So, full disclosure, we are not experts at making espresso and this is our first machine. (We are coffee experts, and have had a dozen coffee machines, but we always buy our specialty drinks at Starbucks). Honestly, we got this more for the look – because my teenager wanted a ‘grown up’ espresso machine as he’s an experimental barista at home.
So far, we are happy with this.
Performs the basic functions we need it to and is fairly compact to boot…so fits on our coffee bar nicely alongside the Keurig and standard coffee machine.

When it works it works but sometimes you have to push the power button multiple times before it lights up. Same with brew buttons.

Bought this with so much excitement. However my excitement turned into annoyance rather quickly. It doesn’t always turn on. When it does turn on, the majority of the time the two-shot button doesn’t work, only the one-shot.
I would’ve loved a cappuccino this morning but alas, it wouldn’t turn on. It did turn on this afternoon though.
So when it works it’s fine but I’d spend my money on a brand name.

One may be a fluke but two is likely a trend. This was our second unit. A replacement for the first after it leaked from an O-ring then totally locked up. Now that we are 10 days past the return window. It just dispensed so much water that it overflowed the cup by at least 3x. Had to manually power it down and then all the controls locked up again. It did unlock eventually. If we weren’t past the return window, this would be going back and we would be looking for something else.

It is small and fits almost anywhere. It works perfect, just make sure you follow the directions for set up, especially for the steamer before you first use it. It is easy to clean and doesn’t take long to warm up. It makes amazing espresso. I’ve already saved a lot of money by making my own instead of going to Starbucks. I wish I had bought this sooner.
