   We ordered this as a backup for a couple of weeks because our regular coffee maker was in the shop, picking the Mixpresso because it reminded me of a Bella one-cup I loved. It works the same as the Bella (which I could no longer find) but as I said, the top won’t stay closed. The Mini makes coffee and will be fine for a couple of weeks but is not worth the hassle of returning and waiting for a replacement to arrive. Besides, this one is so flimsy I feel no confidence a replacement would be any better.

   It’s definitely small. It’s cheap. It gets hot. I timed my first cup which I just used water to clean it out with, shown in photo. After filling it with water, sitting the cup In place and flipping the switch I started my timer. It took 5 minutes 45 seconds to finish brewing. Just wanted to add that because I was looking through reviews for a quick coffee maker. I believe it will serve its purpose and I am happy with my purchase so far. Not sure how long it will last for the price but overall satisfied.

   I really like this little coffee maker! Since I have to work from home now. I have been wanting a little red (which is my favorite color) single cup coffee maker that was not too expensive or a Kurig. This is perfect. It is so small that it barely takes up any counter space and it brews my coffee,tea or hot chocolate in no time. I also like that it has a reusable filter. The down side to this little gem is that the top lid does not stay completely closed and it does not shut off automatically. So I always have to make sure I turn it off right away after my coffee is done brewing.

    Had to try something different and this will definitely work. Can fit larger than average coffee cup, just has to be wider, not taller. If you’re tired of coffee being wasted due to larger 5-12 cup coffee makers, this will work great. No coffee filters needed, single serve. Will take longer to make as hot water coming out comes in drip as opposed to long stream but for the price and always having a fresh cup due to small, compact size of the maker, I really like this product.

    When I opened it, I giggled- it is tiny! But, if it gets me that cup of coffee, ok. I set it up to make a cup and nothing I do makes the lid stay closed! It’s stuck open! The cheap plastic is warped or something and it won’t close. Maybe that won’t bother you, but it makes it look terrible. And I live on a farm. In Oklahoma. The fly capital of America. I’m not happy about this.

    For the price this is the perfect coffee maker to meet my needs. My husband prefers regular coffee and I want to drink decaf. I did not want to use K Cups because I like to control the strength of my coffee. I like it stronger, especially if I am going to make a cappuccino. The taste is great and it is nice and hot. It is very small, which I love. I also like that, since it brews one cup at a time, I can switch up the flavors easily. Only hard part is waiting for it to brew, but like any other drip pot, you have to wait. Definitely worth the price!

    I think this little coffee maker will last quiet awhile. It is a small but it is perfect for me! Maximum water is 8 oz. however I have been filling it with less since I add liquid creamer. I highly recommend this product. It is slow in brewing but I have other things I do while its brewing. It holds a normal coffee cup size as well as larger one with the cup being out of the perimeter. The oversized cup can’t be any taller than 4.5 inches and a circumference no larger than 4 inches. It is adorable! It is very easy to pour water in it. One of the reviews said it was difficult. Its not difficult. The swing thingy has to be moved out of the way which is no big deal. It doesn’t have automatic shut off but that’s cool with me. I love it!

    Need an inexpensive coffee maker for the trailer we moved in while the house was rebuild after Hurricane Helene. That is what this is, it my work long enough for the house to be rebuild. The lid warped after the first use. Only holds very small cups and does not turn off after coffee is made. it work but that is all it is, cheap and poorly made but works for now.

    I absolutely love this coffee pot. I wanted a small one to put on my desk at work and this was perfect. It not very loud and you don’t even know it’s brewing until it’s almost done. The only thing I don’t like is the lid will not stay closed but I fixed that problem by putting something heavy on it to make it stay closed.

    Works great! I don’t have to leave a pot on all day, I can just throw a tiny scoop in whenever I want fresh coffee. Just dump and rinse the mesh filter. No coffee grinds in my cup. Makes about 6oz. Sometimes I have to add more water after it’s done because I have a very wide mug. Works for hot tea as well. Easy to clean. No problems with it’s function. 10/10 recommend!

    The coffee maker works for what it is – a cheap travel coffee maker. The lid will not close and is very cheaply made. Make sure you have an extension cord due to the plug being 12 inches long. I will be buying the small Keurig like I should have in the first place. Lesson learned.

    I haven’t had any issues with this coffee maker. Yes. It’s a drip coffee maker. Itll take a few minutes to get a cup of coffee, but for me, it’s really only like 5 minutes max. And the coffee is still hot enough that when I add cold creamer, it’s the perfect temp to start drinking. It is small. I added a picture with it in between a roll of paper towels and my can opener to kinda give you an idea of it’s real size. It’s perfect for my home because we live in a small place and I dont have room for my Keurig K-Classic to stay on my counter. I never have to move the Mixpresso. Just push it up against a wall I cant keep the lid down all the way, but it doesn’t seem to really affect the way it works. Overall, I think it’s great and worth the money spent, which really isn’t much. Reusable coffee filter, just rinse/wash it out. I added a picture showing that tall coffee cups wont fit, but you shouldn’t have any issue with normal sized mugs. **NO AUTO POWER OFF** you must manually turn on and off. Make sure you remember to turn it off.

