   I know it’s a coffee machine but I use it for tea. The difference between tea and coffee, tea needs to be brewed hotter and longer, this machine is capable of it. I have also tested a lot of machines to make my tea, and I found that “Instant Infusion Brew Plus 12 Cup Drip Coffee Maker”,makes the best and strongest tea I have had from a machine. It has a very wide showerhead, it pre soaks the tea, and I leave it on small brew batch and strong brew, that way the tea has more time to brew. Makes the perfect moring cup

   They sell a product like this coffee maker and have no way to get any info about it. Info like where to get replacements for their 1 of a kind charcoal filters that they make such a big deal about it being an important feature. You are given 1 filter with the maker and no link anywhere in operation manual or online. Why bother even having that feature listed at all. Also there is nowhere to get a replacement carafe which is nearly impossible to pour from without spills unless you hold the lid up when you pour. Then the steam from the hot coffee burns your thumb. To be fair it does make good coffee.

   It is programmable, has brew strength option, and water reservoir for a very reasonable price. We had a single cup coffeemaker with a reusable filter because we drink 2-4 cups during the work week. The problem was when we had guests and needed to make multiple cups. Love that this has a reusable filter, warmer, and small batch setting (it will brew all the water in the tank so button is a brew adjustment not a volume adjustment). So far so good and we have limited counter space so this size is ideal.

   The coffee maker makes 6-8 out of 12 cups you then must press the brew button a second time to make it use the rest of the water. 4 cup selection is OFF.
   The decanter leaks out the edges when you try and pour it which makes a mess if you don’t do it over the sink.
   When you add the water to the cylinder some of it pushes right through into the basket while you fill it so now it drips all over the hot plate.
   I thought paying this much money for a coffee maker you would get a better one than the $15 ones at Walmart, but those work better than this one.
   I called the company to use the warranty but they want you to take pictures of everything and also …..get this…. they want a VIDEO of it showing the issue.
   Well seeing as it takes about 30 minutes to get 12 cups, I am not making a 30 minute video.
   This was a mistake on my part getting this without reading reviews, shopping for a new coffee maker after 3 months of use

   I bought this to take to my mom’s house. I tested it first to be sure it worked ok, and was very pleased with the functionality and quality, so much I’m considering keeping it at my home and giving her my old cuisinart coffee maker instead (she’s not a coffee drinker, it’s just for when I visit). The dimensions are a bit longer – sticks out onto the counter a few
   Inches more, but not a problem. I appreciate the function to adjust the brewing strength as I often just make a couple of cups. I like the detachable reservoir for east filling and cleaning. But most important is the taste and this model delivers a really great cup of coffee!! Btw I use paper filters, not the included gold filter.
