   I bought this item on Dec 10th, 2024, today is March 20th 2025, and it is dead, dead, dead. The motor has stopped working. It still heats (burnt my hand when I dumped out the water from the top). I just ran cleanser through it two days ago and have performed regular maintenance on it since it was purchased. IMO these products should last longer than just outside of the return range. Will not be buying this brand again. Do not recommend. Try another brand!

   Worked for a few weeks and then started leaking after every use. I cleaned it, descaled it, and tried to find the source of the leaking but ended up replacing it. It was a coffee maker for an office, so having a sink and paper towels near by to clean up leaks wasn’t very convenient.

   This little k cup machine works great. It has one function button. It has light capacity for holding water, which is fine because you have to stop the flow of hot water yourself. So either you put the exact amount of water you’re going to use or you have to monitor it to stop it so it doesn’t overflow. The water heats up in a minute or two (depending on how much water you put in it) and it gets to a brewing temperature. Easy to use and the perfect size for small spaces.

   This coffee maker can brew using type 1.0 and type 2.0 K-pods. It takes about two minutes to heat up – but then it brews the coffee quickly. This does not have a separate water tank, so you have to add the water for each cup – up to 12 ounces at a time. But, IMO, that is a plus since you use fresh water each time vs. using water that might have been sitting in a tank. It is very simple to use – add water into the machine, insert the coffee pod, close the cover, and then press the brew button. The machine turns off automatically once it is finished brewing. It would be great for a dorm room, smaller apartment or for RV use.

   I like how compact the CHULUX coffee maker is, as it take up little counter space making it perfect for someone who lives alone as well. It heats up fairly fast and works well brewing a single cup of coffee. I would have like to have a display to choose the amount of ounces. The coffee was not too hot but I am not sure if it is because the cup was filled all the way up, I did have to empty some of the coffee to make room for milk. I probable should have put the attachment up as well to prevent som splatter with the shorter cup. It did brew a good cup I have to take another look at the instructions to make sure everything is working good.

   The first thing I have to mention is when filling the water make sure to fill your cup first and then pour that in the water reservoir. Because it will keep filling your cup until the water is empty. So if you have more water in the coffee maker than your cup can hold it will overflow. It’s all or nothing with this coffee maker. The simple design and minimalist look makes it nice. Plus the single needle with the multiple holes gives good water distribution through your pod, making the coffee taste great. still the best pod maker is a Keurig that has five needles. But this is pretty close so I like it.

   I’ve had this little one cup coffee maker for some time now and I’m pretty happy with it. It makes good coffee. I don’t especially like the tray thing – I don’t use it. I use a large mug and the drain tray seemed like more work to wipe up than it was worth. Because there is no adjustment on the height of the spout, there is a lot of space between the drip and the cup so there is some little bit of splash on the counter sometimes. For the price I think it’s a good enough coffee maker. Also, I wanted white and that’s not easy to find. This one isn’t bright white but it’s okay.

    This is a cute, smaller K Cup brewer with limitations. There’s no reservoir so that you can make multiple cups of coffee. Basically, you will pour the amount of water you want for your brewing experience. Filled to the brim, you can put almost 24 ounces of water in the reservoir, which also has a removable screen filter. The maker will heat and dispense all the water you put in the reservoir. That can be handy just for heating water. The heating and brewing process seems to take around four to five minutes. I think that’s a pretty decent time for accomplishing the heating, and I found that my heated water was above 170*F in my mug. The drip tray has two heights in addition to being completely removable. A container of around 7-1/2″ can get under the dispenser area with the drip tray removed. The maker is nice and compact. I think the top will lend itself to some durability in transport. As I expect to be able to use this in our camper van, I do have a concern in problematic operation over 4,000 ft which would be an issue in the Rocky Mountain region. For travel, that might make it a “no go” for some, but it is simple and easy to use.

    For a single cup Keurig-like coffee brewing experience, it’s hard to beat Chulux. They make a wide range of reliable, easy to use, affordable coffee makers. This one is no different and has some improvements that enhance utility. Most obvious is the increased height and adjustable shelf to accommodate tall and short coffee mugs. My old Nissan Stainless insulated tumbler just fits in the tall position if I tilt it a little or remove the catch pan when inserting. A Hydro Flask coffee mug easily fits with room to spare in the elevated position. Note that the brewing capacity is 8 ounces to 12 ounces max, so virtually any container in this size range will fit. The wide opening top is also a big improvement. It allows for spill-free filling and lets you easily see what you are doing. Removing the included metal mesh water filter for cleaning is also a breeze. I normally use filtered water from a refrigerated pitcher when making coffee. Brewing time for the 12 ounce maximum cup size is 4 minutes. Brewing time will be shorter for an 8 ounce cup starting at tap water temperature. Other pluses are the small counter space footprint and easy single button operation. Fantastic.

    Pros: I liked that this coffeemaker comes in white for my farmhouse kitchen, and that it is slim & sleek because I have almost no counter space. I liked that the cup holder base has an adjustable height and is even removable. I got it because my old Dollar General Toastmaster pod coffeemaker finally gave out after about 4 years. Probably just needed descaling, but I didn’t know that at the time. Cons: The Chulux Slim takes about 3 minutes & 7 seconds to heat. It only heats up to 12 ounces, which I knew in advance, but that is a bit of a con for a coffee addict. I might be pushing that measure, and that might be why it’s taking longer to heat. But it does get the water good and hot. Because it is so slim, fat mugs just will not fit. The metal drip grid on the cup base just barely sits balanced on a raised ring in the center of the base and is not very stable. Poor product design IMHO. I ended up using a tall but slender insulated cup (I got it in Dollar Tree’s $5 section) and completely removing the cup base. It fits well. Although the Chulux Slim can use a coffee filter cup instead of a pod, that’s not included. I already had one, though. So the cons are not terrible and have workarounds. Overall, I do like the cute design and so far, it works just fine. I debated just going back to DG to get the black-only toastmaster pod coffeemaker (with filter cup included) for about the same price, but I’m going to hold on to this one.

    I use the reusable pods, which I purchased separately, and the coffee maker has worked perfectly every time. It takes up minimal space on the counter and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. It only takes a few minutes to brew a cup, and cleanup is easy with a quick wipe down. Overall, I’m very happy with the performance of this coffee maker and will definitely recommend.

    I live in a condo so counter space is limited. I got this little coffee maker because I like only making one cup at a time. This works great for me because of the size and it will do 8 and 12oz. It’s very easy to set up and has simple instructions that are just a few steps. I fill my coffee cup or mug to the desired level I want in the cup, then pour it in the coffee maker reservoir. The reservoir also has a screen to keep debris out which is nice. So the water level comes out perfect. Makes a great drip coffee. Fills my whole condo with the smell of fresh coffee in the morning. It does take roughly 5 minutes for it to head up to make a cup of coffee. For my purposes, it gets the job done.

    Simple use. I have the white. Setting the tray at the higher level helps with splash. Fits a 10oz mug on higher tray and a 10oz travel mug on the bottom tray.