    It does what it suppose to- make cofee. Perfect brew each time I used it. The size is quite ideal in my small office space. With its low power consumptions of just 350W, I can take it with me
    during camping or fishing to use in my truck’s 400w inverter. Yup, if the long drive is smooth enough, I’ll have someone in the back seat make coffee while I’m driving. Just dont forget to turn the switch off when done brewing. It does not have an auto off feature.
    Highly recommended. Basic but its perfect for me. I will buy one more.

    I uploaded a video and some pictures…This little machine is quite nice. Not too slow, not as fast as Keurig. Fits a medium normal size cup only. The arm comes off for washing..just make sure to put it back in before adding water or there will be a mess. Also the arm swings, so you can add coffee in the nice, removable basket and move it aside to add water. If anything changes, I will update my review later…I plan on using this for hot water for tea, instant coffee and soups…since most of my coffee pots end up being ruined with old coffee flavor. For coffee I ordered the Holstein 5 cup coffee maker in red. It will be a nice little set. After a Third run through, I took one star off because the lid won’t go down and stay down all the way. It still brew tho. Watch out for steam. May call and get product support to fix this issue

    I bought this and put five drip cycles through it, and here is my impression, after reading all the reviews and using it. This mini single cup coffer maker does exactly what one should expect for a basic, single serving, drip coffee maker. How long it will last remains to be seen, but it does exactly what it says it will do, which is make a single (about 10 ounce) cup of coffee. It’s very similar in operation to those found in many hotel rooms. After reading the reviews both good and bad, I hope my findings bring some clarity to those wondering if this product will fit their needs. Yes it’s lightweight, and yes it’s small, as it should be for this type of coffee maker. It’s really best for those that want to make a cup or two of coffee a day, or less often, move it out of the way when finished, and be minimalist in size and weight. It does that well. Use it, stow it, take it out when needed. It is very lightweight, especially when not holding water and coffee grounds. It will accommodate most ordinary coffee mugs. In the photos I uploaded, they show a pretty standard sized and typical coffee mug that holds about 12 ounces. It fit just fine, and is 3 1/8” in diameter and 3 3/4” tall. The diameter of your mug should likely be 3 1/4” in diameter or less, or it may not fit well. I have another mug that is 4 7/16” tall and it just brushes the dripper when placed in position. Doable, but any taller and it may be a problem with the fit. If you have an oddly shaped mug, or one that is exceptionally tall, it likely won’t fit under the dripper, or on the cup platform. It’s a 10.5 ounce coffee maker. Trying to put a 16 ounce or tall thermal cup in place is not what it was designed for. It’s a $15 coffee maker (at time of writing) to make a pretty standard size mug of coffee. It’s not the “transformer” model that can adapt to every wish and whim. The placement area for the mug is just that, and seems designed for ordinary coffee mugs. The mug platform does not heat, and will not keep the mug or coffee warm. It’s solely for resting the mug while the coffee drips, and assumes you will drink it promptly while it’s hot. Yes, the dripping coffee will splash with typical sized coffee mugs. The less tall your mug, the more likely it will splash the surface upon which it sits as the coffee drips. It’s the way it works for a $15, but useful, single mug, drip coffee maker. This device doesn’t include a coffee pot or splash guard. If that’s what you need, don’t buy this. However, if you want a cost effective way to make a single cup of coffee, this one works as intended for a good price. Using a bit taller mug than I did, but not over 4 7/16” tall, may help minimize or eliminate the splashes if that is a concern. It isn’t for me, so I didn’t test the splash issue with a taller mug. How fast it brews a cup of coffee is totally dependent on the grind of the coffee and how much you use. Coarse, medium, and espresso grinds in varying amounts will let hot water pass through at different rates. The heating of the water is constant, but how fast it drips is dependent on the coffee grind used and how much. I used two level tablespoons of my store bought medium grind coffee, and it drips out in about 3.5 minutes when filled to the max waterline on the reservoir. If you grind your own coffee, and use less or more coffee grinds, your drip time will be different. All the control on drip rate is in your hands. In my tests on this unit, I found that the heating element does in fact turn itself off after all the water is boiled off. Some reviews said it doesn’t turn off. My testing is explained below. The heating element does turn off on my unit when all the water is boiled off, but the power switch indicator light stays lit. It seems the indicator light is simply to let you know the power switch is on, and the unit is plugged in. I assume this will be the same on other units of the same model. After brewing a cup, and all the last burps and gurgling of evaporating water have passed, I heard a click. I figured that was some kind of relay that sensed that the water was gone. To establish this, I put a “Kill A Watt” metering device on the power cord to measure the amps used and ran some plain water though a drip cycle. The three photos uploaded show the meter at zero amps when the unit is plugged in but the switch is off. It shows 3.01 amps drawn when heating the water. After all the water has boiled off, and the click was heard, the amps dropped to zero again, though the switch indicator light remains on. The light seems to be a status light of the switch, not the status of the heating element. At least that’s how my unit works. Note that like all drip coffee makers, even after all the water has boiled off, there will be the occasional drip that will land on the cup holder after you removed your mug. In the tests I did, the accumulated drips on the mug area ranged between the size of a nickle and quarter. Dab it up if desired, or let it evaporate. I don’t know the longevity of this device, but I will update if it dies what I consider an early death for a $15 device. For now, I am pleased that this works as described at an affordable price.
