   This machine is fantastic. The pressure is great, it is super low maintenance, and the crema is supreme. I use the two serving filter and it is very durable and easy to clean. The water tank is super easy to refill and it takes up almost no space on my counter. I can’t stress enough how easy this has made it to get superior coffee in the morning and it has become the first thing I do every morning to get mine and my partner’s day started. 10/10 love this thing.

   So far, I’m liking the coffee, but I haven’t had any luck getting the frother to work properly. It’s a great looking unit and the build quality is there so, I’m not sure what the deal is. I’m new to these machines, so it might just be me. I’ll be watching some videos and trying this again, but so far it’s either not beginner friendly, or I have a faulty unit.
   I gotta say though, the espresso tastes very nice with my hazelnut creamer, so even if the frother never works, I’ll still keep using it.

   I am a coffee snob, having had machines that make one good thing but not another. This espresso machine is pure to is designed intent and performs its duty well. Operation is simple, cleanup easy, and brew exceptional. Plus, it has a pretty small form factor, so doesn’t demand tons of counter space. Win/win.

   Ok, so as a recent fancy coffee convert I will admit I love having my own espresso machine. However, this one is so glitchy that I’m on the look out for a new one already. The good: it has a nice sized reservoir for holding the water and it is easy to fill. The bright buttons on the front are easy to see and use. Now for the bad…first, the steamer really doesn’t work. I’ve tried it multiple times and it will steam for a few seconds and then the dial just shuts down and no more steam. It doesn’t even warm the milk so I’ve had to do that in a frother or the microwave. Also, when using the espresso part, be careful because the machine vibrates and causes your espresso shot glass to move out from under the streams! And lastly, is something to just know…if you accidentally run out of water while making espresso, it will take a bit to get the water running through again. I actually have found I have to give her a nice tap a few times before she decides she can start up again. So again while this is a nice idea and I love having my own espresso maker, this ones has some misses.

   I’m really happy with this machine! It makes delicious lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos just like from a café. The milk frother creates great foam, and the 20-bar pressure system makes my coffee taste rich and full of flavor. It’s compact and fits perfectly in my kitchen without taking up much space. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the steam wand takes a bit of time to heat up, but once it’s ready, it works great. Overall, it’s a fantastic machine for anyone who loves coffee!

   This espresso maker works great. It produces very tastey espresso and I’ve really been enjoying drinking it. The portafilter comes with 2 size backets, 1 cup and 2 cup, but it is a HUGE pain to get the basket out, so I would advise keeping one in and never changing it; if changing is your thing then this machine is not for you. The included tamper is made of flimsy plastic which I don’t feel properly tamps it uniformly, so I’d advise getting a proper, decent tamper too (I got a 51mm and it fits perfectly). The machine heats up quick, it’s ready to start brewing within 10 seconds. I saw some other reviews having issue with the milk frother spitting out water but that was NOT the case for me. The trick seems to be to put the dial to 100% then I am able to scale it back and the steam works great. The storage area on the top is nice for extra space, but the picture made it look like it is heated; it is not. Very easy to operate the machine though, and easy to clean. I can have an espresso ready in 2 minutes including cleanup, so I am thrilled with it and think it is worth the price.

   This is a very solid machine. There are things I like about it and one thing I really don’t like about it. Let’s start with what I like about it. It makes great expresso and foam! The problem is there is not a setting to tell the pot to make 1 or 2 shots I have to stand in front of the machine and watch it to shut the expresso function off when it brews the amount of expresso I want. Every other machine I have had has a setting for how many shots, this doesn’t. When I was learning the machine I thought I missed something in the instructions to set the amount of shots, nope you have to stand over it which can be a problem for me as sometimes when I am tired I forget and start wandering in the kitchen to come flying back to an overflow, I am used to a setting, hard to teach an old dog new tricks. When making coffee with my old machine I would do other things while it is brewing, I can’t do that with this one which is a little frustrating. The frothing function works great once I figured it out, I learned you have to turn the frothing function dial all the way on to get steam only, if you turn the dial down towards off it not only lessens the steam but it adds water, at one point it was only hot water coming out not any steam, I don’t know about you but watered down milk is not my idea of good. I like the top is flat so I can store my tools up there, the expresso pot/frothing pot etc. This does work great once you learn the machine but I am not sure it is worth the price with a key component missing, a shot setting on the machine.

   Unboxing and setup is quick and easy. Operation is straightforward with only three buttons (power, brew on/off, and steam on/off), and a single dial to control the steam or hot water dispense. There is a lot of space under the spouts to place a mug, and I really like that the drip tray is completely removable for extra space. The steam function is especially strong, and the milk is heated and frothed very quickly! No dosing funnel is included, but the scoop and tamper works well to fill the portafilter and tamp the espresso grounds. Once the brew button is pushed, the brewing will continue until it is pushed again…this could be useful for anyone who likes a more diluted espresso shot. There is no low water level detection…actually, I was able to run the brew function and the steam function without the water tank installed. The pressure gauge works well to provide user feedback during the brewing, but there are no pressure psi/kpa markings…only text for ‘pre-infusion’ and ‘espresso’ ranges. The single and double filter inserts for the portafilter are notched so that they remain in place until the notch is lined up. This is a unique feature, and was useful for emptying the spent grounds. After only two uses, I feel like I know this machine and can make really great espresso drinks with it !

    This is a good compact semi-automatic espresso machine that comes with a pressure gauge to help adjust your exraction timing. It produces a tasty espresso but lacked the usual thick layer of crema on top. The milk frothing wand also performed well, making a thick layer of froth on top of steamed milk. This is a good starter machine for those wanting to dabble in making their own drinks. If you develop a desire to use a more complex machine, or one that allows you to pull multiple shots more quickly, you will already have experience of the key basics such as puck preparation, dosing, steaming, and timing. It comes with 2 filters (single and double shot), a tamper, and a water tank. The build looks like stainless steel but is pretty lightweight. Some of the downsides are the buttons can get stuck easily (the machine wasn’t powering on cause one of the buttons was stuck and I had to get it unstuck). It is a pretty noisy machine and the top component of the machine vibrates quite a lot during the extraction process. Overall it’s a decent machine with some issues that I had with it.
