   I love the look of this coffee machine, I also got the matching tea kettle. I was so excited, but we brew 8 or 9 cups every morning and unless you are only brewing 4 cups… It overflows with grounds in the coffee every day. The only thing I have found to alleviate the situation is to pause it when I start to see the water and the grounds getting to the top let it drain into the coffee pot, then turn it on again. I have to do that for a total of four times per morning just to get it so it doesn’t leak. I tried the basket filter it came with and tried disposable filters. I’ve reached out to the seller. This is so annoying for a 12 cup pot that you want to set and walk away from. Seeing if I can get a refund.

   It’s taller than my old coffee maker, so I cannot easily open/close the lid under the kitchen cabinets…a minor inconvenience. The lid is a bit flimsy, and the “chrome” is plastic so it feels and looks cheaper in person. I also am not a huge fan of the filter. I loved the idea of a reusable one to reduce waste, but it does let a decent amount of residue build up for that last cup at the bottom of the pot. It does stay nice and hot and is a good value for the price point.

   This is the most beautiful coffee pot- to look at. I love all things retro blue like this. I have many kitchen items that color. This coffee pot however I’ve now had for a year and a half and I would not recommend if you want something that lasts. It doesn’t hold up like the old coffee pots. I have to clean it often and still it takes half an hour to brew 6 cups. It’s ridiculous. The amount of water loss to steam is nuts too. We have to put about a cup over what we want so we get the right amount. I wish it was beautiful and functional but I can’t say that. I also use filtered water in it and no change compared to the house water. I do love its large pot capacity as well.

   I originally purchased the black and copper one as my husband thought the white one would get stained over time. However, when I received the black one I just knew it wasn’t my vibe. I’ll be getting the GE cafe series oven and fridge and the white/copper will match that perfectly. They had great customer service and allowed me to send the other item back for an exchange at not cost to me. Now I have the white/copper one and it is a work of art sitting on my countertop. It also works really well – very fast. I will just have to wipe it down regularly so it doesn’t stain.

    Liked the look of the unit on my counter. It’s hard to fill the water reservoir. No matter if I use the reusable filter that came with the unit or if I use a #4 cone shaped paper filter the grounds run over into the pot. This coffee maker is a disappointment compared to my old Bunn coffee maker. Buy again? No. Recommend? Only if you want a nice looking coffee maker on your counter

    I saw this which y coffee maker with the copper trim and loved the clean look and simple design. But as soon as we got it out of the box, there were problems. It says to run the coffee maker with water through several times and it was immediately apparent why. The steam coming from the maker smelled like strong plastic. We did this process 6 times before making our first pot. Our first pot leaked and spurted all over the counter and floor. We figured it out, the coffee filter holder insert was slightly misaligned, so the coffee was dropping on the ball of the pot and splashing up. So not simple to use. We adjusted it, but the coffee had a film on it and smell and tasted off. So we through it away. We ran water through the pot 3 more times, so a total of 10 times before using. The first pottasted off, but we thought it might be the coffee. So we made some freshly ground coffee, and still the same. This morning, we made coffee, nothing obviously broken after owning it for less than two weeks, and grounds and coffee everywhere. It’s not worth the money. The capacity is fine, if you don’t mind it on the counter and floor as well.

The last few weeks, watery grounds leak everywhere (in the coffee, on the lid, and on the counter). I have cleaned it out a few times with vinegar, but the problem is still happening.     The color I bought is called putty. I included pics because the coffeemakers.us.com pics made the color seem towards a tan, when it is really more a grey. The last pic is a cream colored mug by it for contrast. Coffee makers have different pros or cons depending on a given preference. This is why I bought this one and like it: 1. Very small footprint. This gives 12 cups of coffee, while consuming very little counter space 2. Brew delay feature to allow coffee to start went you want (like right before you wake up) 3. Easy functionality. The delayed brew should be 1 button instead of 2, but otherwise this is superbly straightforward 4. Carafe pours perfectly. No drips, no weirdness 5. No need for paper filters 6. Design is rather cute 7. Easy enough to clean

    I use this at least twice a day. It’s quiet, it doesn’t spill when I am pouring my coffee from the carafe and the coffee maker itself is sturdy. It’s small enough to fit perfectly on an average counter but definitely is not miniature. The color is absolutely prefect and vibrant. It is definitely worth the money spent.

