   For that price I expected better quality pot. You cannot see how much water is inside the pot. The wood handel is not solid and it may catch fire on the gas stove.

   I enjoy percolator coffee and was looking for a nice quality percolator for 10-12 cups. I’ve used plenty of the outdoor camping models with flimsy aluminum inserts, floppy lids and metal handles that heat up. This is a good one, looks good, easy to clean and continues to look great after a year of use. It makes perfect smooth coffee. I fill it up to right below the spout, 5-6 scoops of coffee and turn it on high. As soon as it starts to percolate I reduce the gas heat to the lowest setting and let it perc for 3 minutes and turn it off. I let it sit 3-5 minutes and enjoy my coffee. Would highly recommend. And the wood handle is great, I don’t need a pot holder or rag when pouring.

   I forgot how good a cup of coffee was 50 years ago. No plastic taste. All components are metal & glass and wood on the handle. Easy to clean. Spot welds look a little sketchy, but seem to be holding up well. Nice & shiny! I like it alot.

   Would be pretty great, but the handle spot welds broke free from the body at the top where the lid is attached after just a couple months. It’s still ‘usable’ but it’s really dicey and prone to a huge accident with boiling hot coffee. Would like to exchange, but coffeemakers.us.com’s 30 day window strikes again. Would gladly alter review rating if things could be made right

    The coffee pot is fine. Just don’t understand why the glass knob cracked in 4 months. I always use the low setting on the stove, it’s never rapidly boiling.

    We have enjoyed this percolator for three months and only hand wash the various parts. However, we were about to pass the coffee this morning and discovered that the glass knob had cracked along the threads. Was this due to heat or a defect in the glass? We are not sure but we could never have imagined that the glass knob would crack in three months.

    Took some getting used to. After a half dozen pots perfect camp coffee. When unscrewing the glass top to clean when screwing it back on it cracked. Hope they can send me a replacement.     I was so excited to get this and put it to good use….Maybe the one I received was one the slipped thru QC?? Overall it seems to be well made except the lid. I posted a video of the very loose lid movement and also the shoddy welds or whatever they are that attach the lid to the coffee pot itself. I will continue my search for that elusive, well constructed percolator that will last for many many years!

    At first, we really impressed at the quality for the price. After using 4-5 times, and hand washing only, the handle is cracked and warped. The bottom of the percolator is also warped outward, so no longer sits flat on the cooktop. It would maybe still work on a gas stove, but there not enough contact now for the electric cooktop to get the water hot enough to brew. Product had great reviews, so maybe I just a bad one.

    Had for a while now and finally felt it out. 1) Minimum water amount won’t boil right. Just brew a Whole 12 cups and enjoy it. 2) Glass Bulb Broke around threads. Using perc with bulb just set on top without threading into lid results in messing bubble over from between the bulb and the lid. Good Perc for what it is. My only complaints would be, 1) basket redesign so basket lip sets on the rim of the Percolater rather than setting inside kettle and using a separate lid that set on the rim of the kettle. 2) Make the Lid Fully removable. Lift off lid. Not pivotal lid. I would love to get my glass bulb replaced… *tear*

    Bought this coffee percolator in April ’24. Love it, BUT, the glass knob cracked under normal heat conditions Had to order a new knob. This seems crazy to me since I have one from the 60s for a campfire, which is still in good condition, at a lot higher heat!!

    This product really makes me confused for days. Just as the picture which was took after my 5th clean, you could always wipe out this sort of stain from anywhere inside the coffee maker. I tried to clean it with water, boiled water, dish soap, dish soap+boiled water, bar keeper. And as the seller suggested, I also tried to clean it with vinegar+boiled water, and lemon juice+boiled water. Within the recent days, I’ve cleaned this coffee maker about 10 times, but the stain still come from nowhere, and I see no difference with the picture after my 5th clean. Also, the coffee I made by this coffee maker doesn’t taste good as well. After the 1st and 2nd clean, the coffee taste like metal. And after my 10th clean, the coffee doesn’t have the taste which it should have by comparing with the coffee made by my french press. So confused, but I don’t know if it’s because of the stain. The last point, the glass handle splits at my 2nd use, not sure if this also happen to others. But it seems you can’t tighten it to the cover, you have to make it a little bit loose. All in all, it makes me disappointed, and wasted a lot of time and energy. Just gonna return it, since the stain looks would cause some health issue.

