   I always liked french press coffee but the glass carafe is easily broken and does not keep the coffee hot. I am a coffee snob who selects and grinds beans about once a week. This one liter size is great for me. The stainless steel looks good and keeps the coffee hot. The plunger is not pictured so I added a picture.

   It works perfectly fine but much of it is plastic and it feels cheap. The filter is a single molded piece consisting of several materials, so if anything goes wrong with it the whole part goes in the trash, and it’s harder to clean thoroughly than the models with multiple stainless parts comprising the filter. They do sell the filter assembly separately so if you really like the look of this one I’d recommend buying a spare at the same time just to be safe.

   I love the smooth taste of coffee from a French press now that I have tried this product. It is so good! I am drinking too much coffee now. Love it!

   This French press does not work properly. The press does not stop the grinds from getting into my coffee and I have to further strain it. I’ve been using a French press for many years so I know it’s not user error!!

   The pot is as expected. Got it as a break-resistant item compared with glass pots. Only possible downside – plastic screen parts – need to be careful not to put pot on stove and melt them (which is not the proper way to use this pot anyway).

   the outside of this product gets extremely hot… exactly the opposite of what it should do, just messed up my wood table!! now this is really sickening!!!! complained to coffeemakers.us.com about the product and they changed the name!!! words cannot say all I’m thinking right now!!!!! the title used to read “Bodum DOUBLE WALL Stainless Steel French Press Coffee Maker, 34 Ounce”