    We chose to give this coffee pot a try after our beloved coffeemaker of over 20 years gave up the ghost – particularly the start/program button. Anyhow, on our search we were hoping to find a white coffee maker which is very difficult, to fit in with our white decor in the kitchen. This is more of an ivory colour (as stated in the description). That wasn’t all. We were happy it did not beep – but the cord to the wall was black, not white like the rest of the machine. Also, the a.m./p.m. option was odd. There was no AM or PM showing – just the clock display for am, then in the pm a small white dot would show up. We were very used to the regular AM/PM like you would see on any device, particularly one that you want to program. That was the deal breaker for us. It also didn’t look as modern as the rest of our appliances (yes, it has a retro look, so if that’s your thing), and well, we opted for a different brand and we love the choice we made. The coffee in the Haden was okay, the coffee in the pot we actually prefer and bought was GREAT! and the beep when the coffee is done is not a big deal for us. I think it just came down to personal preference. The Haden coffee maker simply wasn’t for us. For others it could be their own little bit of heaven.

    Three months after receiving this coffeemaker as a wedding gift, I was gently washing the coffee pot with a soft bristled dish brush when the top of the brush punched a hole through the plastic wall. It was the most bizarre thing, and I really don’t have an explanation for it besides low quality material. Given that I’d only had the product for three months and I understood this to be a reputable brand, I tried calling their US customer service line, only to be sent to a voicemail with a full mailbox. I then emailed Haden’s customer service, briefly explained the issue, and attached a photo of the broken pot. The response I received was a link to purchase a replacement pot. My confused and frustrated follow-up email was never replied to, and Haden provided indifferent, impersonal, and unapologetic customer service, with zero effort to make the situation right. It’s a shame, this really was a product I was excited about.

    I was very reluctant to order a coffee maker online. I kept imagining opening a box with a shattered carafe and dented machine. Haden packages their coffee maker superbly, as you can see in the first photo. The coffee maker box was shipped inside a shipping box that has styrofoam in it as well. The coffee maker is slim and nice even in a small kitchen. Very simple and self-explanatory buttons. Coffee comes out great – my 21yr old says it smells like Starbucks in the house. Will purchase again! 5/31 (2 weeks) update: So far, machine works great.. except I cannot get the delay brew function to work. I have tried it every which way, following the instructions to the tee. I even tried doing am/pm in case the time was incorrect…. but it does not work. So i removed a star for that. Not a deal breaker but may reconsider buying again. No leak so far – since many people mentioned. Makes a beautiful brew. I enjoy the extra strength button.

    I had no idea how much better my coffee could be with a new coffee maker! This one is fantastic. It looks adorable, is very light and makes an excellent cup of coffee. I unplug it after every use and hand wash the parts as I’m not sure they are dishwasher safe. It’s not a big deal as there are only 3 removable parts and it just takes a second to wash. The retro design makes it look very nice on the countertop! Absolutely recommend. 😊

    Great color! Super cute! The angle to add water is a little challenging but workable. The light goes on and goes off when you turn it on and when it shuts down, but it would be helpful to have some sort of alert but not a dealbreaker for me. Coffee turns out great, and I like the “extra strong” button feature, but my main focus for this coffee pot was size, triangular filter (much better for only making 2-4 cups), and of course the color, and for those reasons it would be 5 stars. Only deducted a star due to my notes above, but I do recommend this coffee maker a lot! 🙂

    They clearly don’t design their products to last. They absolutely have no understanding of what testing and failure modes mean. Their marketing is disingenuous of the type of brand they are. It is not about the cost of the product which is similar to several other brands, is about the attitude when you ask for customer service. The product broke upon the first wash/first usage. The washer that holds in place the cup will break off leaving you with a broken product. Customer service will do nothing to help you and will not send you a replacement part or offer a exchange. I would never rely on this brand at all. CHEAP stuff.

    1 – Takes ages to reheat the coffee. If you don’t finish the coffee pot straight away (12 cups) and leave some for tomorrow, then it takes 1 HOUR to reheat the rest of the coffee.. Very convenient for the morning coffee…….. 2 – Coffee spills all over the place. The dripping system is a mess. On a brand new coffee pot, the coffee is bursting out. Coffee leaking all over my kitchen most of the time. 3 – Filter sucks. I love to drink grounded coffee in my cup. 3 – Programming is useless. I thought I need a programming coffee pot to wake up with the smell of fresh coffee in the morning. LMAO. Thats useless, I used it once in 30 days, better just wake up and press the “start” button. Easier. 4 – Poor design. The water pooring design is awful. It’s so tiny and not well conceived that you will spill water all of the kitchen and in the coffee beans.
