   My Darling Bride and I lived in Italy for two years (I know, rough life) and really became connoisseurs of fine café. While the K-Cafe is not “real” espresso, it’s a phenomenal substitute. The frother is astonishing! I’m still not entirely sure how that little booger works: but within a minute, half & half in a room temperature frothing mug is the consistency of shaving cream. Just fill it to the appropriate line, put the lid on and hit the button. Done. Start that, get to the coffee side and everything will be done at about the same time. There’s a setting for Coffee or Latte/Capo. By selecting the Latte/Capo button, the machine automatically selects “STRONG” and “SHOT”. It knows what you want and sets it up for you. For cappuccino, I use two shots of Black Rifle AK Espresso or their Death Punch. And for a Keurig, this is as close to the real deal as you’re going to get without an authentic, steam-injected machine. And I might be awake for three days! For regular coffee, you will want to experiment with the various sizes and strengths to get the perfect cup for YOU. The Darling Bride fancies two pods of French Roast, 8 ounces each, for her favorite morning jump start. I’m not a big coffee fan anymore (I sort of coffeed out in the Navy), but when I want a good hearty espresso or cappuccino, it doesn’t get much better – or easier – than this. We’re glad we retired our old Keurig and got this, and we highly recommend it without reservation!

   What a joke! This model sucks. 15 days in keep getting error message to “add water”, even with full tank. Then frother doesn’t work. So I follow instructions and Kuerig customer service walks me thru troubleshooting and says, sorry, we can’t fix, we’ll send a new one. New one arrives & fritter works but same error message means no coffee dripping. So I call Keurig customer service & their solution is to send another water tank. Wait a week, and test it and it doesn’t solve problem. So I call back and they said bc I didn’t order direct from Keurig, they can’t give my $ back. While I was waiting for the last part, we had guest in town, so I sent hubby to Walmart to pick up a different Keurig model- one w a pot. And while that model k-cup part works, the full pot brewer tastes awful, and can’t set a timer to it. So that one is going back to Walmart. Needless to say, save your $. And if you do decide to purchase this, go direct to Keurig. $200 and more time wasted on this POS.

   It’s attractive unit and so far works well to make really hot coffee. When the water starts to boil it is really loud. It takes a few seconds for the water to boil. The keurig supreme operates right away sending hot water as needed. The water reservoir is smaller than the keurig supreme. The handle I don’t like, it feels awkward and I feel might break. On the keurig supreme it is built in and no worries. The cap also to me is not easily put on. I dropped it into reservoir twice. I like the really hot coffee. I like the many uses although haven’t tried everything yet. Since it keeps water inside the unit itself all the time, I wonder what the water is sitting on and how it heats. Excited over the newest keurig and happy.

   I’ve been trying to replicate my favorite latte from a well known coffee shop for years! This is it! I’ve wasted probably thousands of dollars on espresso machines, frothers, steamers, products and materials only to fail over and over again. When I saw a latte maker on a TV show, I went straight to the Google and found this amazing contraption. I sucked it up, spent what I thought would be another wasted few hundred dollars, and waited patiently for my overnight delivery. I looked at the box for a few days before I finally got the courage to open it and braced myself for confusing and complicated directions. Plot twist – it was so simple! I plugged her in, frothed my almond milk, brewed the latte, added my sauces and OMG! No more $10 lattes! This is it! Buy it. Just do it. You’ll be so glad you did! Also buy the Lavazza espresso pods. The taste is 100% as good, if not better than coffee shop espresso!

