   This works great to make iced coffee! Got ground coffee as a Christmas present but can’t get a good cup with my Keurig because the My K-cup only takes 2 tbls of coffee and the coffee mfg suggests 4 tbls to 12 oz water! The filter works great since you can put the suggested amount of coffee in it. I left it in the frig for around 12 hrs like the instructions say, took out the filter and had a great mug of cold coffee! My only complaint is that it’s not actually 64oz (8cups) like it says (even with the filter out). It lacks 3/4 of a cup to make 64oz! Love that it comes with the filter and the cleaning brush!

You can make a big batch of concentrate to make several glasses of iced coffee. Just use your favorite coarsely ground beans, measure and pour them into the filter, add water, cover with the lid and place in the refrigerator. I refrigerated mine for 24 hours. I did not have whole beans on hand and my grounds were a little too fine but the coffee was smooth and not bitter. The filter did its job and no grounds seeped through. It’s simple to use and simple to clean. A great way to make iced coffee at home!

   The 64oz cold brew jar is perfect! No complaints. The Mason Jar look is so cute too! The size is perfect to sit in the fridge and not take up too much space. The filter will hold plenty of grounds for that perfect cold brew. I use 1 1/4 cup grounds for a stronger brew and it could hold more if I wanted. Easy to clean up. After brewing over night in the fridge I let the grounds sit to dry a bit in the filter then dump, brush and rinse! The rubber seal on the filter as well as the rubber seal on the lid fit snug and yet easily removable for cleaning. Once the filter is removed I add a bit of water to the jar and shake. It has never leaked. The handle is sturdy and allows for an easy pour. Honestly if you wanted to use it for something other than coffee you totally could! Just remove the filter and wah-lah! I am so happy with this purchase!

   This is my 2nd 64 oz. cold brew maker. It works great because of the lead design and secure seal + pour spout. It also looks like the entire Seal and pour spout was redesigned and the SS mesh filter is more dense and filter coffee better (I used to pour coffee to a separate jar and had to run it trough cone paper filter twice, because of the amount of dust in the coffee). With this redesigned mesh filter I don’t have to do that and coffee is ready to drink right from the pitcher. Cleaning brush was added – it’s much easier to clean mesh filter with the brush included to the set.

    This pitcher works well for a variety of drinks. I used the infuser/mesh basket with fruit and it did a nice job of flavoring the water while keeping the seeds/fruit particles out of the water. This also worked well when making cold brew coffee. The mesh basket seemed to work better than a fabric one I’ve used before. I haven’t tried this with tea yet but that’s next. The glass jar is nice as it is dishwasher safe and won’t absorb flavors or discolor from the fruit, coffee or tea. Since the top/handle is plastic, it does have some give, especially when the pitcher is full. Mostly the Handle Part will flex with pitcher is full

    I absolutely love this. Easy to clean, the insert came with ratios for brewing. They were spot on. First mistake was trying fill it with Ester then inserting the filter full of grinds. DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE. Fill filter first and add water through filter or its a mess. I make 1 jar a week. The handle is sturdy and makes for easy pouring. Packaging was fantastic, well protected for shipping. My husband and I use fairlife protein drinks with the coffee about equal portions, over ice. Husband uses vanilla fairlife and adds caramel, I use chocolate with a splash of cream. Overall great concept, love this product and can’t wait to use it all summer too.

    I’ve only had this for a few weeks and the jar broke while I was washing it! I’ve never had this happen washing a jar before, I’m not sure if I just got a dud?!? It wasn’t user error, it’s never had hot liquid in it, I haven’t bumped it into anything. I don’t want to return the whole thing to exchange it because then I’ll be without a coffee maker. Until I find a replacement jar I’ll just use the wire mesh basket in a plastic container. Sigh. I wish they could just send a replacement part? I couldn’t find a way to contact the seller or I would have. If they see this and send a replacement I’ll update my review.

    I really wanted to LOVE this product, but from day 1 I have had difficulty with the cap seating properly and especially when the filter is in place. It is now past the return time so I am stuck. This morning I as I was going to place a fresh batch in the refrigerator a removed my hand from the bottom while holding the system by the cap handle and the entire glass bottom fell off and coffee water and grounds went everywhere. Luckily, the jar did not break. After cleaning up the mess I tried re-seating the cap to no avail, my husband tried his hand, nope not happening. If you take the filter out you can get the cap to go on properly, sometimes it will still leak and you will still have to unscrew it and put it back on again. Not sure I would try this brand again. Seems like the brands I have seen several folks use online do not present theses problems, may be time for a new cold brew system. So now it is cover it with plastic wrap and a rubber band and back to the fridge. I have given it 3 tries and it was definitely not a charm

    This is such a simple easy way to make cold brew. I love it. However, the jar broke very easily one day and there’s no reason it should broke. But luckily the lid and strainer will fit any large mouth mason jar so it was an easy fix as I had extra in my kitchen.     Best Cold Brewed Coffee maker I’ve tried. Really well-designed. Everything fits together perfect. Seals are great and don’t leak. Very sturdy and glass is thick. The Screen Filter is awesome. Really small mesh. Some people complained it was hard to clean. I found it was super easy to clean. Just dump out the grounds, rinse it out and put it in the dishwasher upside down. Better if you use Coarse Ground coffee but regular ground works fine also.
    I still like to strain it through a paper coffee filter when it’s done to get out the very fine sediments.
    I bought a 2nd one and may by a 3rd.
    Buy the 64 oz, the 32 oz is too small to be practical.
    Be careful buying replacement covers from other companies. Because of the screen filter they won’t fit.

    I love iced coffee, and like cold brew even more. This has made it so easy to have cold brew coffee anytime and doesn’t sacrifice any of the flavor like just icing down hot coffee does. It’s so easy to use and the filter is about the height of the bottle which allows you to make it as strong as you’d like. The glass is thick and the handle makes pouring very easy. The seal on the mesh filter is very tight and not a single ground made it into the glass. There’s such a rich flavor from cold brew and this makes it easy as it gets. Outstanding product.     I would have given this 5 stars if it came with instructions. I have never made cold brewed coffee before so I didn’t know what to do or how much coffee to put in. After lots of Googling I gave it a shot. I filled the pitcher with 24 ounces of water and added about 3 tablespoons of coffee grounds to the middle mesh filter. I closed the lid, shook it and put in the refrigerator for 24 hours. The seal on the lid is excellent. Nothing leaked out and no coffee grounds mixed in with the water. The finished product was very good, but a little weak, so I will add more coffee grounds next time. It is definitely a sweeter and less bitter tasting coffee than hot brewed. The pitcher is well made and is a very thick and heavy glass. It is easy to clean and comes with a brush for the mesh. Very easy and convenient way to have cold brewed coffee always ready in the refrigerator.

    You get a metal filter to put your coffee grounds into and this in turn perfectly fits into the middle of the jar. You have to be careful of how much water you put in the jar and not fill up the coffee grounds all the way to the top. If you fill the water too high it will gush out the top. The dry coffee grounds want to float and it’s good to have a medium sized spoon to mash the grounds down into the water to wet the grounds and make them stay as you insert the filter with the grounds into the water in the jar. I personally love using this cold brew coffee maker. It makes some really great cold brew so long as you grounds aren’t a cheap brand. It’s easy to use and it’s easy to clean.
