   Right out of the gate we brewed a K-cup and used the bold setting. It tasted great no funny tastes. We did run water through it first as recommended. We Like all the features, especially bold brew button and that it can accommodate tall travel mugs up to size of starbucks red cups. Fits a 31 travel bag, I already owned, perfectly to take on week-long+ trips which is the reason for purchasing. We even take it when flying, I actually pack in my large suitcase which always gets checked anyway.

   6-29-24 5 stars This is lightweight at around 2-1/2 lbs, making it a great choice for an RV. I ordered the specifically to make tea or iced tea, using my own loose leaf, tea bags or pods. And it does a great job at that all while being pretty quiet, especially when compared to my Keurig. Something I figured out is that this will steep and run as long as there’s water in the reservoir. So for instance when I want to make a gallon of iced tea I add the appropriate amount of tea in the basket and then just add water when the level is almost empty and while it’s still steeping and of course change out the cup underneath as I go, then just mix all the cups together in my gallon jug. I also run the machine on “Strong” which seems to be intended for coffee but works for tea also. This is great for when I have company and don’t have the time needed to make suntea. Honestly I don’t know why it has a button for over ice or iced tea since the water is heated either way, but maybe not as hot, so it doesn’t melt as much of your ice. It doesn’t seem to make a difference, at least to me. Either way you want to have your cup filled to the rim with ice on both settings. It will melt the ice, until 2/3 to 1/4 remaining in your cup. It’s handy whether you’re making a single cup or a gallon of tea and I don’t have to worry about over boiling and drying out a kettle on the stove.    Hi, it’s Glamorous Gem, hope you all are having a wonderful day, Anyway, I merely wanted to upgrade from my old coffee maker. In the midst of me enjoying tea and coffee, as well as other brewing styles, this one seemed very appealing. This coffee maker has 4 modes and can be used with Tea, K-cups, or Coffee Grounds. It also has 4 different brew styles such as Hot, Bold, Iced Coffee & Iced Tea. It seems like a decent deal for the pricing, as well as, a very versatile type of coffee machine overall. First off, it wasn’t hard to get together. The maker itself was fully assembled, and it came with 3 separate cups for brewing. Plus, two manuals. It has a few small features such as, a removable spill tray, 16oz water reservoir, a small space friendly profile, easy to see and navigate controls, 3-4 minute brew time, energy saver, and fits up to 7.3’ cups, too. What I immediately like is the fact that instructions were very clear, and it was indeed easy to use. Besides washing out your inserts first, it was basically ready for use, all you have to do is fill one of the cups with your options, insert it inside the top, close the lid and press your desired mode. That’s all, very quick and simple. I had a very slow coffee maker before, so it could take me a good 30 minutes for it to drip. I was surprised this was done in less than 5-10mins. It didn’t take long at all for the water to boil and for it to show a steady stream of coffee. Even filling it, it produced a good short sized 20oz cup for me, and nothing spilled. So, it was a very efficient and clean process. Lastly, I like that it is easily storable, portable, and overall lightweight enough for those quick trips where you don’t have access to a coffee bar. All in all, it seems like a very high quality and very well made coffee machine.    I just received my machine today and followed directions to prepare machine for 1st use. The first option I tried was ground coffee. After it was done, I wanted to remove filter and clean it. I did not expect, that the compartment would need cleaning too. Coffee was on top of the filter cup, coffee splatter was all over the inside of the compartment. See picture attached. I cleaned the top portion before I decided to take the picture. But trust me, the splatter was all over including the crevices. I emailed their support to see if this is a defect or regular occurence. Note… I do not see a max line in the filter but I believe I did not overfill the ground coffee. The grounds level was visible from the outside. Meaning I did not go pass the black top border. I cannot provide a review on the use of kpods or tea as I will wait until I get response from the company. In case it was user-error. My first impression- it worked fine to brew coffee but cleaning the machine after each use will take so much time in the morning while I’m trying to get out the door for work. Yes, I cannot leave a mess until later..that of course is my problem;) Their support emailed me back and suggested to try it again, making sure ground coffee was not at max line. This is the result of my 2nd try. Last picture is of coffee filter removed from basket. Still need to do clean up. Not a grab & go for me.

   Great one cup at a time coffee brewing machine. Brewed my K cup coffee pod just like the Brand name coffee makers without dominating my countertop space due to the small footprint of the brewer. Comes with 3 reusable brewing filters: K cup, ground coffee, and tea. In Addition, There are dedicated brew functions for Iced tea, over ice, as well as bold brew. The only caveat I have is the coffee spatter due to my short coffee mug when brewing. Overall, A lot of options for a compact unit at a fraction of the price compared to brand name coffee brewers. I recommend Tastyle Coffee and Tea Maker.

