   The French press is as good as you can expect from yeti. Good build quality. Looks good and it keeps temperature long time. The only issue I see is the amount of coffee left behind (about half a cup) you can’t pour it out

   The ceramic coating is a big plus, especially dealing with an acidic liquid and cleanup as coffee can stain things easily. It keeps the liquid hot for hours! This opens up many opportunities to steep at a lower temperature than boiling reducing the “burnt” taste, reducing some bitterness, allowing refinement to the coffee produced, similar to what the process of cold brewing offers-different grind sizes, longer extraction times allowing very smooth coffees. This opens a world of opportunities for the knowledgeable coffee connoisseur to adapt their brewing to the batch of coffee beans. And the bigger size means 1 brew cycle for a small group with a great brew process, not multiple brews plus allowing small brews with one French press device. The filters work great, the pour spout works great-don’t understand some complaints about the spout as every French press has some form of pour adapting. Plusses much greater than a minus.

   Great French press. Retains heat fairly well and the build quality is top notch. Additionally, the metal filter on the press works great and minimizes silt.

   However, the pour spout retains liquid after pouring and drips down the side of the press and on the surface it’s sitting on. Hence the 4 stars. For this price point, it should be perfect but it has a simple design flaw. That aspect is rather disappointing.

   I’m not big on paying the “Yeti premium” price. But this one is actually awesome. The plunger is solid with basically no wobble. Keeps it warm for several hours. Actually worth the price I have to admit.

   OMG I’m in love with my new French press! Can’t recommend this enough. The x-large size, the style, the functionality, the overall quality is amazing as you’d expect from Yeti! On top of all that, it’ll travel well to the office or on an outing. Worth every penny! Would make an excellent gift for a coffee lover.

   Gasket isn’t sealing: inner circumference isn’t continuous to create a seal.
   Great product, except one either design or mass manufacture defect, as I’ve observed this same issue with my buddies’ Yeti french presses. If I’m allowed, I’ll post close up photo of a void in the lid’s inner circumference to be able to create a continuous seal with the rubber gasket. The missing seal is near the spout, which results in dripping/leaking along the tumbler’ wall, when pouring coffee into a mug. I even tested the seal by completely sealing the dispensing hole with my thumb and tilting the tumbler filled with just water, however there is always drippage/leakage observed from under the spout, which comes from the non-sealing gasket section (about 1/2″) located to the right of the spout (if looking from above the tumbler, while pouring)

   Although expensive, this French press is by far the best on the market and worth every penny! The 128oz is awesome. Other than being Extremely heavy for those who don’t have strength or arthritis, and the lack of water level measurements, and not including a coffee scoop (this definitely should be included at this price point!)…. It’s an excellent product that keeps delicious coffee hot for several hours! Note that I find letting it “brew”for 10 minutes when full resulted in better results for our zavida vanilla hazelnut grinds. I don’t have any of these leaking issues reported by others thankfully! Highly recommended product!

   If you have the money, then this is the coffee press for you. Solid construction, durability and easy clean-up are just a few of the advantages of this press. It also keeps your brew hot for at least 3 hours after brewing. For me, this is the biggest factor when I researched French presses. Again, cost is a factor, but this press is well worth it!

    This might take a little extra time, but the coffee tastes so good when it comes from a french press. This Yetti french press is very sturdy, easy to use and makes great coffee.
    I could see how it would especially be helpful on a camping trip or if the electric goes out or just in any situation where you want to make coffee.