   ⭐⭐⭐ I purchased this Keurig early 2023, it is now mid 2024 and half of it still works. I know it’s time consuming to make a whole pot of coffee, but I’d rather do that than have a little mold treat in my coffee every morning. ✨PROS✨ -Its a great coffee maker overall, using the standard K Cups. -This system has a feature where prior to brewing your cup, you can select ‘STRONG’ to make a stronger cup but I honestly don’t taste the difference. -Great range of sizes, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, and 12oz. -Compatible with espresso K Cups where you can select a shot. -And of course, the latte and cappuccino feature, but more about that in the cons. ❌CONS❌ -We specifically spent the extra $ on this maker because of the latte and cappuccino feature. You are able to use the little steam cup that is provided to make steamed milk. This part of the Keurig lasted about 6 months before it completely stopped working. I’ve tried everything to fix it, nothing. So now it can only be used as a standard Keurig. -Completely my fault, but the removeable parts are NOT dishwasher safe! Don’t be lazy like me, just handwash it! (except the steamer cup of course) -The water needs to be cleaned weekly, even twice a week. It collects mold VERY EASILY. Also, make sure you are using cold or room temperature water to fill the tank. -The whole system collects mold very easily. It says to run it a few times with just the hot water but this is not enough. -The water tank is very slim and small. In a household of two, we are constantly refilling it. Overall, I would say don’t waste the extra money on the latte extra because it barely lasted 6 months. Keurig is a great “idea” but the mold factor is just too icky. Its impossible to clean the whole system. I know its time consuming to make a whole pot of coffee but ehh..the mold is a big no-no for me!

    LOVE IT! I needed to get a coffee maker that made everything because since COVID I’ve been getting a lot more starbucks and it was beginning to get expensive. In an effort to save money, I looked for a new machine that could make things like lattes and cappuccinos. Stumbled across this and as soon as I saw that it had an automatic warmer and frother, that was all I needed to hear! I’m absolutely in love with it! If you’re a huge latter drinker, this is the machine for you! You make your coffee like you regularly would, put the cup in and select the size and if you want it strong. Then you get the cup, which has indicated lines on the inside for how much milk to put, & add your milk. To give it that extra ✨Starbucks✨ Feel, I use my regular oat milk and add my creamer so that I don’t have to add sugar or anything else to it. The machine once you hit the latte setting and it’s done brewing the coffee will both heat up and froth your milk for you! It’s amazing! I love that I can literally put a kcup in the machine, put milk in a cup, press a button & just walk away and this machine will do everything. Get it! If you’re on the fence, just do it! It’s so worth it! I save so much money making my coffees at home now! I even picked up some of those disposable coffee cups with cute designs on them from Homegoods and if I need a coffee on the go I just use one of those! Or my reusable cup from Starbucks.

    I am very picky when it comes to my coffee – somedays I prefer a cappuccino, other days just a plain cup of coffee. I have gone through many coffee makers, espresso machines, and specialty coffee makers, but I wanted an affordable coffee maker that would give me all options – coffee, iced coffee, lattes, and cappuccinos, along with amazing, thick foamed milk. I will say, hands down, this is the BEST coffee maker I have ever had. I love the single cup K-cups, the option to make all different types of coffees/espressos, and the frother is absolutely amazing at making the best foam for my cappuccinos!

    The photos are after about a month in a half of using at least 4 times a day. It did not arrive like that. My family bought this when we remodeled our kitchen to replace our old Mr. Coffee Cafe Barista. My entire family was telling me this is a waste of money, it won’t be as good, it will make “fake coffee”(for some reason my father thought that k-cups were just a concentrated liquid that dispersed through water), etc. I finally said lets just buy it and if it doesn’t work out I’ll get another Mr. Coffee with my own money. Now it is my family’s favorite coffee machine we have ever used. You can even buy reusable filters(we bought 2 of them) so that you don’t need to use k-cups. With our old Mr. Coffee, the pieces were very small and difficult to clean. It came with two filters. A double shot filter and a single shot. Mr. Coffee didn’t sell either of these individually so if you broke either of them you could either buy a cheap knock-off single shot off of their website or spend $200 on a new machine just for the filter. They did not even sell a cheap knock-off double shot. Only a cheap knock-off single shot. This was very bad because my family only ever used the double shot. Whenever my father was done making coffee, he would actually hit the filter against the trash can so hard(to empty the grounds) that he would actually pop a small piece of the filter out and someone else would find it in the trash. Disgusting. Eventually he did that and no one was able to find the piece of the filter that got lost in the trash. That is the other reason we bought this machine, because no one in my house uses single shot(18, 22, 56, and 59 years old).Thankfully, with this one that is literally impossible. The other thing I didn’t like is that the rest of the machine had super small parts which made it super difficult to clean. Cleaning to milk frother took at least a half hour because we would literally have to grab a screwdriver and take the entire frother apart to clean all of the bits. With this thing it is literally just a ring. The other thing about the frother that I didn’t like is that you would put in a bunch of milk(it doesn’t tell you how much is good for just one cup) and just put what wasn’t used in the fridge. Then, because the frother isn’t air tight the milk would rot and you had to dump out the milk and clean the milk container(thankfully not the whole frother). With this you just put in milk for 1 cup which is perfect. No more rotten milk. Besides the milk container on this takes less than a minute to clean at most. Also, on this machine you can chose to froth the milk cold, which is fantastic for cooling your boiling hot coffee to drinkable temperatures. Mr. Coffee didn’t have anything like that. Lastly, the travel mug “option” on this thing is so much better. On the Mr. Coffee, you took out a plate and you basically just put the mug in a hole and hoped that was large enough for the base of your mug. In our case, we had to brew multiple cups of coffee and pour them into the mug(which was a very long process). On this machine, you literally just slide out the drip tray and put the mug right there. More than large enough for any reasonably sized travel mug. My family also really liked the “strong” brew option on this thing. With Mr. Coffee the closest you could get to that is putting in the double shot filter but then pressing the “single shot” brew option. Again, this was a definite upgrade.

