   I really wanted to like this coffee maker. My husband is the only one in our household that drinks coffee, and I’m always on the hunt to find the perfect small coffee maker with an “attached” grinder, need to say is hard thing to accomplish! This is perfect size and it grinds the coffee beans 🫘 but when is time to “decanter” coffee starts pouring everywhere! Behind the coffee machine, on the front on the sides everywhere! Everyday I need to clean the coffee maker and everyday it gets nasty at soon my husband makes his morning coffee. Do not bother trying it, whiting days of being open this starting to happen. Now I’m in the search for another coffee maker!

   As always, you get what you pay for. This thing went faulty and started leaking everywhere after daily use for nine months. Tried cleaning it out, running it with a vinegar solution, etc. – no luck. But honestly, due to the simplicity of the dang thing, the limited counter space it requires, and the price point, I will be purchasing another one.

   This little Mixpresso worked well for just over one year. The coffee bean grinder is loud but only for a few seconds; otherwise, it was very easy and convenient to use. It did produce a great cup of freshly brewed coffee. But just about a year after I bought it, it stopped working – the machine ground the beans but didn’t brew the coffee. I could just use the machine as a coffee grinder and then use a filter to make the coffee, but I shouldn’t have to. The company’s warranty only covers one year, so there’s nothing they can do…. Would rather invest in a more expensive machine that will last for more than one year.

   This is my second time purchasing this coffee machine. The first one stopped working only because I had dropped it so hard on the floor and cracked the back of it. Otherwise, I think it would’ve kept on going! This machine makes freshly ground coffee every time. The grinder is a little loud in the morning, but the results are worth it! On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best & great performance, I definitely give this a 10!

   I love the 2-in-1 grind and brew a single cup of coffee feature but the motor used for grinding the coffee beans could be a lot quieter. The motor sounds like it either has dry bearings or the motor itself is about to bind up which is bad for a brand new unit.
   The brew process is equivalent to a regular drip brew coffee maker and takes around 4 to 5 minutes if you want to wait for the slow drips to finish.
   The unit itself has a very small countertop footprint measuring around 6 inches wide by 11 inches tall.
   The coffee bean reservoir comes in two pieces and to clean them I smack the coffee grounds basket in the trashcan and rinse whatever’s left in the sink
   Overall I gave it four stars which could have easily been five if it weren’t for the noisy motor

   I use “8 O’clock” coffee beans and my husband uses the McCaffe ground coffee so we both can have our coffee just the way we like it, REVISED! Only lasted about 6 months, I loved it but couldn’t get company to stand behind it on anyway

   Update…October 27… Just went to make coffee with the replacement, and only got 1/3 of a cup. Don’t know what’s wrong, this time, but I’m done with it. I guess even though the company had sent a replacement and was very responsive the first time, I think it just might not be a good product that lasts. I will make an attempt to see what the problem is, but I’m not hopeful. *********************************************** I loved this machine until coffee flooded out through bottom of machine twice in a row. Bought it in January. It was fine until yesterday. Hopefully, I can get some satisfaction through coffeemakers.us.com or the company that makes it. Maybe I got a damaged machine. Update: contacted the Mixpresso web site and explained the situation. They were wonderful and sent me a replacement within two weeks. Hopefully, this machine will be better than the first one.

    I am totally in love with this Mixpresso Single Serve Grind and Brew Coffemaker! I have wanted to try a pod style coffeemaker for a long time, but this is even better! I do t have to give up my favorite coffee brand. I make a pot of coffee every morning, but sometimes I just want a cup in the afternoon. I know I waste so much ground coffee that way because I always make a full pot! This was definitely an exciting new kitchen gadget for me! Easy to use? Yes! Makes good coffee? Yes! Comes with the travel mug? Yes! Can use both ground coffee or coffee beans? Yes! Comes nicely packaged! Definitely giftable! If you are looking for a fun gift for someone, this may just be it! I sure would have loved someone to have given me one! Also, I use it for hot water to make tea and yes, I have even tried using my own mug. Be careful though because it takes 12-14 ounces of water, so you don’t want it to overflow. It’s just as easy to use the insulated mug and pour into your own mug if you want! Safer too! Oh and don’t forget to peel the protective plastic wrap off the stainless drain at the bottom of your new coffeemaker! For a minute, I couldn’t understand why it was white. I probably just needed more coffee! No learning curve here. I didn’t even measure my ground coffee for the first cup and it came out perfect. Great price point and definitely a fun addition to my kitchen. I have added several pictures and videos to help illustrate the points I have made in my review.
