   Disappointed no instructions of any kind! and the video i found on advertising showed me to press the button on the bottom side and unfortunately mine dose not work. so it dose not self stir and i don’t think it heats up properly either.advertised as water proof but says don’t immerse in water wipe down at best i can use it as a travel thermos not at all what it was advertised to be two stars is generous only because i will get some use out of it but not what i thought it was going to be.

   This clever insulated stainless steel coffee mug actually makes the coffee and then stirs milk or whatever into it. The photos show it compared to another unit I have that is white instead of red. What I liked: Clever technology Keeps liquids cool or hot for an extended time. Makes pour-over coffee if desired. Has a built-in magnetic stirrer that works well for lightweight additives like cream or sugar. Sufficient battery capacity once fully charged. What I didn’t like: Uncommon charging plug so the cable that charges the phone won’t work, but the charger brick does work. Touch button finicky until the protective film over it is pulled off. Digital thermometer reads in Centigrade. I haven’t found a way to change it to F. Hint: To operate the stirrer, first pull the protective film off of the touch button. Then hold your finger on the button until the stirrer turns on. To turn the stirrer off, tap the button.

   This is my 2nd magnet stirring coffee mug, and I do really like the concept. The material / information provided for this 23$ cup is a far cry from helpful. I found it unclear and confusing and I knew what I was looking for as I was looking for a 2nd magnetic stirring mug, and I could barely confirm that the stirring concept was from a magnet – comical. I still can’t even begin to imagine or figure out how it would heat up water or brew coffee. it claims you don’t need to pour hot water over the grinds ok but then won’t explain how it’s supposed to do it. Only way I could figure was to pour hot water over the grinds… but it claims that it would brew it? it says.. “Protein to meal replacement, effortlessly”, lol which means if you add a couple of scoops of protein powder to water in the cup it will mix it if you put your warm finger over that lower button with the Chinese writing. Which is also odd as it is very easily touched and turns on randomly but when you want to turn the spinning on – seems more challenging – figures. I will say that the cup and lid has a nice screw on design to prevent spills and a very comfortable lip to sip from so well done on the lid design. Ironically my nose hits it every time I take a sip so I get to see what the temperature is in Celsius…. 46 supposedly but how can it even know – I’m assuming the sensor for temp is that little metal nub at the very top well you really can’t fill it that high so it can only gauge the temperature of the room inside the mug not the actual liquid, I also like the crimson and cream color scheme. The charging port is very unique, magnetic little nub that connects to the bottom of the mug. Not the best location, but one potentially good thing is that it claims it can also be charged by any other smart watch charging cable which I have a few so that’s a neat concept. overall: I like the magnet stirring mug size and lid design even the handle strap. BIG negative points for the misleading advertisement and lack of instructions.. They could fix that easily enough. And I’d be curious how they can back up any claim that this mug would brew a cup of coffee other than just by either pour over hot water or submerging into hot water. DID NOT heat anything up in my tests. ps temp at 41 now so not even really maintaining my instant hot water.

   Using a coffee frother to mix hot chocolate and instant coffee can seem nice, but eventually those overflow. This powered mug, however, has a built in stirrer that ensures you can get the perfect mix every time (without spilling). I can see this also being great for mixing in protein powders and using in the gym. It’s got a built in temperature sensor at the top so you can see how warm (or cold) your coffee is, and has a built in tea/coffee filter for brewing right in the container. This doesn’t come with any instructions so takes a bit to figure out – pressing on the top and holding will turn the temperature sensor on or off, while holding the little area on the side will turn the stirrer on or off (just be sure not to bump it). It comes with cloth strap, that attaches to the top of the cup, but quickly got dirty when we first washed the cup (so removed it). Because the cup has electrical components inside, it is hand wash only (just be careful of scrubbing out the inside so you don’t lose the magnetic stirrer). As for design, the charger is a straight cable the attaches magnetically to the bottom – which means the cup lies on the side while it’s charging (can’t charge when it’s full), and because its a round cup, it will roll around and easily knock off the charger. It’s a coffee maker cup with everything I could need in one, only it’s design execution makes it a bit hard to use on the regular.

   Ok, so this claims to be “equivalent to a coffee machine”, and faster too… The part of coffee brewing that takes the most time is heating the water. This “coffee maker” doesn’t have any means of doing this at all. You can wait all day. It won’t help. You can make pourover coffee with it, using hot water, but that is a far cry from “equivalent to a coffee machine”. It claims to be waterproof and dishwasher safe, and yet the first instruction is “do not immerse in water”, and further describes how soaking or immersion in water can cause damage or electrical faults. It also fails to provide any basic use instructions. I couldn’t figure out how to get the stirring function to turn on until I watched the listing video. It certainly doesn’t provide instructions on brewing coffee with it. It also advertises “Protein to meal replacement, effortlessly”. I don’t know what that even refers to, or how this coffee cup would provide that. 3 stars. This is a decent travel mug, with a stirrer and a thermometer and a pourover filter built in, but it is not as advertised in several respects.