    Keurig hit it out of the park with this one. Simple and elegant. Works quickly. Very easy to use. Milk frother works amazingly well. Can brew coffee or a shot of espresso. It’s no Jura but it’s very good. Any downside? Not enough to prevent me from recommending it… but here are a few things Keurig could improve on: 1. Water reservoir lid: you have to take it off to fill it. Why not just flip it up? It’s a minor thing, but it’s something I deal with every time I brew. You fumble and lift it out of there. Then you have to set it down somewhere and you have to put it back when you’re done. Unnecessary steps in what should be a very simple process. 2. Quite a few button clicks. I think there’s one or two more than my other Keurig. It would be nice if it just remembered your last brew. Nope: you’re supposed to select “coffee” “strong” the “size” and then “start.” Technically you don’t have to choose “coffee” but that’s not immediately apparent. Most people will figure that out eventually. You have to press “Start” when other Keurig’s just start when you select the size. I think that’s because of the espresso option. So it might be necessary but it’s kind of a clumsy design. They could just have the sizes listed including the espresso shot. 3. Software is a little buggy… I occasionally have to shut it down and reboot. 4. I leave a cup under it because it looks better with a cup under it. It’s a really nice looking machine, but it looks like it’s missing something when there isn’t a cup underneath it. In my opinion. Don’t let me scare you. This is a GREAT machine. I’m not really that particular, but I like sharing the particulars. Things i would want to know. 😉

    Honestly it’s more like 3.5 stars but I’m rounding up. Coming from using a ‘regular’ Keurig machine, here’s what is disappointing: I have to turn this machine on every time I want to use it and it takes a bit of time for it to warm up. Not a big deal to everyone but if you make your coffee right before leaving for work, this could delay you a couple minutes. The ‘strong option is not as strong as my old machine No free sample cups – there should at least be a handful of dark or espresso roast to play with No more 4 oz cup size – sometimes I want just a little more but 6 oz is too much It seems to be a tad glitchy. Sometimes the frother doesn’t do anything when press the button even if it lights up and someone’s all the buttons flash but I have no idea why. If this continues to be a problem, I’ll have to return it. Stuff I like: Got the 12 oz size back (our last machine only went to 10 oz) I like the strong shot but would like there to be a 4 oz strong shot option The milk frother is fun, though the buttons can be temperamental. I like to put a tablespoon or two of flavored creamer and fill to the line with milk. Very tasty and the foam is fun even if it’s not long lasting Coffee comes out hotter than with my last machine, but there’s no choice in temp FYI Easy to clean so far Easy to fill the reservoir This machine will not make a real cappuccino or latte, but for a home brew machine it’s fine as long as you’re not expecting Starbucks. If you like the fancier finish & color (special edition version), Costco got these literally the day after I ordered this one from coffeemakers.us.com. For $10 more you get the special finish and some k-cups, however I don’t care about the finish, just the functionality and the free k-cups were not ones that I like or wanted to try so no big loss for me. The biggest advantage in buying there is the extra year warranty. Overall, I’m glad I bought it. Longevity remains to be seen though, fingers crossed.

