   This concept would be cute if you were pressing espresso. For 2 adults drinking a normal to large cup, this is too tiny. It was packed relatively security (coffeemakers.us.com box, brown box Styrofoam padding in 4 sides, display box the item comes in). My 2 brown boxes were fine. The plastic celafane window had a hole in it and the carafe was shattered.

   So I bought it and I didnt open it until few months later, it was broken. I contacted the seller. they sent me a new one, which was nice of them. I thought it was a one off. As a busy person, I never really opened it. last week, I had guests, i planned to use it. I opened it, and it was broken. what a waste.it looked nice, but i will never know if it’s good or not because I never get to use it. TWICE!!!

   Too delicate and thin glassed — ordered two at once and one came broken and the other cracked after the first time use just by washing it. Glass is way too thin and delicate and easy to break …now I can’t return the second one.

   This is a very cute French press set that is very affordable. But it’s not packaged by the manufacturer well so unfortunately it arrived broken.

   This is my second one I had to order. The first one was damaged (it was packed on 3 boxes) but somehow the glass on the carafe was broken. I returned it to coffeemakers.us.com that day and my second one arrived 4 days later. This is a great little coffee press for the cost. I was using a large Bodum FP but due to it’s much larger capacity, I was wasting a lot of coffee. The larger press just doesn’t do well making only a single cup of coffee in my opinion. This little pot fits the bill perfectly. It comes with 2 small cups (doubtful I’ll ever use). I’ve been using everyday day and I’m impressed with the results. I’ve been using the Primo Coarse Ground Coffee sold here at coffeemakers.us.com. I always pre-heat my carafe and cup as FP coffee does have a tendency to “cool” down quickly. I “steep” it for 4 minutes as recommended then pour. I haven’t noticed any grounds on my cup so the filter seems to be doing its job. I’m sure alot of this will be directly related to your grind. Overall this is a great buy.

   The carafe arrived broken. Based on other reviews, this looks like a fairly common problem. The external packaging is fine, so I chalk this up to a problem with how the manufacturer protects the glass for shipping. I feel a little burned, as it’s barely worth the hassle of returning on a $10 item.

    Totally worth every cent. I use cold brewed from the coffee toddy to make our ‘fuel’ for the week. This French Press is great for those chilly evenings when I just want some decaf or holiday flavor to mix things up. Cups are cute, too.

    Poor quality. Brews a lovely cup of Jo, but if you’re looking for a press that’ll last get a better one. Glass is super thin. Shatters easily, had to return twice because they were defective upon delivery.. Disappointing bought a better one at winners.

    This is a beautiful set, but it arrived with a broken carafe. It was well packaged, as you can see in the photo, but obviously shattered in transit. I did not even open the package. I don’t want to get cut by the glass pieces. I’m returning it. Disappointed. Update May 12, 2021: I ordered another set, along with some other items (saltine crackers, wheat crackers, etc.) I did this as a strategy to see if my set would arrive unbroken. Yay!!! 💐💐 It did! Everything intact! I LOVE THE SET! ♥️♥️ Now I can give it 5 stars! I’ll try it out tomorrow, and add some more pictures later. I am so happy!

    I purchased the Gourmia French Press Coffeemaker for use for my mother who was visiting from abroad. I am not a coffee drinker but I do own a conventional coffee maker that I never use as it is cumbersome to use. The Gourmia coffee press is both stylish and practical. Insert your favorite fresh coffee, add hot water, press and voila you have great coffee.

    Easy to clean and definitely quicker than a regular coffeemaker not to mention looks so much better on the kitchen counter. I even used it to make fresh ginger tea. Put fresh ginger with a little water in the blender, poured ginger into the coffee press, added piping hot water, pressed and had great filtered ginger tea. Definitely a beautiful new addition to my countertop.

    The only reason why I did not give the Gourmia Press 5 stars is because I felt the cups were a little too small.

    600ml doesn’t quite fill my 20oz or 560ml travel mug. Looks quiet pretty, would recommend getting the larger one
