz poured into it. WAIT FOR A SALE PRICE: there seem to be many vendors offering near identical 304 stainless French presses, so I waited and shopped for a sale. I got this 50 oz version for under $20, given a 30% coupon in addition to $5 off in a lightning sale. The other brand with equivalent sale prices recently is Secura. NOT MARKED 304: Why no mark for the 304 stainless material? Is this actually 304 stainless? Who knows? Most quality stainless items will be stamped with their stainless makeup. The fact that there are no markings on this press regarding this metal content leads me to wonder at the quality of this material. Note: the Secura brand stainless French presses *do* have an engraved stainless mark on the bottom. INTERIOR VOLUME SCALE MARKINGS SEEM ACCURATE: of all the similar stainless French presses on coffeemakers.us.com, this is the only one I found with an ounce and milliliter scale printed inside. I did a general accuracy check by pouring a measured 16 oz into the press three times. The water line lined up with the 32 and the 48 oz markings, as expected. I always pre-measure the water I need before boiling, so I don’t need to watch inside the pot as I make my pour over coffee. All in all, this makes an elegant thermally efficient carafe for making a small pot of pour over coffee, and should be tidy and convenient to bring along into hotel rooms, for when I need to make more than just coffee for myself.
