   I usually wait two months before I do a review. So I might change this later. For right now, WOW. I bought this to replace a brand name one that was rather difficult to use and needed to be replaced after one year. This one is quite small and fits great on my son’s snack cart. He had been concerned as he is disabled and wanted to have easy access. When you are ready to be you touch a button. It has one light. When that light comes on it is on and brewing. With the other machine it turned on when I lifted the lid and then I was supposed to press a button on the top. A good portion of my time was spent trying to decide if I had pressed that button either when I thought I had it thought I might have. Took two to the minutes to find out When you press the button not only does the light come on but within seconds coffee or tea comes out

   How adorable is this in my guest room! Perfect little K-Cup machine that fits in a tiny space- works fantastic and the coffee is pretty hot- I’m surprised at how great of a machine this is- TIP: Be sure you take your time pressing the little black button on the top of machine to pop the top up to put the Kcup in as that’s something I’d usually break :)) When my guest arrive I’ll have it open with the Kcup ready so when they close the lid they’ll get it has a catch- then they aren’t tugging at it!

   This little (and I mean little) coffee maker is adorable and works great. Been using it almost daily for six months. Functionally, it has given me no problems. But would it have killed them to make it just a half an inch taller? This is not 1954, and we are not using dainty little widemouth, squat coffee mugs that sit delicately on a saucer; most of us are using, big fat mugs that we get from gift shops, or mugs large enough to have clever things written on the side of them, and none of these mugs will actually fit in this machine without removing the drip tray. And as you can see from the photos, they **just barely** don’t fit. Literally an extra half an inch of clearance would have made this machine far easier to use on a daily basis. This is my only complaint. Otherwise it works flawlessly. So if you are a user of small, dainty coffee cups, by all means this is the machine for you. If you live in a dorm, or have a very small space and you want coffee in that space, then this machine is for you. If all of your coffee mugs are on the larger “gift shop/souvenir” variety, you are quickly going to become frustrated with this extremely small, yet very adorable, coffee maker.

   Convenient at a cost. Not like the Keurig that drains from k cup to cup with minimal cleanup. This drains out and around the pod then out of that holder into the main support cup of the coffee pot. From there it flows out to the cup. The pic is the mess between the 2 holders after brewing 2 cups back to back. Only way to clean the main area shown is to unplug and wash it in sink with a brush.

   This is a great alternative to the main brand single cup coffee maker. It is sturdy, well designed and makes a great cup of coffee. It is more compact than most machines, therefore, takes up less room on your counter. Still does the job though. Actually, it’s easier than my last machine. One less button to push. Just as fast to brew. The true test will be its longevity. My last main brand machine lasted 2 1/2 years of heavy use (4-5 cups a day). With proper cleaning, I have a feeling this one will equal if not surpass that mark. Oh, should mention too…..it costs half the price!!

   This came with 2 very unstable pods to put ground coffee in. One of which the lining was off allowing ground coffee to get into cup. This also doesn’t work with other baskets that hold ground coffee that work in other machines. Coffee comes out weak as the basket that holds coffee is smaller then other the normal baskets see pics below

   So depressing. I had a house full guests and needed the coffee maker, when this finally arrived. I am assuming the delay was because of the weather. The coffee maker does not work! It was in a large box with other items and the shipping box and other items had no damage. I think it must have been a return because the original product box has major water damage and was clearly opened and used before it was delivered. Quality control was seriously lacking.

   This is a replacement for a Keurig mini that was zapped by a nearby lightning strike. Ordered Aug 27th. Arrived today! Set up is plug in, brew two waters without coffee to clear the plastic flavor/scent and Voila!, excellent coffee being enjoyed over ice here in SW FL! Great size. Very efficient! Also, the liquid being dispensed from first drip is coffee, the Kuerig was six seconds of clear water darkening over time of dispensing. Now I know how Dark Roast is supposed to taste! Good and strong. The Keurig took too long to get the flavor through the plastic cup to deliver a tasty cup! Thanks!

    I wanted a small, inexpensive single cup coffee maker to take to a vacation rental. I’m a coffee snob and the thought of using a tired, nasty drip coffee maker that too many other hands had touched was not something I cared to do. This little guy caught my eye because of the low price as well as the stellar reviews. You usually get what you pay for, so I was skeptical but decided to give it a go anyway. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the coffee that this little guy produces. I like my coffee strong, and that’s exactly what I get. It is very easy to follow the directions (they are right there on the top of the coffee maker), and as long as you don’t overfill the pot, you’re fine. It takes a couple of minutes to brew a cup of coffee so it is not instant gratification, but I am happy to wait. For traveling, for a small office, a tiny budget, a limited amount of counter space, this coffee maker is perfect.

    I’m really enjoying this Mixpresso. This little coffee maker is my very first, I usually drink the instant kind. I have been enjoying the brewed flavor of coffee now for a few days and can’t imagine going back to instant. Make sure to follow the instructions for the device. Pour water into the filter area for one or two cycles to get rid of that plastic flavor and you should be fine. I use a 10 ounce thermos cup which is just right for it if you remove the drip tray which is super easy.

