   At first I was very happy with this coffee maker. It looks classy, and matches great with my appliances. We did a couple tests side-by-side with my old coffee maker. This one takes slightly longer to make a pot of coffee, but makes much hotter coffee, well worth the extra 30-40 seconds! It seems to keep the coffee hotter after it is made as well. The stainless steel top does leave spots, which I’m not thrilled about, but I’ve learned to towel dry after cleaning. The real disappointment came a few weeks ago. We’ve only had it for 10 months and black paint on the burner is coming off. Bummer! Very disappointed. But I still like the coffee maker looks and HOT coffee. I might purchase another one and hope this will not happen again.

   Love the way it makes a strong brew. Simple to clean. However, the quick failure of the water tube in the bottom means that the coffee maker is only worth half the price they’re asking. This failure requires replacing the coffeemaker for the household. I will not be buying it again.

   Stopped pumping water from the reservoir into the pot Within a few months . Also smells like something electrical burning . Call Bella customer service as it has a two year warranty and they wanted me to take a video of me pouring water in the back and turning it on and filming the fact that water did not come out into the carafe. I decided to remove the bottom and found one of the hoses had come loose and was leaking water into the bottom of the machine where the electrical components are located period. Probably the only reason it did not short out or start a fire is because every time it failed to pump water I turned the machine up down and dumped it out and tried again period I bought small radiator clamps and attach the hose to the pump And now it works fine but I don’t have a lot of confidence with the machine . I never returned it because I figured I would just get a new one and it could have the same problem and they do not have a department that repairs coffeemakers

   The coffee maker works as promised with one glaring quality issue. The “permanent filter” basket they provide for coffee grounds had a screen pulled away and frayed near the bottom of one side. This rendered it useless as grounds could escape into the stream of coffee being made. This defect became apparent one week outside the return window, so luckily we had a spare one from an older, obsolete coffee maker. This basket looks and feels inferior. Do not consider the addition of this “permanent filter” basket as a feature – it isn’t.

   My 2007, very simple Mr. Coffee maker finally said enough! Simple means, an on-off button, only. My former coffee maker did not have timers, programming, clock, etc., yet it served me well. I was wanting another similar coffee maker, Nothing expensive, and after reading reviews I decided to buy the Bella and I couldn’t be more pleased. Sure, it came with many more features than an on-off button, and all the features are wonderful. One nice feature is the machine will turn off after 2 hours. Poor Mr. Coffee saw a few burnt pots. Love the permanent filter! I really like the bold perk feature and will use this often. I’ll definitely be using the programming feature to wake up to a freshly brewed cup of coffee. I have had my coffee maker a few days, now, and no issues I read with other makers of the same class/category. The Bella Coffee maker makes a clean brew, the carafe pours well, no leaks. All around perfect!

   Purchased product 3/8/23, arrived 3/12/23 and the programming panel was defective. Poorly made with cheap, lightweight plastic except for the glass carafe. The only reason this product has gotten these many stars must be because of its cheap price! But the real pain started when I contacted Bella customer service on 3/13 and as of today, 3/31. They have done NOTHING. I sent photos, videos, receipt and their own Bella product team verified the programming unit is defective. Unless you want pain, avoid the product and especially the Bella/Made by Gather people because they don’t know what customer service means. Classic case of how to lose customers in 1 day!

   I’ve had this coffee maker for seven months. It makes warm coffee, but not hot. The coffee doesn’t come out steaming hot as it should at 185°, the standard coffee serving temp. It’s closer to 150° and if you add any cold dairy creamer, it cools it further down. I managed to nick the pour spout yesterday when washing in the sink. I figured my fault, oh well, it’ll still work. Made coffee today, not problems until I began washing the inside with a soapy sponge and ‘clink’, a large piece of glass broke off the rim. Maybe nicking the spout started the problem. Either way, as I read through many reviews and questions, there is no seller available replacement carafe. I looked up the potential Krups XB11250 as a replacement. One reviewer said it works mostly but the price is $33.49 and a new Bella, same model is $39. Time to switch brands I think. I was never really happy with this but it did have the option of setting a ‘wake’ time so the coffee was ready when I woke up. Many other machines have this option. Would not buy this again. and I managed to nick the pour sp

    I searched long and hard and really relied on reviews when purchasing a new coffee machine. I’ve had a Cuisnart for years and assumed I would buy another. I also believe that the more claims a coffee machine had, the better. After spending a few weeks researching (I take my coffee very seriously), everyone recommended the Bella coffee machines but they were sold out everywhere. I finally found this one and decided to take a chance. I’m glad I did! Although it’s simple, it’s mighty. This just makes a good cup of joe. It’s simple, good coffee made simply, and wonderfully.

    The fitting on the bottom of the drip basket disappeared and there doesn’t appear to be a way to replace it or the basket, which I was able to do with my old Mr Coffee.

    Between this problem and no replacement carafe, I can’t recommend this machine.

    I broke the carafe, and there is no Bella replacement that I could find. I was able to get a $22 Cuisinart replacement that works – thank you prime.

    I bought this coffeemaker to replace our Mr. Coffee machine based on reviews and the reasonable cost. It is attractive, streamlined and makes a fine cup of coffee for us, as we are not connoisseurs but enjoy one good cup in the morning, The operation is fairly simple. The only minor downside is that the way the water reservoir is designed, it’s a little tricky to pour the water into the reservoir when setting it up.

    Excellent choice of filter coffee maker – optimizes all of the critical features in terms of quality coffee and physical elements. I have used this coffee maker daily since it arrived early almost 3 weeks ago. It brews just slowly enough that the coffee flavour comes through yet is fast enough. It is quite nice looking with a touch of stainless steel, has a decent sized 12 cup carafe yet at 7 inches wide is a stand-out in that there are few quality coffee makers of this compact size. It has an easy setting for 1-4 cups (paper basket filter recommended for this) delivering consistently good quality at this setting (whether or not you remember how to set the 1-4 cup choice). I chose this coffee maker taking into account all of the recommendations from Consumers Reports even though CR did not rate this the highest based on their own scoring scheme – so I consider this a ‘find’. I do not use any of the convenient programming features so cannot speak for this aspect but enjoy a good cup of coffee so would rather not let the ground coffee sit out until the programmed time to start brewing.
