- QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL MATERIAL: While other brands use a 150 micron mesh, We uses a 50 or 100 Micron mesh weave that is far superior in terms of strength and durability. The 50 or 100 Micron tightly woven weave keeps out super fine sediment and sludge compared to the competitor’s. At MOBELL, we ensure all of our premium stainless steel infusers have gone through careful production processes and rigorous quality control.
- SIMPLE TO USE: All you need is a 1-qt or 2-qt wide mouth mason jar (for 1-qt infuser) or a 2-qt wide mouth mason jar (for 2-qt infuser). Add in your favorite coffee grinds, add water and let it brew in a cool place or refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours. Designed to fit our busy lifestyles, without having to compromise quality and taste.

I find this fine mesh cold brew filter easy to use. I simply put the filter on my kitchen scale, zero the tare and add the exact amount of grounds that I need directly to the filter. Then, I plop into the mason jar and let it brew. Cleaning up in the morning is easy. I just remove the filter from the jar, let most of the water drain (for a few seconds) back into the jar, then put the filter into my sink drain where any remaining coffee will go directly down the pipe and not stain my sink. Once completely drained, I dump the wet grounds into the trash and rinse off the stainless steel filter. Easy peasy.
Not only is it easy to use, the fine mesh filter also does not let any solid grounds into my brew. Even if I use finer grounds for a cone filtered, automatic coffee maker. This means that I can make either hot or cold brewed coffee with only one type of grind. I appreciate that this saves me money and a little time, too, because I can buy beans in bulk and grind only once at the store.

This fits great into a wide mouth quart jar. My only issue was that the rubber gasket was too thick to use with any kind of kids so I had to remove it. That can cause a leak now if I tip it but other than that the rest of it works great.

Fits into Bodum or quart jar and can be reached easily. Fine enough mesh to brew with very few bits escaping. It helps to have a long, slim brush or utensil to pull out leaves unless they are totally dry.
Use for tea, herbs, coffee. Hot or cold. Or for infusion of ginger, fruit, cucumbers.
I also use in my 12-14 oz. mugs. Perhaps that’s overkill, to use such a tall infuser, but one size fits all.

I could be overreacting, but, I read that water absorbs toxic nickel and chromium when in contact with stainless steel for long period of time. Cold brewing would involve extended contact, so, I’m sticking with paper filters instead.