    What a cute little coffee pot! Perfect size for my needs and makes a nice cup of coffee. I adopted a couple of tips from other reviews that have worked wonderfully. 1) remove the blue filter before pouring water in the machine. Your able to get a full cup of coffee with no spilling. I’m within arms reach of filtered water so I’m not in need of the filter at this time 2) remove the drip tray for larger cups. This has helped a lot! It gives me a bit more clearance so there is no struggle while removing the cup. The cup in the photo is about 10 to 12 ounces which makes a decent size cup of coffee. For stronger coffee you can use a smaller cup to pour in the desired amount. All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase. Thank you.

    Why make a coffee brewer that can brew 14oz of coffee but won’t fit a 14 oz cup? I work 4 days a week and take my coffee to go on in the am. I purchased the shortest travel mug at 5 inches height and it will not fit under the machine. Even short standard “wide” open mugs that can hold 12-14 oz teeter precarious on the base plate because of how narrow the back curve is. Poor design. For standard 8-10oz mugs it works fine. Brews fast, tastes okay, love the flex option of grounds or pods. It does drip a little, and only came with a dinky rubber circle pad to catch drips that sits on the base and makes the clearance even less. I bought this for the sole purpose to make to-go cups in the morning. My days home I areopress and don’t use the brewer. In the past I used the CHULUX kpod brewer and they fit to-go reusable cups, and travel mugs, but only work for about 2 years and then give out. They also don’t have the flex brew option. They are inexpensive and may be what I go back to. I really wanted to love this flex brewer but it needs better design, more cup clearance, and better drip plate.

    The metal piece that pierces the top of the k-cup got pushed in with normal use, and it’s stuck in there good. Bad design. Who knows – it might even fall out and then it could end up in your drink if you have bad luck. Not a nice way to wake up. I’m amazed it lasted this long — maybe get the 3-year policy since based on other reviews, it seems quite likely to break. Otherwise, made acceptable coffee for a year (used once/twice a day); kept it clean as recommended. What I didn’t like: – doesn’t fit mugs taller than 4.25″ – I have a few taller than this – it’s easy to bump the switch on the side and turn it on by accident when doing other stuff nearby – slow to brew, but I got used to it

    This is a really convenient coffee machine for my gazebo. I like the fact that I can leave it in my outside cabinet and it’s ease-of-use. My only gripe is that it cannot hold a lot of water. In fact,It will give you one cup at a time. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoy this little machine as I sit outside on my gazebo and taking nature before going to work.     I ordered this to temporarily replace our Keurig b31 that had just quit working. This coffee maker is much smaller than I thought it was compared to the Keurig. It takes just under 1.25 cups of water, anything more is overflow. The machine is quiet and brews a nice hot cup of coffee in about 3 minutes. Overall, I would recommend this item, but be sure to hold onto it as it is lightweight and will move while removing pods.

    I used to own a mini Keurig machine and it just broke after 2 years of use. Didn’t like it. So are I like the simplicity of the Mixpresso machine. Plus, you can dump the water out, unlike the mini Keurig machine.

    I was tired of my Keurig Elite taking up huge swaths of counter space in the kitchen when it only got used two or three times a day. Enter a month-long search for a smaller model. This one was very small and came with decent reviews.

    After almost a month of using it, I’m pretty happy with it. I took it through the manual’s recommended washing before first use and haven’t gotten any kind of ‘plastic’ taste from it. It uses the reusable k-cup filters well, and is simple to use. The coffee or tea comes out hot enough for me and tastes as good as any other coffee machine.

    The downsides: you have to fill the resevoir every time you want a cup, and it uses all the water in it to make that cup. I keep a dedicated measuring cup next to it just for that purpose and it works well – coffee mugs aren’t great at pouring neatly. It also takes around two minutes to heat up the water, so it’s best to start it before you need the coffee. Other than that, I’m happy with it – it definitely takes up less counter space and I still get my coffee without much trouble.

    If you love, like or just want coffee once in a while, then this for you. It’s not a large bulky machine. It sits right next to my toaster over ready to be used. It’s simple and cute, Coffee is ready in under 2min. I haven’t timed it but i walked out to put on my shoe and came back it started dripping. There is a blue water filter that comes with it, I’ve figured out how to use that filter as a coffee filter with my loose coffee.     I purchased this coffee maker to replace my second Keurig that start brewing or if it did brew it only brewed half of the water that I put in. This coffee maker bruise hotter than my Keurig and faster and a lot quieter, oh this is so quiet. . This is a no-frills coffee maker, it is really small and larg coffee mugs might not fit in. Included in the package is a rubber Matt for your coffee cup, this seemed like an after though because it moves around easily and sometimes get in the way of my coffee cup. Hopefully this last longer than my Keurig coffee maker‘s.

