Although this coffee maker is bulkier and takes up more space than most others of this capacity, it more than makes up for this with the way it brews a delicious cup of coffee.
It’s only drawbacks are that it has a number of parts to put together when you put the coffee in water in it initially. The automatic shut off should be less than 120 minutes which I think is way too long. It would also be nice if they offered an insulated carafe.

I don’t write many reviews but this machine was absolute garbage. We bought it for Christmas, worked fine for 3 months and then developed a leak out of the water reservoir. I took it apart and the reservoir has a small crack around the front of the unit by the screw. The instructions tell you to dump out the top reservoir after every brew, so it should be designed for heavy handling. Clearly with a leaky top, it’s not. Spend your money elsewhere. I’d give it 0 stars if I could.

Once you figure out the settings that work for you the coffee is very tasty and very hot.
Brews very quickly,much faster than my older standard coffee maker but that is a bonus as flavour is still better and I use special order organic coffee.
It takes up more space than a standard coffee maker but looks great,already had compliments on how futuristic it looks.
