   Very easy to use, and great cup of coffee. I find that the cone shaped coffee ground holder (in these models) allow for a stronger brew and less coffee than a wider coffee filter as in this case, so the water is allowed to stay contained in a smaller area and brew stronger. The price is the best in the sleek black. Also, pour slowly when the pot is full and you will NOT get any dribbling as some of the reviews state. This coffee maker is easy to use, keeps the coffee hot and brews great. It’s priced much higher in department stores, so purchase it on coffeemakers.us.com Prime!

   Don’t know why, but the coffee just tastes better than it ever has before. As far as the complaints about the pot/carafe in some of the other reviews not being easy to pour without spilling, I’ve encountered that with every coffee maker that I’ve ever owned and this is one is actually better in that department too. No, you can’t just dump the water or coffee from the carafe into the reservoir or cup, respectively, you have to gently pour it, no big deal. Lid snaps firmly into place & was a little tricky till I got used to it but the way this is made it’s easier to keep clean and gives you a consistent flow when pouring every time. Makes a little noise when brewing, personally, I like the sound of coffee brewing in the morning & the beep that tells you when it’s done is one of those things that you don’t know how you ever lived without it once you get used to it.

   This purchase was made to replace an older model of the same make. Love that it makes good coffee for 12 and also brews well on the 1-4 setting. I wanted a coffee maker which was basically black, no stainless steel, but be aware that the black housing is entirely plastic There is a large viewing port for water capacity and the machine is easy to use. The clock is very small, but there is another model with a larger clock . I am annoyed that it drips coffee when pouring, so constantly have to wipe up spills as it dribbles on counter top.