   I have been searching for something like this for a while. I need it to be single serve, k-cup compatible, and can make tea. This seems to have everything I just need. I tried it out tonight and it’s satisfying. No complaints so far. It even comes with two different heights of water catcher. Which is good because I saw some reviews here mentioned that the coffee can spill everywhere but which the higher water catcher, this doesn’t seem to be a problem for me. I guess my only complaint so far is that the tea leave holder doesn’t have the max line as suggested in the manual. But that should be fine since I only fill the very low bottom of the tea holder to leave room for it expansion when being boiled. I will post updates if it fails to work in the future.

    Was lucky I found this product as didn’t know you can get a single brew machine. There are times I need a single cup only or after pot emptied another cup. This product fits the bill. I like the versatility as I typically grind my coffee before serving. My wife prefers tea and we have both bag and loose leaves. I don’t use Kpods but now realize this product is great for parties. If a guest wants a cup of coffee/tea they can help themselves to a Kpod rather than I making a wasted pot of coffee. In terms of the device itself. Easy to use, convenient and no issues with cross contamination from a cup of coffee to cup of tea. When we travel this becomes a big deal as the places we stay have a coffee maker that leaves a coffee taste in tea and my wife hates coffee. Some observations: Oversize cups or travel mugs (Diameter) will require removal of the catch basin and won’t fit cleanly on the pad. That is not a deal breaker for me. Because there is a natural long gap between coffee cup and drip point you may get some splash, especially when cup nearly full on machine or surface. Once, for whatever reason (too fine a grind?) some coffee grinds escaped the basket, but cleaning is easy to do. The only drawback I have noted is the power cord. Way too short. Should be at least 3 feet so you can place it where you want and not pretty much next to power outlet which could be an issue depending on your house etc. The manual notes that short power line was done for “safety issues” but informs you you can use extension cord or power cord to make up for shortfall of the power cord. Why? Just make it at least 3 feet there is no safety issue.

    I’m normally a cold brew person but every once in a while I get a hankering for hot fresh coffee but being single why brew a whole pot? This gadget is worth the small bit of counter space it takes up; measuring about 9″D x 4″W x 12″H. It’s easy to set up – give cups a wash & wipe down your machine to remove any factory funkiness. There is even a small recipe book with things to try. There is a window on the water tank to see exactly how much is in there (6oz-16oz). It has a drip tray in case of overflow. The drip tray can also be removed to allow a taller cup under the spigot. After about 300 uses the machine will flash the descale button to let you know it needs cleaned. Unfortunately the descaling solution is not included. I would have expected at least a small bottle to be included for this price point. I love that I can use it to make tea, fresh grounds or pods, normal brew or “bold”. There is an accessory for each type which makes it super versatile. There is even a button to brew over ice, It isn’t a cold brew per se but just add a few extra cubes when it’s done and there ya go. Overall I have been impressed and enjoyed using this machine. If you have a small place, are single or just want the occasional cuppa, this machine is the one for you ~ enjoy!

    This is an amazing little coffee maker. Though it’s actually not that little. This is an upgrade from my previous one and I have to say, this is so much better. It’s a nice looking machine, and it has some weight to it. Feels good and solid unlike some others I have tried. The color is nice, but that doesn’t really bother me. Functionality is great. From ground coffee to tea leaves, this can brew. It even came with a little recipe book for some teas and iced coffees. Always like getting things like that with products because it helps you get the full use of the product, in this case, coffee or tea. I love, LOVE, the bigger water reservoir is fantastic. It brews well, and quickly, and is a lot quieter than my previous one. My biggest complaint, which is what kept it from a full 5 star, is the lack of cup size yields. Meaning, if you fill the reservoir with water to the max, it will brew and dispense the entire tank. I made this mistake with coffee and I wasn’t around to stop it and it spilled coffee everywhere. You have to be there to press the button to shut off the brew, which then leads to a lot of dripping. If this had that feature, I’d say this was as close to perfect for me as it would’ve gotten. Still, not terrible, just have to linger around so you don’t make a mess. I still love it and I will be getting massive amounts of use from this thing. Well worth it.

    This little coffee maker looks good and should be adequate for occasional use in a guest suite or an RV. But I don’t think the build quality would be sufficient for everyday use, IMHO.
