   This is an automatic coffee maker for either K-cups or grounds. It has cup size settings from 6 to 24 ounces, and options for Hot Brew, Over Ice, and Bold. There is a water tank on the back which can be filled with a glass, or by removing the tank and putting it under the sink. There are two cup stands for large or small cups. Also includes a K-cup storage rack that sticks to the refrigerator with magnets. It is easy to use and makes good coffee from K-cups. It stops accurately at the set ounce limit. Uses just under 1000 watts while making coffee. This is a good simple coffee maker.

   This showed up exactly when I needed it. I was recently introduced to this technology by accident and I was so impressed that I just had to get one. This beverage maker is just perfect. Simple to setup and use. I like the magnetic k-cup holder that sits on the side of machine for quick k-cup selection. They give you different stands for your coffee mugs depending on the height of your cup which is smart. There is a filter for putting loose grounds in and making coffee. You can do other beverages as well. There is a alert for after you have made some 300 cups it tells you when to clean it or descale it, which I like. I just get my favorite k-cups, pop one in the top, close the lid, press the amount of ounces, then press hot or cold brew and within a minute or so I have a cup ready to go on the go. Love this machine so much !

   I work in an office with a Keurig machine and I have only used it once…ok, maybe twice. Usually the coffee that comes out of the Keurig is not to my liking. It’s either too weak, too strong, or tastes like whatever cleaner was used most recently. that plus the waste generated by these machines, all these little plastic cups of coffee grounds pierced on two sides. One can imagine the tons of little plastic cups filling up landfills nationwide. This s why I was so surprised by this unit. The Tastyle Hot and Iced coffee maker… its ease of use, speed, and versatility. I used some Keurig style cups of regular coffee and I experimented with the re-usable filter cup that comes with the unit. Since switching to decaf (we all get older) I have had to get creative with my morning brew to make it more palatable. I have started mixing my coffee with brewed cacao and the result has been wonderful. The re-usable filter cup allows you to put whatever brew in and mix it however you want. The buttons on the top of the unit are easy to figure… on/off, hot brew, iced brew, bold, and descale. I have yet to descale the unit but I made both a hot cup and a cold cup (the hot takes a bit longer because it heats the water up) and the bold button works by pulsing so the water spends more time mixing with the grinds for stronger extraction. Having worked for Starbucks for many years I am biased against these machines but I have to admit I like this one. The water reservoir is only good for 4 or 5 cups of coffee (depending on how much water your cup requires) but there are very handy ounce buttons on the top of the unit. The magnetic Keurig cup holder that sticks to the side of the unit is nice but I plan to use the included re-useable cup going forward. The only reason this unit does not earn five stars is that it is very difficult to clean and using the included re-useable cup the unit requires a lot of cleaning. Other than that the Tastyle Hot and Iced coffee maker is well worth the price of admission!

   This comes with an easy to understand instruction booklet. I set the coffee maker up and did the Cleansing Brew a couple times before making my first cup of coffee. That went well. Then I was ready to brew my first cup. I put my 12 cup mug in place, dropped in a Kcup, selected a 10 oz. brew size (which normally leaves me an inch to add cream). I pushed the HOT BREW button and it started brewing. My mug was filling and filling and FILLING!!! I was getting worried as it passed the 10 oz height. Thank goodness it stopped filling the mug JUST before overflowing. Phew! So, after that, I tested a few sizes just using water and catching it in a large measuring cup. When selecting 8 oz. I got 8 oz. Selecting 10 oz. gave just shy of 12 oz. Selecting 12 oz. gives just over 12 oz. and Selecting 16 oz. gives 17 oz. So, I recommend testing your brewer the same way before having an accident with a cup overfilling and making a mess. I took 1 star off for the inaccurate brew sizes. Temperature of a freshly brewed cup varies from 164° to 174° The positive: It makes a good tasting cup of coffee. It is not too noisy. It is quick. It is easy to operate. The water reservoir is easy to remove and replace. Lots of options – Kcups, coffee grounds, it handles tall mugs to short cups. They printed warranty instructions right on top of the machine. While it’s nice to have that handy, it looks a little tacky and cheapens the look as it sits on your counter. I wish that were on the back of the water reservoir or on the bottom of the machine, anyplace that’s not SO visible.

   My wife likes this coffee brewing machine probably more than I do. She says it looks a little more stylish than our previous brewer and it has several advantages. First, the water tank attached to the back holds about 36 ounces of water which would be 3 – 12 oz cups. Also, like most brewers it takes pods of loose ground coffee in a cup for brewing and it has settings for hot or cold brewing (which I haven’t tried yet), and it has a “Bold” brew button I haven’t tried yet so I will have to give an update when I do. I do know it will brew a good cup of coffee and you can somewhat control the strength of that cup by choosing to use more or less water with the touch of a button. It also has a magnetic attachment which will let you slide on and store pods on the side if you choose. We have chosen not to use that at this time because we store or pods and loose coffee in the cabinet above the brewer. Overall, we are happy.

