Does a good job. The filter is good and I haven’t had issues with grounds filtering through to my drink. It is glass, so be gentle with it. The plastic frame scares me as I don’t know how long it’s going to last, but I’m writing this review almost a year to the date of purchase and I am still using this regularly with no issues. Great if you appreciate it and take good care of it. I like it very much. Recommend.

First of all, this product is more beautiful in person than it looks in the images. It really blew me away how aesthetically pleasing it was when I saw it for the first time. Apart from that, it functions as it should and filters coarse ground coffee with no issues. The only thing to take note of is to be careful when pouring out coffee or when washing as the glass portion of the french press is removable from the metal body. Also common sense stuff like letting it cool down before washing with cold water to avoid cracking of the glass. Best to hold on to the lid while pouring out coffee to eliminate the risk of the glass decanter sliding out of the metal frame and cracking/causing scalding due to the hot liquid.
