This is pretty much a Generic Coffee Maker – There is no name brand on the machine. The filter is Cone Shape which you can use the removeable s/s filter or your own paper coffee filters. I like the design, nice and compact with a visual side water gauge. It isn’t a fast brewer -for making a full pot (14 cup)- it took about 13.9 min to brew on the Bold setting and about 13 min without the bold brew button pushed. However, it took only about 5 minutes to brew 6 cups! The BEST part of this coffee brewer is that you can steal a cup during the process – it stops dripping when you remove the carafe but you can pour from the pot with no dripping happening when the pot is removed. Another great feature is that you can control the warming plate temperature and how long to keep the warming plate active (1 to 4 hours). If you don’t choose the warming plate time it will shut down after 2 hours (at least that how I read it). I do like the warming plate time feature, since my current maker’s warming plate seems to shut off way to quickly. Overall – I am very happy with this product and so far makes a great cup of coffee.

Well packed coffee maker. Easy to use in just seconds after first rinsing out the metal filter and carafe. Just put the cold water in the area directly behind the water level indicator and fill to how many cups of coffee you want. Usually, one scoop of coffee grounds per number of cups you want but everyone is different. Then just push the Brew Button and wait. I didn’t use the timer functions as I just make coffee right when I want it. The little scooper included is especially flimsy and cheap and you will want something better. Although this brewer has plastic parts I did not smell any odor nor taste any plastic taste in the coffee. It works very well. The glass carafe is good for the amount that it holds and is easy to clean. The metal filter rinses out well also.

I use this machine every morning. It’s set to program and automatically brews coffee for me and it’s hot and ready by the time I set it for. It’s a very large capacity and keeps the coffee hot. It has a prefilter where you put the coffee grounds so you don’t even need a paper filter, although you can still use one. Customer service is excellent and they stand behind their product as well.

The first 2 months with this coffee pot were great. Then, it went into clean mode. So, I cleaned the coffee pot as the manual states. Nothing changed. I cleaned it four more times before giving up. As difficult as it can be to find a 14-cup programmable coffee maker at a decent price, this one hit just about every target. It makes great coffee, with variable strength settings, gets plenty hot to insure that each cup comes out ready to enjoy, has a generous 4-hour warming option for the early risers among us, and offers the most effortless programming features of any pot we’ve owned.

Having said that, I will admit that our pot developed a fatal flaw after about half a year of faithful service and refused to exit clean mode to allow us to program it for future use, even after multiple vinegar descaling attempts. But their customer service rep stepped up to help, and, when it appeared as though none of the suggestions on the manual would work, promptly issued me a refund. I may just roll the dice and invest in another one, as I’m missing that pot already!

This coffee maker is super easy to use. It has many features and I was able to use them without even opening the instructions. Everything is intuitive. It made really good coffee. The brew time can be programmed so you can set it at ahead and wake up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. You can adjust how long the heat plate keeps it hot. Not only can you adjust how long the hot plate stays hot but you can the temperature of the hotplate. It has multiple levels. You can set it for normal brew or a bolder brew. It has a cleaning function but I haven’t needed to you it yet. This coffee maker is pretty, the quality is good, it appears to be very upscale, it has a lot of options and makes good coffee. I highly recommend this coffee maker.

I’ve had this for a couple weeks now and so far it ticks all the boxes.

14-cup capacity realistically means seven or so normal coffee mugs but that’s perfect.

The included gold mesh filter works great; a little bit of particulate matter gets through but it’s so fine I never notice it when drinking.

The controls are easy to figure out without the manual and easy to use.

The carafe isn’t prone to dripping when pouring, and the drip valve isn’t prone to dripping onto the warning plate when the carafe is pulled out.

My only quibble, and this applies to every coffee maker I’ve ever seen, is that the warning plate is not stainless steel and will probably corrode to uselessness over a year or two. We shall see…

This is so much easier to program than my name brand coffee maker. It also has more features. You can set the hot plate temperature to 3 levels and can put it on keep warm for up to 4 hours. Now I may not want to keep coffee hot for 4 hours, but hot water for tea I might. Still it’s an option. And with being able to lower the hot plate temperature some might want to keep it hot for 4 hours. I like that it has 14 cups instead of the normal to and sometimes 12 cups.. it has a clean function and a programmable option to set for a specific time of day to come on. It comes with a reusable coffee filter, which is great, because I didn’t have any it just so happened. Has a glass craft , which I like, I can see it brewing. The top of the coffee maker has a big lid to open and I could easily pour water into it. It also has a bold brew, not sure yet about that feature. It made coffee very quickly and cleaned up very nicely. Very pleased with the purchase.

I got this coffee maker to have on standby because we know that our current, name-brand coffee maker could die any day now. Our current coffee maker also only makes one serving at a time, so it’s inconvenient if we have company. This coffee maker works very well. My whole family likes the taste of the coffee it makes. It has a special brew cycles for bold brews and small brews (1-4 cups). It can also be programmed for a delayed start, which is helpful for those who like to prepare their coffee the night before and wake up to an already-brewed cup the next day. I experimented with all of these features, and they worked beautifully. The warming plate can also be adjusted in both temperature and length that it’s on. I didn’t really try different setting for it, but it did keep the coffee warm as long as it was on, and it shut off after two hours. It also gave a little beep when it shut off, which I liked because it served as a “final call” for hot coffee. It came with a reusable filter, so no trying to remember to purchase paper filters. Best of all, the carafe pours without any leaks, which is often a problem with less expensive coffee makers. If you’re looking for just a regular, basic coffee maker with a couple of helpful features, this one is worth considering.

This is a great coffeemaker, I’m very happy with it! Looks wise I think it looks really nice on the counter, and it works wonderfully. The settings were really easy to figure out, even without reading the instructions. The programmable feature works great to schedule what time you want it to start brewing in the morning. I especially like the feature that allows you to choose between multiple heat settings to keep the coffee warm after it’s brewed, and select how many hours you want it to keep it warm. I like the reusable filter instead of having to buy filters. All things considered, this was a great choice.