   This is a nice coffee maker. The fact that one can remove the base completely to put in my Stanley stainless steel 20 oz tumbler under is a huge plus for me. Also, the large water container in the back is a huge convenience, especially if you’re making 2-4 cups back to back. We had another similar coffee maker, which only took as much water as one cup which means you have to fill it for each cup of coffee.

   If you are into K-cups you will love this little coffee maker. It functions just like a Kurig and makes a great cup of hot or cold coffee (if you’re into iced brew). It also includes a reusable ground coffee filter that looks to hold 5 or 6 cups of grounds (haven’t tried it yet). Will brew 6 to 24oz cups and has a 40oz reservoir. A magnetic K-cup holder mounts to the side of the unit and conveniently holds up to 10 pods. Also included are various height coffee cup stands to keep your coffee from splashing all over while filling. I like it!

   The coffee maker is excellent and brews your coffee pretty nicely. It has 2 types of brewing ( k-cups / ground coffee) . I have yet to try the k-cups, but was using the ground coffee using the filter provided and it was brewing pretty good. The only complain I have is sometimes leaving coffee granules at the bottom of my coffee, which I never experienced with my kuerig machine I had before. It also has water reservoir, so need not to fill the water daily which is handy thing. I felt the build of the coffee machine is pretty weak, would break easily if it fell down.

    Let me preface this by saying that I have never owned one of the costlier pod coffee makers. I have always gotten the less expensive single serve units that did not have the bells and whistles, and tended to die on me within a short amount of time. This is my first experience with a higher quality coffee maker and I am in love. It comes with everything you need for K-cups or ground coffee, and can brew hot or cold in a variety of different cup sizes. You can also use the different trays to accommodate cup size. The seller includes a magnetic cup holder for use on the side, which does stick nicely. I probably will not use it because I have little counter space and I already have a K-cup carousel. But, it’s a nice touch if you need it. You also get a quick start guide and a cold brew recipe booklet. The water container is removable and holds up to 40 oz of water. You can program the unit to only brew the amount required for your cup of coffee and it saves the 8, 10 or larger ounce settings until you change it, even when it’s powered off and back on. My first cup of hot brew was excellent. I haven’t tried the cold yet, but so far, I love this.

    Here are the pros about this machine: 1) It makes good coffee. A couple of notes: a) I am only using good, filtered water in this machine. I am not using tap water. b) I think that K-Cups do best with an 8-ounce cup of coffee, which I think gives the best flavor and the right amount of water for K-Cups, so I brew 8-ounce cups per K-Cup pod. 2) The coffee is a good, drinkable, hot temperature. 3) The machine is easy to use. It has intuitive, easy functionality. It is functional and operable. The design concept is good.
    Here are the cons about this machine: 1) It is cheap and wobbly (I’ll just put those both under one item). It seems more like a cheap plastic kid’s toy than an adult coffee maker. My machine has a pretty good wobble and does not sit evenly on any counter surface (we’ve tried nice quartz and granite countertops; you name it; the product is janky and won’t sit stably without a wedge under the machine). When I place the two pamphlets (that came with the machine) under the machine in the right spot, I am able to stop most of the wobbling. 2) The cord is pretty short. It is 2 feet long; you need to be very near an outlet. I am hoping that using an extension cord will be okay with this machine, and which I think will look bad, but I need more cord length. It would be great if the electrical cord that is on the machine were longer. 3) When the coffee is coming out of the machine into your cup, small droplets of coffee spit out everywhere. Even when using the “booster/high chair” that comes with the unit, to place your cup on for brewing, there are droplets of coffee splattering out, onto the counter and on the coffee mug handle. Something to be aware of. So don’t wear a white shirt while standing near the machine as it is brewing your morning cup o’ joe. I tried using a splatter shield (a paper towel surrounding the unit, while the coffee is brewing), but coffee still splatters onto the mug handle. No biggie. Just be sure you have a light towel handy. I would say that the cons I’ve outlined are minor design flaws that could be fixed. With regard to the unit being wobbly due to design issues, what might be considered in future models would be to add feet that you can adjust, to fix any wobbling. And lastly, I will repeat: It does make good coffee. Again, I am using good, filtered water with this machine, even when I run water only (no pod) through a brew cycle to clean/rinse the interior of the machine. I am enjoying the coffee. I will bring this machine to my office, and it should have a happy home there. It will be fine for the office.

    Well built, quality little machine that is perfect for coffee (before coffee), or as just the thing for kids to make cocoa. Also really looking forward to some iced coffee when the weather warms up a bit. The pieces all fit together well, and this is quite a good value compared to purchasing a “big box store name brand” since this functions every bit as well for K-cups. All of the pieces are super easy to take apart and put back together so that break down and clean up is a snap. It brews very quickly, so maybe a bit over a minute for a 10oz cup and you can fix a cup on demand or even just start the morning while your regular coffee is brewing. It comes with its own magnetic K-cup holder so the whole package takes up very little space on the counter, and it holds quite a bit of water so you don’t have to refill the reservoir after one or two small cups. As stated the water pushes through quite quickly, so while it is a nice thought providing a net mesh for trying to use your own coffee grounds it probably won’t work out well due to the speed of the brewing and the limited water flow area (that works so well with the little cups with two little holes punched in them). Also good to remember that the bigger the cup (16oz vs 10oz), the weaker the flavor. All in all this is a super nice machine though, and exactly what I was hoping for.

