    This brewer is awesome! No more wasting my money at coffee shops for poor tasting and poor quality coffee! Make sure you grind your own coffee beans on coarse mode otherwise if the coffee grounds are too powdery then the coffee grounds will seep through the filter and taint the brew. I like using organic coffee grounds for the best tasting cold brew! Allow to brew at least 12 hours. I’ve had no leakage and the design is great. It fits perfectly in my fridge and doesn’t take up a lot of room. It’s pretty easy to clean with the brush that came with it. Just soak it first so that the grounds will come out easily. Very happy with this purchase. So easy to use and make cold brew. Wish I would’ve bought it sooner!

The glass jar is sturdy and well marked, the lid closes tight and opens easily to pour, the fine mesh filter is easy to use, to clean and brews very well. As someone else commented, it would be nice if it came with instructions but those are easily found on the internet. I am quite happy with this cold brew jar and would not hesitate to purchase it again if needed.

    I got this pitcher hoping to experiment with cold brew at home. While this is a really great pitcher, it has a fundamental flaw: You can’t brew less than a whole pitcher. If you use more than a 1:4 ratio for coffee:water, only half the grinds will be submerged due to the taper of the mesh filter. Because of this, you can’t really adjust the strength or ratio effectively. If the diameter of the mesh strainer was bigger, you could submerge more grinds with less water. Ultimately I like this pitcher but I’m doing to use a cheese cloth instead of the mesh strainer included.

    When looking into a cold brew product I was amazed at some very involved and complex products out there. This isn’t one of them. It’s simple. It’s durable. It works just fine. It’s a 2 quart mason jar with a strainer and lid. That’s it and that’s all you need. Even came with a cleaning brush that is flimsy but it works. I’ve only had it a few months but I see no flaws that would result in causing long term problems. The lid works well as a pour spout or simply a lid. I chose the 2 quart size since I drink a lot of coffee, if you don’t drink that much volume, maybe a 1 quart size would be better. I now much prefer cold brew and only drink regular hot coffee when it’s super cold outside. One tip, your grounds must be coarse.

    This coffee maker has a very high quality, large mason jar container. The lid is a plastic, screw-on spout and it has a gasket in the screw on top as well as one you place on top of the jar. The filter is very fine which will be great to prevent coffee grounds from getting into the jar, as well as allowing a finer grind to get a stronger brew. I took one star off, since takes a bit of effort to screw on the top due to the gasket that sits on top of the jar.

    It won’t let me choose 5 stars for some reason. I’ve only used it once, but it works great. If the coffee grounds are too fine, it does let some of the finer powder through the filter, but not a lot, and it settles at the bottom for the most part. Everything seals perfectly, no leaks at all. The lid does take a bit of effort to pop open, but again, it doesn’t leak. No complaints, would buy again.

    I really like this product, its easy to use and to clean. However, the only issue I have is that it doesn’t come with instructions. Through research and trial/error I found that it works best if you use one cup of COARSE ground coffee, fill with filtered water up to the top line (or the 1500 line, make sure the grounds are covered), and then let it sit in the fridge for 16-24 hours. Remove the filter and grounds, clean the filter, and repeat 🙂

    I was excited to try cold brewing coffee and ordered this set up. The strainer was bent and out of round and as you can see the gasket in the lid did not fit. I ordered another, slightly more expensive set. I was going to return this one but broke the glass container of the new one on the first use. DO NOT USE THE LID TO LIFT THE CONTAINER WHILE THE STRAINER IS IN IT. ESPECIALLY WHEN IT’S FULL OF COFFEE. Oh what a mess! The only difference between the two sets, beyond what can be seen in the photo, is the size of the cleaning brush and the packaging. The new brush is twice the size of the first one. I feel the first set, because of the defects, may have been bought from a site like Temo and resold on coffeemakers.us.com.

    The cold brew coffee maker is thick and nice quality materials. The coffee flavor is able to soak through the mesh while leaving limited to no coffee grinds. The capacity of the container is high. Only issue I’ve experienced is the handle no matter where you start screwing it on the top ends on a corner and it’s almost impossible to fit your whole hand behind the handle so I have to pour it into another container. Minor inconvenience to me, but it might be a dealbreaker to others.

    Excellent glass jar, Wide mouth for easy clean, Glass is sturdy and can hold 6 cups, good size for the day cold brew coffee Filter mesh does a better result coffee and mesh have extra seal that make this jar as non spill proof jar. Easy to make, just pour the coffee in the filter, add water, let it sit in the refrigerator for 12 hours, great coffee taste. Good deal on the price for the quality of the jar.