    Obviously, I got a machine someone else had sent back. There was coffee and milk everywhere in the box and on the machine. What a mess! But since I trust that coffeemakers.us.com would make it right if it didn’t work, I spent a close to an hour thoroughly disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling the unit. Then, after reading the instructions, I fired it up. It worked perfectly! It has been a few weeks now, and I could not be happier with this unit. The size is compact and fits well on the counter. I have encountered no leakage, as a few have mentioned in their reviews. My wife and I both like milk with breakfast for the extra protein, so we have been making almost exclusively lattes using ultra filtered fat free milk. The foam on top is thick and rich. The heat level is not scalding so we don’t have to wait to start enjoying the latte, but it is hot. Actually, just right. The noise is minimal. Less than our old simple Keurig brewer. We also bought Cafe La Llave espresso style K cups and Jordan’s Skinny Vanilla syrup. The resulting product is surprisingly good! So simple. So quick! So cheap!

    I had my eye on this specific Keurig model for quite some time as I am a caffeine freak and love my lattes and cappuccinos. So, as soon as it went on sale, I snatched it up. I am so glad I did. I have had it for a couple months now, and I use it every single day for multiple drinks. I’ve made at least one latte or cappuccino every day, as well as regular cups of coffee. It is also extremely convenient for making a cup of hot tea. In a pinch, I’ve also used it to make a quick cup of noodles and instant hot cereal. Cleaning the steamer cup is super easy, and the water reservoir is big enough with a fully removable lid that also allows for easy cleaning. I cannot recommend it enough. Even at full price, it is well worth it, especially if you take into consideration how much you can save by making your latte at home.

    We got the k-cafe smart model to replace the previous version. The older one (that is purchasable on this listing as well) had stopped brewing accurate amounts consistently and the frother didn’t always work well. This didn’t start happening until a few years in, though, and didn’t happen every time. It just seemed like it was starting to go out, so we upgraded. In comparison, the smart model is a little smaller, brews more accurate amounts and the coffee seems to be quite a bit stronger – to the point where I might dial back the strength on the coffee I purchase because I only drink cappuccinos and lattes and the strength on those isn’t adjustable like a regular cup of coffee would be. I like that you can adjust how much froth you want – I’ve tried levels 2 and 3 and seem to be happy with 2. 3 is REALLY thick. One down side that is different from the older model is that now you can’t brew and froth at the same time – you have to start the frother, then put your k-cup in and select shot and it doesn’t start brewing until the frothing is complete. The other one did it simultaneously. It doesn’t take too much longer and the milk is still frothy by the time it finishes brewing, so not a big deal. I like that the new water container is more easily removable for refilling and my husband likes all the additional customizable options like brew strength and temperature. The older model only has 2 options for strength and no heat adjustment other than hot vs. cold on the frother. We don’t really use the app. It has recipes and you can schedule brews, but I wouldn’t be able to schedule mine without leaving milk/syrup out in the frother and my husband likes to put his creamer in his mug before brewing for some reason – so same issue as me, which makes it kind of pointless. It’s a nice feature if you want a regular cup of coffee and/or add your creamer after, but not one we plan to use. So far, we are happy with it. I wouldn’t say it is a great deal better than the other model, but it does look nicer, has a few more features and is about 1/3 smaller.

    Wasn’t sure if it would be worth the $ but so far so good! Tank is good size and easy to use. I like all the different size coffee you can make plus the strong option. For me the reg setting is strong enough. Nice hot fresh coffee! It does take a few extra mins to heat up compared to my old tinier keurig but I expected that. Pretty self explanatory on how to use. LOVE the capp and latte option with the frother! Only issue is that when I turned it on this am the frother buttons were not cooperating..I turned it off and on, still didn’t work. Had to unplug it! Then the button lit up when I pressed it. All and all I’m happy with it.

