I use this percolator on a glass top stove and am very pleased with it. It takes a little longer to brew than my electric percolator, but it is fun to watch and the coffee is delicious! I grind my coffee pretty fine and have no problem with grounds in my cup. It’s very sturdy and brews a good size pot (I bought the 12 cup percolator). I start it on high and as soon as it starts to perk I lower the heat to half and let it do a steady perk for 15 minutes. Then on low/warm and as soon as it stops percolating, I pour the most delicious, smooth cup of coffee! It’s

Bought this coffee percolator everything was fine until the knob on the lid shattered while percolating, the shop did not have a replacement knob so offered me half price refund i agreed then i went searching for a knob to fit little known to me the only place i can get them is in US which cost $6 + $50 postage absolute joke, coffee pot as been sitting in my pantry since, if you do buy one of these make sure you know where you can obtain a lid knob locally because it will shatter trust me, very disappointed customer