    I love the slim and compact size of this machine. I placed it on my mini fridge in my office and there is still plenty of room on top of my fridge for other items. The magnetic pod holder on the side latches on very sturdy. Even after I filled it with pods there was no slippage from the weight. I especially really enjoy the space from the spout to the reservoir. I was able to put a tall 14oz mug in that space with plenty of room to spare so I won’t have to tilt the mug to take it off the platform. It brewed perfectly this morning!

    While I do like this coffee maker, and it makes coffee well, it does have some shortcomings. The control buttons have the little bars lit, NOT the text of what the buttons do, so I can’t read the button text when the lights are lit up. I’ve now memorized what each button does, but would rather have the text lit for readability. I like to use paper filters for the ground coffee, and that just doesn’t fly with this filter basket – the grounds all floated up, and the basket overflowed into the receptacle and up to the bottom surface of the lid and was a total mess to clean up. The filter basket works fine without a paper filter in it, but you do get some residue in the coffee cup and the filter basket needs to be cleaned more than just tossing a paper filter. I do love the water reservoir since I only brew a cup or two a day and it’s nice not having to do the water for every cup. The instructions don’t say what the difference is between hot brew and bold, and I didn’t notice any difference using either setting. The other drawback to this coffee maker is that I can’t use my re-usable k-cup in the k-cup holder or in the filter basket. The coffee maker does fit nicely in my RV kitchen, and looks very nice. It makes coffee fast and isn’t as loud as my older single cup coffee maker. The included k-cup holder is a nice addition.

    2. You can select a cup size. (Our old Keurig was one of the few which did not allow selection 8-oz only.)
    3. Large 40 oz reservoir.
    4. Makes a HOT cup of coffee. Water is NOT pre-heated, so the brewing time is about 30 seconds longer than the pre-heated models.
    5. You can use regular, ground coffee in the included adapter. It is a true bonus—- you can use regular coffee grounds and make a 24-ounce pot. Nice.

    I am loving me this k-pod coffee maker. The slim design is what first interested me as my coffee space at home is tight and my previous coffee maker was bulky and taking up too much space. This is also my first k-pod combo maker to include the option to make iced coffee and I believe the bigger basket design not only allows me to add more coffee for iced brew but it allows me to do this for a stronger cup of hot joe too – and without choosing the bold option. It’s nice to have the liberty to create a stronger cup of coffee with this maker in regards to the use of ground coffee. I enjoyed my first iced coffee today using this machine and though it was a good cup using a k-pod, I’ll have to start buying the k-pods specifically manufactured for iced coffee k-pod makers.

    So I didn’t really NEED another coffee maker but I saw this and had to give it a try. I have my main unit in the kitchen, and another one in my home office. What I always wanted and now have was one in the master bathroom so I could wake up and not leave the room to get ready for the day. This is white and I thought it would work well. I was not disappointed. The unit itself is lightweight and has several functions and cup sizes you can choose from. It does a cold brew, which I tested and I thought was good, but I’m not a cold brew person and really love my hot coffee in the morning. This unit works well, brews different size cups and does it fairly quietly and as quick as other brands. I’ve now brewed several dozen cups with it and still love it. This came with a cool magnetic pod holder that you can see in the picture ( yes, that’s my bathroom Echo behind the coffee maker) which I slapped onto the side and it holds 10 pods of your favorite brewed beverage. This is really the feature that sets this apart from other makers as it allows you to store coffee without taking up extra space. Overall, great coffee maker and a welcome addition to my bathroom, although this could go great in a kitchen, office, or anyplace you need a coffee maker. Great value!

    This is an excellent k-cup machine. It heats the water very fast and brews in about 2 min. The choices of hot, bold and over ice is nice yet I still have not tried the over ice function as I like my coffee hot. The reusable filter basket is nice when you want to use your own coffee or like to grind your beans. The bold feature is good and lets the water simmer a little longer giving you that extra flavor. The 3 removable bases are great for all your different sized cups. The removable water reservoir makes refilling easy but I have mine sitting next to my sink and just use the pull out faucet to refill mine. This is not the best coffee maker but for on the go and fast it would be hard to beat. The price is great compared to others out there. What separates this from the 2.0 version is the magnetic k-cup holder that fits on the side of this machine or can be moved to anywhere metal that it will stick to. It is a nice space saving design and I do like that you can remove it or have it anywhere you want. I have the 2.0 in white and now I have this one and they are both in use as my house likes their coffee, I love coffee, and we always seem to be on the go and they have never let us down.