    My old Kuerig finally gave out after about 7 years, maybe more. I decided I wanted to spend a little more since that one lasted so long. This is so easy and so easy to clean after.     OVERALL IMPRESSION: I would honestly not recommend getting this product or a Keurig with the smart features. This machine is trying to do more than it really should and it makes it more susceptible to issues. They clearly aren’t being engineered to the same quality as they were prior. FUNCTIONALITY: I’ve been using Keurig’s for many years and I honestly don’t believe this machine makes coffee taste any better than other Keurig machines I’ve used. I haven’t had issues with the water flow, but the Brew ID feature seems more like a ploy for Keurig to know what pods people drink for them to advertise products similar to those flavor or to “expand their at home barista” abilities. This machine also doesn’t have the ability to use the reusable pod designs I’ve seen that allow people to use their own coffee beans like other keurigs I’ve used. BUILD QUALITY: As for build quality, I’ve purchased this product twice now. The first one worked well with no issues, but I had to move and it being briefly boxed up must have done some form of damage, as it shorted immediately after being plugged back in (could smell the burnt plastic trying to run water through it, no bueno). It had been just over a year of use, so it was out of warranty, but I ordered a new machine as replacement through Keurig directly and that one broke within days attempting to perform a brew ID. The whole coffee machine was dead in the water, stopped working like it fried the machine. Keurig sent me another replacement and this model has worked better over the last 3 months, but the frother on this one is a 50:50 gamble. Some days it decides to turn on and work, other days it’s just an attached cup. The Brew ID can take a notable delay some times, you have to just open the machine and re-close the lid so it either gives up or somehow reads the pod label better. The needle is sharp though, so it at least has no problem puncturing the pod.

    I just brewed my first cup from this brewer….Tim Horton’s Dark. It tasted so much better then the same coffee from my old 2.0 machine and it came out FASTER and so much quieter. Setup was a breeze (wifi connection was very simple) and it tells you to do a cleansing brew before using the machine. The K-Cafe recognized the kcup and suggested optimal settings (you need a wifi connection for this functionality). I was able to change strength and temp settings and of course I was able to choose the cup size. I have not yet made a Cappucino…that’s next! 7/22 UPDATE: Cappucino with a double shot came out quite good…lots of froth in the milk and the double shot of the Barista Italian Roast kcup made for a delicious drink. The result was almost as good as the espresso machine I have! The water tank is so easy to use…it functions just like a pitcher. I also love that the included frother is powered by the K-Cafe (no separate outlet needed). Unlike other Keurig machines, the design of this machine is very attractive and extremely user-friendly.

    We resisted the K-Cup trend for a long time, but the features of this machine won us over. We are stupidly happy to make this machine our first Keurig. • Out of the box, it sets up incredibly easy. • Install the filter to the water vessel, add water and you’re good to go. • You can use any K-Cup in this machine. • Selecting “Coffee”, you are offered four brewing volumes to choose from. 6, 8, 10 and 12 ounces. • You can also select Latte/Cappuccino, which results in a strong shot from your pod of choice. • The heated frother is impressive. I can’t believe what it does to 2% Lactaid! • Brewing times are very efficient and clean-up is very simple. • The water reservoir is easy to handle, refill and reinstall. • It’s not overly noisy. • It has a larger footprint than our classic brewer but having the heated frother is worth it. • The design is smartly efficient and very good looking. Added 7/21/18: I’ve added a picture showing the results of frothing a single latte serving of 2% Lactaid. I think you can see the line between the froth and the liquid about half way. It’s amazing. Really, the frother is the point in this model and it makes all kinds of things possible.     Wow! I have always owned a Keurig machine but this one is the best! I recently had bought, and immediately returned, another espresso machine. I did a lot of research and read a ton of reviews. I found that machine for the price to be too difficult to manage and froth the milk. But this machine, with smart technology is so fun and easy to use with the app. I decided to give this one a try. Talk about a hot cup of coffee! I like that I can choose how hot I want my beverage. My first cup of coffee sat for a half hour while I made breakfast for my family. I was pleasantly surprised that my coffee was still very hot! My favorite part is the milk frother. I have found that I can combine milk and creamer together. I tried out the espresso KCups and made myself a white chocolate mocha. The clean up was so easy. I am still pretty amazed at how quickly I can make a latte, cup of coffee or cappuccino. I wanted a machine that I can still use my KCups with and brew any coffee I want. I did purchase the new filter that matches this machine. I can use it for my Starbucks espresso and regular coffee. You can also make the milk froth cold too, not just hot! There is also an option for ice coffee! I would say that if you like a hot cup of coffee, with the option to make fun drinks, this is the machine for you! Easy set up, easy clean up!

