Out of the box, my reaction was ‘As nice as this looks, it better be good’. It is. The bonVivo is slightly larger than the coffee press it replaces (cracked glass) at 32oz. With the copper-look coating which is also very easy to keep spotless, it’s quite attractive on the counter-top and table when serving. The strainer/filter is of a fine mesh, leaving little sediment in the bottom of cups. There’s also a strainer on the pouring spout. Cleanup is easy, as the strainer assembly completely disassembles. There’s even an extra filter thrown in, although even after everyday use I can’t imagine having to change it for years. This is a good buy. Four mugs or five cups.

After using a Bodum French press for a few years, this gorgeous contraption caught my eye and has not disappointed! It’s more durable than the average press I’ve used, and the rose gold vibe is a beautiful edition to our kitchen. Even better looking than the picture, it’s more of an experience now.
I usually throw a bit of mushroom coffee powder into my mug to mix in with a slightly lighter blend of pressed coffee as well, as there appear to be numerous health benefits. It’s been a nice way to synthesize the coffee and nutritious nootropic mushroom blend while also stretching my coffee beans a bit further. To reiterate, the mushroom powder goes straight into my mug and NOT into the press. But it’s been a great mix-in with a now richer pressed liter of coffee.

As you can see, my new French Press has made my coffee cup very happy. This is a very stylish press— the lid and plunger glide very smoothly and it’s got some heft to it so it stays put when in use. The screens are very effective and are NOT cheap in design. I’ve been using it every day for a week now and it does a consistent job of keeping the grounds and the fine particles OUT. I’m very fussy about that last cup— it’s the one that usually has that bitter residue but the screen/plunger mechanism does a great job and keeping that stuff out– even in the last cup.
I read the other reviews and based my purchase on the positive comments. I am very happy and so is my coffee cup. Thank you for making such a great product.

Tiene un muy bonito diseño, el uso de la misma es bastante sencillo y los materiales son bastante resistentes, solo hay que tener cuidado con el recipiente de cristal, ya que se mira un tanto frágil, también es preferible lavar solo el recipiente, ya que después de mucho uso el exterior metálico se puede despintar.

Very elegant. I was so distressed to have broken the carafe of my Bodun French Press. This was an upgrade for me and worth trying. So sleek and the copper fit my decor so well. I found the stainless steel/copper does really hold the heat longer. I think the cover “fit” could use some improvement though as I found it to be looser than the snug fit of my former French Press. It actually wobbles a bit at the top. But overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

La cubierta de metal, además de darle una muy buena vista, le agrega un factor de protección (eso sí, no hay que olvidar que el cuerpo principal de la prensa es vidrio). los componentes internos que se ajustan con roscas y tuercas son de metal, lo que le aporta resistencia y finalmente que venga con una malla de filtro adicional es un plus que se agradece.

Me gustó bastante, tiene acabados de calidad, se ve bien, no se siente frágil, ya la he usado unas 30 veces por lo menos, el vaso es de cristal asi que requiere los cuidados de cualquier articulo de cristal, soporta bien el calor y con todo el uso, las piezas de metal no tienen rastro de óxido.
Ya compre otra para casa de mi novia, altamente recomendable, estoy muy satisfecho, probablemente compre otra para la oficina jajaja

I am very disappointed in the quality of materials used, and bummed because it makes the press look a little trashy. (See pics).
