It’s cute and it matches my other Nostalgia kitchen appliances but it’s really small and only fits a regular sized mug. (I like big cups and I cannot lie!) Also, it doesn’t make HOT coffee. It makes LUKEWARM coffee. I have only had it for a few days and it has already blown up more K cups than I can deal with. One morning, it literally blew up three in a row. What a mess! Yeah, I have regrets about this purchase. I will be replacing it. It’s not a good product. It’s literally garbage.

I gave it a “4” for value – it is a coffee maker after all, however I have no problem paying a bit more for the stunning aqua blue color. It arrived well packaged and before the expected delivery date. It was easy to figure out how to use the buttons, makes great coffee – no leaks or imperfections. The retro style and color fit perfectly into my decor and I love the flat top to keep mugs on (even though I need to move them each time to fill the water and filter with coffee). Overall I give it a 5, exactly as described and a unique piece on my counter. It makes making coffee in the morning so much more exciting and I love it! **Update – before a year it began leaking from underneath, then the heater stopped working, so useless now.

I must be honest, I typically make coffee in an old school method with boiling water and a pour through filter that sits atop my mug but I recently added another coffee drinker to my household and that method became too time consuming. I begrudgingly began the hunt for a coffee maker I could live with and was looking at very fancy units and then I came across this beauty. This coffee make was very vintage looking which suited my esthetic perfectly. Although it didn’t have all the bells and whistles some of the others I considered had, I bought it because it just looked fantastic. The day it arrived I unpacked it and squealed like a little girl on Christmas morning. What a GREAT LOOKING coffee maker. Best yet, it makes a great cup of coffee!!! Not quite as hot as my old school method, but a perfect temperature for my immediate drinking. It is easy to maintain and I can set the maker to turn on every morning at 4:30 and start brewing. (Yes I get up early). If you love retro looking things, this is the coffee maker for you! If you like a simple coffee maker that makes good coffee, this is the coffee maker for you! this guy is TINY, first impressions were concerning due to just how small it is (felt more like doll furniture than a coffee machine!) but man is this thing POWERFUL. heats up water in like 30 seconds and makes a large cup in about a minute. Its simple, its cute, and it gets the work done. only negative is the water reservoir is only large enough for one big cup, but honestly its not a big deal and isnt even worth -1 star. I would recommend a large but shallow mug for this machine, the mug pictured is 15 oz and holds the perfect amount without being too tall to fit.