    I used to frequently drop the lid of the coffee maker’s water container inside. However, my husband came up with a clever solution by adding a convenient handle to the lid. Thanks to this ingenious addition, I no longer have to worry about losing the lid inside the water container. This little handle he used is actually for phones. Our last coffee maker had a handle on the water tank lid. It really needs one for clutzos like me.

    I use it every day now. I wanted a coffee machine that makes both coffee and frothed milk (hot and cold), and this is the best I’ve found so far. It’s much easier to use than manual coffee makers. Since I only drink lattes, it’s been a game changer for me. The coffee is great, and it saves time. Also very easy to clean a refill water.

    Overall great machine and one bad mother frother! This unit replaced my previous Keurig that I had for 10 years. I’ve had this one for 3 months now. I mostly use it to make a cup of coffee using frother to add 1/2 & 1/2 – kind of Americana style. I have only made a cappuccino and latte a few times. Coffee is just my personal preference. I use Neuman’s Own organic special blend k-cups coffee for reference. Pros: 1) makes an amazing cup coffee! Wow! Huge improvement over my previous model. Flavor is incredible- tastes better than starbucks or Pete’s. This unit offers 6, 8, 10, 12 ounce and a shot. I like my coffee relatively strong. My previous Keurig needed to be set to 6 ounces in order to be strong enough for me using the same coffee (Neumanns own organic special blend). It’s amazing how much more efficient this machine is. I regularly brew 10 ounces on the strong setting and it’s just as strong but more flavorful as my old one 6 oz. I have had several 12 ounce cups on the strong setting and it’s still a pretty darn strong cup of coffee. 2) I love the frother (with the exception of the cons listed below). I was hesitant to get this unit because of all the bad reviews about the frother breaking shortly after receiving a brand new unit. I thought it would be a nice thing to use when guests came to visit. Lol. But I use it for every single cup! The frother adds amazing flavor to the coffee. My life has been transformed. I use add 3 tbsp of 1/2 & 1/2 to fill just above spindle way below fill line use cappuccino setting. Yum! There is a cold and hot setting on the frother + latte and cappuccino options. The cold setting barely froths at all which is fine. I’m sure it has something to do with the temperature but it comes out cold for my iced coffee – which tastes just like a nitro brew at Starbucks – by filling up a coffee cup with ice and using the shot setting on the coffee maker. Cold setting + cappuccino option on frother. Again life transforming in the summer! I hope it doesn’t break as many reviews I have stated. So far so good knock on wood! Cons: 1) needs smaller frother. One improvement I would definitely suggest is a smaller sized frother to allow for less milk/half & half for a cup of coffee. It’s way too much cream to fill to the fill line of smallest setting which is cappuccino for one cup of coffee. It still will froth pretty well when I put in just enough to cover the black spindle inside but (1/3 of minimum fill line of cappuccino) but it would be even better if could accommodate smaller amounts of milk. 2) the lid of the frother is very thin and flimsy on the sides. Several of the plastic pieces have broken on the side while carefully hand washing, one broke the day after 2nd use. 3) Already rust forming inside the frother. I wash and dry it immediately after each use and leave the lid off. 3) Sometimes the frother does not froth much at all and other times it froths incredibly well. Again I am using way less half & half than the minimum fill line amount. But it’s always the same amount, 3 tablespoons. 4) the unit itself is very light – a fraction of what my older unit weighed. As other reviewer‘s have mentioned, the parts are flimsy and the water reservoir is cheaply made and you need to be careful when attaching it to the unit so it doesn’t break. I usually have to give it a few tries before it will lock into place.