    Good: The red one is adorable Good: Small and light-weight Good: Beverage is ready in two minutes Good: Can use K-Cup, ground coffee, loose tea, cocoa (use cocoa powder, put 6oz of water in maker and 6oz microwaved milk in cup) Good/Bad: Upon being brewed, the beverage is the perfect temperature to drink right away–good if you want to guzzle it down quickly before heading out the door, but if you’d like to sip really hot coffee, you’ll need to microwave your cup of coffee after it’s been brewed. Bad(ish): You must fill it with water every single time and rinse out the filter each time (unless you use a K-cup) Bad(ish): If your cup is taller than 4.5″, it won’t fit. Well, a 5″ cup will fit, but don’t fill it all the way because you’ll need to tip it to remove it.

    I have had this for over a month now. It is super easily to use and quick. I suggest using an easy pour measuring cup to put your water in, because if I try to pour water from a mug inevitably some will dribble out on the counter. The cup space is short; even my half sized travel mug doesn’t fit. So I just use a regular mug and then pour into a travel mug (over the sink). Regular K cups fit, and two reusable cups come with it. I think it is definitely worth it. I have used the reservoir kuerigs before, but I think that little bit of extra convenience isn’t worth an extra $100. It’s not hard to put fresh water in with each cup. (Also maybe more sanitary). I love my little coffeemaker.

    I am happy with my purchase, but let me address other reviews that almost made me not buy this k-cup brewer: 1) “Hard to fill up.” This has nothing to do with this k-cup brewer. Try using your coffee mug as a precision water pouring device and you will be sorely disappointed. YES, water DOES go everywhere if you try and aim water out of a coffee mug. The reason is there is not a pouring lip on a coffee mug. Duh. Solution: we keep a Pyrex measuring cup next to the coffee mugs and PROBLEM SOLVED. Fills with water quickly and easily, with no spills. 2) Next, I feel like a lot of reviewers were disappointed with the amount of the coffee output. Ten ounces, the amount it brews, is slightly less than a soda can (12 ounces). Pour that amount of liquid in your coffee cup before you order your machine and see if that’ll be enough coffee for you. I included a photo of a full brew in my mug so you can see. It was fine for us, but I can imagine many Starbucks grande and venti drinkers that would be disappointed. FYI–a Starbucks ‘tall’ (SMALL) is 12 OUNCES. 3) Bad taste. YES, ours smelled/tasted metallic straight out of the box. After reading all the reviews, when I received my brewer I ran 6 cycles of water through and then brewed the first k-cup. The coffee was bitter and undrinkable. I then read the instructions for “descaling” in the booklet. (Fill with white vinegar and hit start so that it starts brewing, but without a k-cup. When it starts to brew shut OFF the machine and let it sit for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, hit start again so the vinegar is pumped out of the machine. THEN run water through (still no k-cup) for 6-10 times. I did it until I didn’t smell any vinegar). Worked like a charm. Coffee tastes great. If this helped you, please click the “Helpful” button.     I have this in our guest room so that guests can brew themselves a quick cup without having to deal with our big coffee maker first thing in the morning. It looks cute. I actually would say this brews some incredibly strong coffee. I used K-cups in the same medium brew that I’ve had with other K-cup brewers. The Mispresso must have utilized every single grind of coffee in that little cup, because let me tell you – it was so strong I could hardly drink it. So, I bought a lighter breakfast blend K-cup variety and that seems to be more drinkable. Before using it for coffee, I ran water and white vinegar through it a few times to clean it (just poured it in the chamber and “brewed” the water without a K-cup).

    Leaks in the drip cycle in ways that can enter behind the switch panel. It also drips over the on-off switch. This all seems rather dangerous. I tried using less water. I also tried with and without a k-cup. Nothing works. The water ejection is too forceful. Additionally, and after ten leaky cycles with distilled water to try to clean, there is still a strong plastic smell in the water and the steam from the top of the unit. The water tastes like plastic, too. I REALLY wanted to like this as it seems to be of good build quality. Hard to like something, though, that smells and might possibly electrocute me or my family. I’m angry I didn’t test this before vacation. Stuck, now, without a coffee-maker when I most wanted one. See pics of the leaks. Update: tested with precise measurements. Doesn’t leak with 7 oz or less. Tiny leak at 8 oz. 9 oz or more is disastrous so stated 10 oz capacity is ridiculous. Found a workaround using the same K-cup twice but getting to 10 oz in 6 oz and 4 oz combinations, or any combination keeping one of the runs at 7 oz or lower. Smell is starting to dissipate. Will keep. Although inconvenient, form factor and build quality are good.

    Well, I’ve had this coffee maker for a few days now and it does make a good cup of coffee and hot. It’s real easy to use like filling and inserting a pod. I would say though the discription given, like it being programmable and implying that you can adjust the water level/cup size just isn’t true. I can only fit a 10.5 oz mug under the spout . Also they claim it brews your coffee in under 30 seconds! Not even close, I timed it at three and a half minutes, fast but hardly 30 seconds. So for the price a good simple single cup system but better products will be out there.

    When I bought it was supposed to be strictly for when I have guests that drink coffee. But I find myself using it practically every day for my morning tea. It’s fast and easy to use and a breeze to clean. I have a small counter top area and this works perfectly. I bought a sliding tray (also coffeemakers.us.com) and it’s great for tucking it away when not using it. I do recommend you run a few cycles of water through it when first get it, that will eliminate the plastic smell first time using.
