   Often has overflows due to cone filter problems or auto off when pulling carafe out. Seems like 1 of every 5 mornings the carafe is either full of grounds or the plunger fails and doesn’t stop brewing when you pull out carafe, coffee keeps pouring out onto hot plate.

   I ordered this because the look of it caught my eye. As soon as it was opened, both my husband and I were impressed with how nice it looks in person. It’s an easy straightforward coffee machine to set up and use. I’m not a coffee drinker myself, but my husband, step mom and son all say it makes really good coffee. One thing we did find though, was if we use the reusable filter that comes with it, there seems to be some sort of residue at the bottom of each cup of coffee, so we tried paper filters and no residue. The coffee is nice and hot and the stay warm function works nicely too. My husband likes the 1-4 cup function on it, so he can brew a small pot, and the rest doesn’t go to waste.

   I didn’t chance to brew a pot of coffee with this machine because I knew as soon as I unboxed it I want going to keep it due to the color. I’m writing this review to save others the trouble of looking forward to the color “Ivory” as seen in the ad. Yes, it says ivory not white but the photos led me to think it was going to be white not cream, almost beige in color. Also, the water shower head is very small, making me think this coffee maker wouldn’t be able to evenly cover the coffee grounds. My photos show the ivory coffee maker next to my white toaster as well as the difference between the ad and real life.