    Coffee pot was very obviously used, the lid is super lose at the hinge and the coffee filter package is stained with I can only assume coffee splashes. There is some type of food on the outside as seen within the red circle I have made. Super disappointing. Otherwise the pot itself is a good one, although the lid I’m sure in time will break off, because it is second hand I can’t say if the lid was damaged by previous customer or if it was originally lose.

    Our old perculator died and I bought this one thinking it would be even better. I was wrong. It didn’t come with the instructions or the filters. But since I used a perculator similar to this one, I thought no big deal. Wrong. The first pot was the same as the second pot. The coffee grounds had to be strained out so you could even drink the coffee. It did have good flavor but not worth all the trouble. I was so confident a out it I through away the box. Now I’m stuck with it. I’ll be buying one someplace else

    I bought a coffee pot from you a few months ago, and after just a short time, the glass top started coming loose. I had to hold it in place every time I used it. Two months later, it fell off and broke. I filed a complaint, and you sent me a replacement part that was different from the original. A few months later, the connection between the lid and the pot broke on its own while I was pouring tea, even though the pot wasn’t damaged. I didn’t complain at that time as it wasn’t affecting my daily use. However, when my husband used it for the first time, he didn’t know about the problem. While pouring tea, the lid fell off, and the glass top shattered when it hit the counter. I filed another complaint, but since the warranty had expired, I was told I had to buy a new part, which I didn’t do. I don’t recommend this product as it has caused a lot of trouble.

    I have always liked percolator coffee, but lately I could only get it by going camping. Starbucks and Tim Hortons can’t come close. (It’s the treated water they use). This is a quality pot and should last a few years with proper care. Also be sure to get a medium course grind for your coffee. I bought a good grinder and do my own, it’s a lot fresher that way.

    Washed the pot noticed a black film, washed, rinsed, wiped with soft cloth. Preared as directed. Never smelt good. Perked really nice. Waited as directed..poured smelter gross, not drinking this. Waited poured again gross smell. Dumped all. Washed pot. Black film all over the basket, inside lid, inside pot.. Will try one more time in the morning then it gets sent back. What is that smell and black film??? Day 4 used wrap around filters worked great. Still NO coffee smell while perking and after. Taste ok and I use Folgers Black Silk even put extra for that rick coffee smell and taste NOPE. Not sure keeping pot. I think it is the pot it smells funny even after washing it and rinsing and drying it and left it open to the air just in case. Baking soda bath maybe??

    I live in an area that loses power easily & often for multiple days, I wanted to make sure I had a way to make coffee, good coffee, should the power go out. I searched for the same capacity as my drip maker. I’m not sure what I was thinking but this thing is huge lol. Not complaining, I love coffee but I was surprised at how big it is. It will work well on my butane single burner stove. It was well packaged, no dents or anything broken and makes excellent coffee.     DO NOT BE FOOLED! So misleading. This is a 9-CUP not a 12-cup capacity that they use in the description, color and pictures. They sell this “12-cup” for $39.99 but it’s actually a 9-cup. They do also sell a 9-cup for $29.99 so if you do purchase a Eurolux Percolator be sure to buy the actual 9-cup so you aren’t overpaying for the same product. So so disappointed.

    Takes ages to percolate (20-30 minutes at times) and it doesn’t make strong coffee. In fact it doesn’t work at all unless you put in a certain minimum amount of water, but the guide doesn’t say that and there’s no marker on pot. Would work for someone who liked weak coffee and needed to serve a lot of people. Materials are great.

    The product does what it says. Definitely a learning curve to figure it out in terms of brewing/flavor achieved, the directions don’t really help much in that regard. Have used it for just over a month and the glass knob on the top has broken on the underside during brewing. I found the shard of glass on the top grate when I went to clean it. Too late to avoid drinking it for fear of shards as we had no idea it happened. Glass was probably not the best choice of material for the knob.
